Visiting this temple was a serendipitous experience for my wife and I when visiting Hankou. The temple is a mix of styles: Burmese domes, Hindu gods, Buddhist statues as well as Gothic and Roman styles. I understand that the temple was built in the 1880’s during the early part of the Qing dynasty but I don’t know much more. It is close to the Tianhe center and well worth the one hour it takes for a gentle walk aroud.
