Stayed here a couple of years ago as part of a tour of china. The hotel was very friendly the staff were always there to help. On arrival we were greeted with a welcome that included a present from the hotel of a scarf. The rooms were of a good size and clean and tidy and well kept.

The panda sanctuary is not far and well worth a visit, you get to see more than panda's although seeing so many pandas in a zoo type location of all ages is great

Chose this hotel on a bit of a whim and was very pleased with the stay. The staff is welcoming and very helpful. Breakfast is delicious with a myriad of choices. The business suites are spacious but the floor had a wee bit of dust. For the price it was well worth it. Will most definitely be staying here again!

Often stay here and the hotel is quite centrally located. Very elegent furnishings in public areas, has a lovely bar off of the lobby area ,Breakfast offers good variety.. .
Rooms are very comfortable with all mod cons including safe and mini bar. free wi -fi
Beds so lovely and soft great nights sleep one of the best .Only downside poor lighting in rooms.
Be careful of slippy marble floors throughout especially bathrooms and lobby areas.

We stayed here two nights as part of a tour, and it was a nice hotel. The beds were soft, the linens clean, and the room was quiet. The wifi was a bit slow, but not as much as other hotels. As we were with a large group, it seemed that there were too many of us for the elevator at times, but that is a pretty minor complaint.

The breakfast was terrific - especially if you want to try various Chinese items. My children and I had a great time trying new foods and finding new ones to love. The tofu custard was excellent! They had plenty of Western selections if your tastes run that direction, and one of the better fruit selections on our trip. The dining area was fun as it was partially surrounded by a koi pond.

We ate at the attached Korean restaurant and had a terrific meal. Their kimchi pancake was so good, we came back a second time and ordered it again!

I have to say that I'm surprised to see that the TianFu Sunshine Hotel has a 3 1/2 star satisfaction rating as we were very pleased with our stay here. We only stayed two nights as part of a tour, but we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The hotel was clean and comfortable, with the softest beds we experienced on our tour. To be honest, it all blurs together after a while, but I can remember nothing with which I was dissatisfied at this hotel. We had a non smoking room that smelled like a non smoking room should- so that was terrific! The bath was nice and had everything we needed. And the rooms were nice and quiet.

The breakfast buffet was plentiful and more than adequate with many good choices whether one chose to eat local food or Western specialties. They had nice fruits and juices, and service was good.

All in all, no complaints from us! We would happily stay here again.

Stayed here 3 nights of our tour arrived early as we came by train fro Lhasa but were given a well deserved breakfast. we came back later and checked in the room was clean and comfortable and nicely furnished. Staff polite but changing money they would only take new bills even ones with a little number written not accepted. The WI-fi is very slow in the rooms. Ate there twice once in the restaurant upstairs and once in the Korean one both were OK. over all we had an enjoyable stay

Stayed 2 nights during a central China trip - room was as we requested - non-smoking. Room was generally clean and reasonably fresh. Bed was not as hard as usual China beds so I was pleased. All amenities were available and the food areas well done. Buffet breakfast was very good, but the service a little slow - sit yourself and get your own coffee!! Centrally located to attractions, it was a good base for our group. A good hotel for China although not 5 star by western standards. Still, a very comfortable and pleasant stay.

Room Tip: Don't be afraid to ask for what you need/want if it was not provided first.
