This hotel was closed and i was moved to another hotel less quality and not in the Jr suite I payed for. No on apologize no one cared. We were in contact with this hotel the day before arrival arranging airport transfer and was never told it was closed. They ruined my vacation and they don't care

Room tip: this hotel is closed for renovations so they say though they continue to take reservations

A boutique hotel of 9 rooms set around a pool. Rooms are lovely, large bathroom, great bed and quiet. Breakfast is served in a dining area upstairs. Well located but as you enter from the street you feel you are escaping into a haven. Pool is a great place to relax in the afternoon heat of Cartagena. Stay are friendly, helpful but also unobtrusive.Would definitely recommend.

Room tip: We were on the ground floor next to the pool but still very quiet.

Arrived at this hotel late at night and was completely taken by everything that this hotel is. It used to be someone's palace in the 1600's, the owners tried to keep it as true to how it might have looked like back then as possible. There's a pool in the center, the rooms upstairs overlook the pool area, there's a gorgeous dining area in which breakfast to order is served every morning. There is a hammock hanging upstairs in the common area for a siesta if desired. The place so much reminded me of Gabriel Garcia Marquez novels, even before I knew that he lived in Cartagena. The service is great, the staff is helpful and the place is secure, with entry only via a locked gate. Its location is in the center of everything. When we arrived there was a big party with a live band less than 100 meters from the hotel, but as soon as we stepped in we could not hear the music, incredible.

We walked in to this hotel and fell in love. After a poor AirBnB experience, we cancelled and stayed at this hotel. It was a great decision. The staff was attentive, always helpful and so friendly. We spent much of the day laying by the pool and sipping mojitos. It is a wonderful quiet retreat. I would stay here again and again.
