The neighborhood around the temple is either modernized or currently under construction, but even the occasional bursts of pile drivers from outside don't detract from the temple's relaxed and cozy vibe. The best part is probably the popular canopied teahouse on the premises. We visited on the tomb-sweeping day, so it was absolutely full. We consumed our snacks from the excellent cake shop outside the temple's gate while simply sitting on the shaded railings, like many people did. The ticket to the temple cost 3 yuan.
