At the heart of Getsemani ,Cartagena about 10 minutes walk from the old city walls. The boutique hotel is situated in a wonderfully decorated colonial house. Breakfast was served in the open patio. The pool on the roof is a real gem. it's almost a miracle, how did they planned the rooms in the space.
Sometimes you fill like being in an enchanted labyrinth of eclectic architecture .
Few of the rooms can be uncomfortable - a room with steep stairs leading to the small 'bedroom". In another room the water wasn't war enough.
After wall- a very positive experience.

There are not enough words to describe this wonderful hotel: beautiful colonial building that maintains all the tradition combined with the comfort of an upscale boutique hotel; superb personalized service from the hotel staff who will make you feel at home; perfect location as per it is located inside the historical walled city in the Getsemani neighborhood and close to all of Cartagena's main attractions; rooms are spacious and very comfortable and beautifully decorated; their rooftop swimming pool area has some of the best breathtaking views of the city; breakfast at their awesome patio which combines nature and beautiful arquitectural design and the excellent food served was one of my favorite things. I am definitively coming back to this hotel whenever I have the chance of visiting this amazing city again.

In the Old city on a small side street. You’d miss it, if you weren’t aware it was there as no large signage. From outside looks like a well-kept house however only after entering do you realize it is larger and actually seems to be built by converting 2 or 3 houses. Area is a mix of old houses and refurbished ones which are still traditional, some turned into hotel. Area is clearly undergoing an uplift. Though a mix of people, felt very safe and only a 7 min walk to Clock Tower.
Not a large hotel, but offer breakfasts and lots of amenities found in larger ones. Eclectic, quaint and has a Morrocan style. Warm and luscious interior. Little rhyme or reason to layout, but that’s what gives it uniqueness. You meander through hallways, across streams and up stairs to get around.
Every room is different, many with lofts. Some have exposed brick which works well. Note: If natural lighting is important, ensure you request a room with large exterior windows as some offer large windows to interior. Rooms are tastefully decorated. Each layout is quite different, unlike those of a hotel chain.
Rooftop offer two small pools and comfortable lounges, broken up so can usually find a comfortable place to relax.
Staff are very friendly and accommodating. 24 hr attendance.
A dog friendly hotel. Would suggest the hotel would be best suited for couple, groups of singles and families with older children. Don’t think families with small children or people with any problems with stairs would enjoy it as much.

Room Tip: Ask for a room with exterior views

Very elegant place with unique suites. Ask for Lola Flores, it's a two level suites--not so much more expensive than others--with decoration worthy of a museum. Everything is high end and very creative.
