Stayed here first week of June on a business trip. The hotel location is ok. There is a restaurant and a minimart about 3 min walk. Shangrila Hotel is about 5 min walk. Carrefour is about 15 min walk and food street (with lots of local bbq and eateries) is about 25 min walk. Train station is about 20min taxi ride.

The room is well equipped an clean: flat screen tv, full stationery, fridge, hairdryer, etc. They have filtered drinking water in the room. Internet is only via cable. There is no wifi at all in the room, you have to go to the lobby to get wifi connection.

My biggest problem was with the air conditioning. The central air conditioning was not turned on during my stay (it was around 18-25c during my stay), Even with the room aircon switch turned on, it blew only room temperature air. We called and complained, but they could not do anything about it except provide us with a portable fan.

I have to compliment their service. The staff are friendly and responsive.

The air condition in the room was horrible and the bed as hard as rock. Rooms was clean. That was the only plus point.

next to the Shangri la, this is a sorta 4 star local hotel. Check-in was average, 99% never make you feel welcome. I got a suite, with a seperate living room room, 2 flat screen tvs etc, and thankfully a standing shower in the room. It looks too flimsy though. Didn't try the breakfast as I rushed off for a meeting, but doubt I missed much. Didn't get a seaview so this review didn't get any more than 3 stars
