This hotel is okay on the surface, with reasonable rooms and facilities. But look a bit closer and you will soon realise that it is aimed squarely at the Chinese market. Western travellers are likely to be underwhelmed by the experience.
For instance, the breakfast was very poor with mostly Chinese fare. Warm orange juice and rice porridge will not make an appetising choice for most foreigners. Service is rather indifferent throughout the hotel, with no one putting themselves out. Finally, be careful at check out, or they will charge you in your home currency at a bad rage. Make sure you pay in cash, as they will sting you otherwise.More
