“I liked the undeveloped version better”
Reviewed 8 July 2014

Binhai lu used to be almost a bit of wild undeveloped nature area. Not so anymore. You have great views of the sea, and greenery and flowers. Now this looks more like a park, or resort. Nice enough, and there are now clean beaches and a fair amounts of restaurants and coffee shops to use along the way. If you are in Dalian, it is worth to come here.

“Only if you nothing else to do”
Reviewed 18 May 2014 via mobile

We commenced the walk at Zinghai Square and by Fujiazhuang Park we were over it. Not much to see other than the side of a road and a very average coastline with a dirty looking pebble/sand beach. Construction work is also underway on a new bridge which obscures a lot of the view to the ocean, but if you are interested in bridge building, this may be the best part to see.

Perhaps it would be nicer at a different time of year, but if you have an extra day to kill then you are much better going to Lushun to learn about the Russian / Japanese occupation of the area.

“15km of wildness”
Reviewed 8 May 2014

Very nice walk, at any time of the year. Easily accessible from the city or directly from the main Xinghai squaare. Very beautiful seaview, especially in autumn and winter. Can be foggy in summer and crowded in the weekend. One of the nicest places of Dalian.

“Remarkable sea view”
Reviewed 22 April 2014

This is a long road alongside the sea and it has two parts, the east binhai road and the best binhai road. You can walk on the road or travel on the tour bus. The scenery is excellent. When you walk on the road, you are between the trees, grass and seaview. It's quite and when you put up with your camera, you can see good picture in you camera. In summer evenings, around 8 O'Clock, if you are lucky, you can see a big moon rise upon the sea. The moonlight shines on the sea, the big stone create big figures and the sea vocie is so beautiful.
