I think it's very good location for travellers. With this budget, the room has very good condition. The room is clean, good support from officers. We called them many times on the way for their support of language. We also have the rental car from their travel office and the price is better a lot than we expected. We also have the luggage deposit (for 4 days to Jiuzhaigou) for free.

This place is pretty good. It's got fairly clean rooms and bathrooms. The service is fine. I slept well.

Reservation was for a double, confirmed via email, but only had twins. All the windows were open while it was rainy and 30 degrees outside, even in our room when we walked in. Heater worked very hard but never got warm in the room, especially when our room (but not our friends' room) required the key for the electricity to work; every time we left the room, it would get cold and damp again. Nasty sewage smell coming up from the drain that no amount of incense they burnt covered it. Ordered the 20 kuai breakfast with egg, bacon, toast, tea, and fruit; everything was cold! The butter wouldn't even spread! When I sent it back, it came back just as cold. Bacon was barely cooked. Friend ordered bacon and cheese hamburger: no beef, just bacon, cheese, lettuce, and semi-frozen bun. Was told they had no beef, then someone else ordered a burger after her and they got beef. Third floor room we were in was directly over some kind of music lounge that started loud floor-shaking music at 8:30 in the morning till 10:30 at night. Great for our sleeping two year old son.

All in all, not worth the 130 (let alone the normal 150) a night. Glad it was only for two nights.

This is definitely one of the most expensive youth hostel in China! It cost us RMB180 per night for a 3-bedded-room. The breakfast sets are a bit pricey too. Besides, you have to pay for using the computers. (WIFI is free though)
Overall, the hostel still consider clean. I love the garden at 4th floor. Great place for breakfast/reading/relaxing.
Most importantly, the location is great! It is just 5 minutes walk away from WuHouCi and JinLi. Taxi and bus stands are just outside of the hostel. There are a lot of great food within walking distance too!

Youth hostel to avoid absolutely. The price is higher than any 3 star Hotel, and many rooms are very noisy because of the disco located just below (karaoke until midnight in the evening, and music starting from 9 in the morning).
Personnel very impolite.
Don't be attracted by the so-called travel packages and the name "youth hostel" ! You can find the same offers in the street located just 5 minutes from de the hostel called Jin Li.
Apart from that, you cannot use the phone in any room; you have to go at the front desk to give a call (so very unconvenient).
To sum up, go to any business hotel (Home Inn or Hanting are perfect) you will find a better service than there !

Fairly nice hotel with reasonable but limited food. The main problem was that in December it was just too cold. The heating was through an air conditioner that went off when you left the room and therefore the room was always cold on coming back from a day out. Had great difficulty checking in due to booking a Chinese room for 3 days but changing to a standard for 5. Seemed to take a long time to get to grips with. Staff were very helpful on the whole though and made us feel welcome.
