Stayed at the DayHello for a few days on business before using the Ferry Port to HKIA. The rooms require a revamp especially the carpet, however, if you are not sleeping on the carpet the rooms are good. For Chinese hotels the bathrooms are ok and the beds are very comfortable. I like a medium bed. Pillows are great. Staff at reception spoke good English. Staff that didn't a smile went a long way and they were helpful. Breakfast is very basic, however the best part is they have a coffee machine that grinds its own beans. For me this more than made up for the breakfast. Only real negative was staying in rooms 323 and 325 on a Saturday night. They must be right above the KTV and with very loud drunken signing certainly kept me awake. I wouldn't recommended this wing of the hotel. We have stayed in other rooms on previous visits and not had a problem. Overall a pleasant stay. Close to the Ferry Port. A tip for the Port is if you have fragile items don't check them in. Even when Fragile stickers are used, I've never seen bags thrown around as much as the guys behind the counter do.
