Review of Hairui's Tomb

Hairui's Tomb

Ok it's only 10 Rmb and it is genuine MIng dynasty tomb as are the statues leading up to it. Go clockwise around the Walls to see the pictures depicting his life.
We got abandoned by our taxi, and no others around. However we walked towards town (thats to the right) along the highway 500 meters to the bus stop. Got on the number 28 for 1 Rmb it took us all the way to the centre near the sun city hotel and we got off by the Qilou Food street which was exactly where we were going next. Result!

I need to be agree to kit reviews. It doesn't have much things to do here, and you need to get a private chartered car. They do not have plenty of taxis here.

I went there with a private chartered car, so I find no problem. There's nothing to see, not that interesting, but that's one of the best there. You went to haikou, just come here and see. At least you've seen it.

I bought a sweet potato infront of the gate, it was 8rmb, not cheap for one potato, but it was so good.

When we went there there was a total of 5 people in the entire place. Maybe this was because of the time of year however the place was a nice place from the bustle of Haikou.

There's free car parking at the front and 15RMB each to get in which was a nice price.

The place isn't that big though.

Our family of 7 took 2 separate taxis to Hai Rui Tomb. However we later found out that it was not easy for us to find 2 taxis to get us out of there. Tourists who visit this place usually have their own private transport. Hence it was not so easy to get a taxi from there. The Hai Rui Tomb attraction is rather small. It is like a garden. The life story of Hai Rui, from the birth to his death of this very righteous but poor Chinese official in the old days, is being depicted on multiple wooden panels both in Chinese and English with pictures, and hung on the walls. You will probably need an hour or even less to finish touring the whole attraction. But then again, if you don't visit here, there really isn't much attractions in Haikou that you can go to.
