Only stayed 2 nights there but left with a very nice impression.
It seems that there are two towers and we were in the newest which seems noticeably better than the old one.
All the staff was friendly and could speak some English, some of them quite well.
I had some request to use a room and the staff was very helpful without making too much fuss.
Also one morning I arrived 15 minutes too late for breakfast, as it's till 10am on weekend but till 9:30 on week day. Most of the food was tidied up but one of the staff prepared two large plates of food with a bit of everything and a nice coffee.
This kind of attitude makes a whole difference.

This is my first stay at this hotel and I am not really satisfied, the foyer is very, very big and there are many spots to sit around as there is free wifi in the lobby. The rooms are very small and are in need of alot of changes, the bathroom especially. The sealing in the shower are peeling off and the door of the shower can not be closed properly and the effect of that is puddles of water all over the place. The door of the bathroom will not close properly and we did not have any conditioner so it was entirely impossible to wash my hair as it is of medium length. The staff didnt speak much english and when we had an issue with the heating system, we had to wait a really long time trying to find someone who would speak english but that took us around 20 minutes. Overall, it was a decent stay but I wouldn't recommend it to others.

This was my second stay at this hotel in a year. Great accomodations and rooms. The only issue I had was no wireless internet in the rooms and the wired was a bit erratic. They have a drinking water faucet in the rooms, food is great (both western and eastern) and the staff are very friendly and treat you like royalty. If you can get a corner room with a foyer/hallway, it is a little nicer and slightly more space. My rate was around $90 and it was better than rooms I paid $260 for during my trip. It is not brand new, but I was very satisfied with both of my stays there. Most of the staff speak very little english so be prepared. Usually there is someone around that speaks a reasonable amount of english so you shouldn't have any issues.

Room Tip: Try to get a corner room which has foyer/hallway with slightly more space for your luggage/clothes.

I have stayed twice at this hotel, a classic business hotel for China without any differentiation.
Rooms are indeed small as compared to the standard of the country.

The staff is amenable, however its english speaking level is pretty poor which can be an issue at times.
Breakfast is pretty Chinese...but with an effort to offer some international food and ingredients (pastries have yet to reach a decent level).

Let's face it, there is not much choice of quality hotel in Wuxi, and this is probably the place to stay

Room Tip: Request non smoking room.

I have been twice, one month each on this great hotel. Its unsurpassed level of service, cleanlinness and comfortable accomomdation make me return. Main Concierge Mr. Andy Zhang gentlemanie is second to none. Only weaknesses are the lack of enough English speaking personnel and small gym.

Stayed here for a night with the GAT China vacation tour, pretty nice, though the room was a bit small compared with the other hotels we stayed at in China. The restaurant served a good dinner.

Stayed in a room in the building one, average room size, has shower stall but no bath tub, excellant bath room amenities and clean. Nice large pool( mandaory swiming cap required). Exercise room is extremely lacking: two tread mills , one working reclining bike, a 1960's rower ( not usable) , a 1960's step machine, no mats for sit ups, some chrome free weights. I stay here as part of a tour package for one night, if I were on business I would question their five star rating as having a good exercise room after a long day of work is important to me.
