Owner description: This worthwhile attraction is part of Overseas Chinese Village (better known as OCT) and showcases the myriad minority ethnic cultures that make this vast country much less homogenous than imagined. It also serves as a great introduction to the history and traditions of China.

Is really a copy of different parts of China. If you do not have the chance to see other parts of China or at least to visit the Villages from China is a nice place to visit. Nice due to the fact that you can follow different shows and to by different souvenirs. Take in mind to see the horse show.

I don't like this boring place, will not go there again!!!
The entrance fee was RMB150/person. It's not worth for that.

We visited Splendid China in the afternoon, but for the limited time, we could only visit the China Folk Culture Show and had no time to visit Miniature China. This culture show is really amazing. The performers were really professional with their beautiful costumes. This attraction is really worth it to see. One thing that amazed me too : in the garden there was a man that performed his unique skill. He cut a piece of paper to form a silhouette of a visitor's head in just a few second.

There are different exhibits for many of China's 56 ethnicities, each one showing their buildings, clothing, tools, etc. There are Beijing Opera demonstrations, Inner Mongolian horseriding, acrobatic and dancing shows, and a water splashing war at night. It's better to go in the day as many of the exhibits/shows shut down at night (for example, the horseriding). The nighttime history/acrobatic/dancing show in the large arena was very interesting, if a little overlong.
