The room was very nice and spacious, as well as the bathroom. The hotel breakfast is extra but it is so worth it! It had a wonderful selection. I recommend to pay for the breakfast while booking the room because it's less expensive if you book it in advance.
The hotel pool was large and warm, and the jacuzzi was great too. There was a nice seating area as well.
The location was great because it was right in front of the outlets so I had a wonderful time shopping. It was a 10 min walk to the beach and boardwalk, which went by quickly and there was so many nice shops along the way. The beach was absolutely beautiful and there was so much to do on the boardwalk.

I am a President of a large company and my wife is an executive at Starbucks. We live in hotels m- f almost every week. As such, i contacted the ops director at the Atlantic City Sheraton to make sure our visit was flawless as we were ariving after a red-eye at 5am. We were traveling with kids so I needed a connecting room and suite. I needed to make sure the room was ready and we would not be disturbed. I also needed a late check out at 4pm as we were only to be in the room from 7am -4 pm before our rental house was ready. We just wanted to crash and not be disturbed. Upon arrival The front desk manager was confrontational and was to have keys ready for us to grab. He argued with me in front of guest and told me "he sent me an email saying my cc on file was declined". Not sure why as I had changed it on my account. Not sure why it didn't stick. I was traveling so there is no way I would of gotten it. I would suggest calling and or texting next time. Email isn't always a great way to communicate urgent matters. Some how it was my fault. I clearly stated to both Jeff and this manager that we didn't want to be disturbed. Several times my wife and I were awoken by cleaners entering our room. We were not granted late check on one of our rooms (the kids room). We were told they were "overbooked" and couldn't grant 4 pm but 2 was the best they could do. I was being held hostage so what was I to do. Anyway, well before 2pm like us the kids got woken up by housekeeping over and over and then were harassed to get out of there early. Then they never cleaned it while after we vacrated the room at 2. Last time we stayed there we got a VIP suite "presidential". This time they wanted to charge us an additional 35 k on top of Our two rooms. I was told we got the nicest room upon check in. I was told this room was "special for VIP's" and not a room they ever give out or even have on some list of rooms for us to use. Bad service and poor information to be sharing with a Platinum member WHO IRONICALLY HIT 50 HIT 50 nights on this visit. I am trying to move away from SPG to Hilton by still hit 50 nights by August. I want to leave because we are not treated well. I had an issue last weekend in Portland. I wanted to make sure I got focus and attention so I reached out to the magager for help. He just ignored me and passed me off to the rude hotel manager and didn't Take ownership for our stay like I had asked. Many times managers put things in our room for my wife and kids. Somehow I am often left out. Here's we were all left out. NotHint. No note or any welcom gift and a crappy stay with a crappy room and crappy service. I guess this is what happens when you reach out for help like I was told to do when I complained about my last stay. So, the escalation and review process doesn't work either. Still waiting for a call from corporate. We are to stay here again on Wednesday for our 19 yr wedding anniversary. Needless to say I am concerned about our upcoming visit, room type and service level. I had about 100,000 points I would love to use but they seem like they don't Cary much weight or value as the SPG program states. This is aloe true about the platinum level status. We should of been given the suite upgrade I asked for instead of being told "you are not a VIP and this room is only for VIP's".

After spending one night at the Tropicana with a 6-year old, I needed a change - fast. So I booked a room at the Sheraton. I knew it wasn't on the boardwalk of course and no casino which is great. It is also oh so very close (e.g. a block away) to the outlet stores.

Hotel- I liked the Miss America theme, yes it can be cheesy for some but it's different, and it's done with taste. They have original gowns worn by past contestants and even crowns (museum style). And my room had a picture of a past contestant, and she seemed so happy, and it made me happy. I think all the rooms have their own individual pictures which is a thoughtful touch. The lobby is spacious and impressive.

Pool- the pool is indoors, and the jacuzzi is outside. The pool is modest in size and 4ft at its max. The place was chic and clean; you have to walk through the fitness center to get there. By the way, the fitness center was big but mostly cardio machines.

Room- great, a basic 3.5 to 4-star room with all the standards (wi-fi, coffee, tv, comfy bed, etc.,).

Location- The Sheraton is not on the boardwalk, and I don't recommend walking to it, although it's doable, I'm thinking 5 to 6 blocks. The hotel is connected to the AC convention center (see pics).

Parking- my only complaint would be parking since I've never had to pay for it in AC if I'm a guest at a hotel. Parking gets validated except for here. I paid 17 dollars for self-park. If you want to valet, that would cost you 30 (at the Tropicana for example, it's 10 dollars but free if you are staying at the hotel and have a member rewards card which you can get for free). I think this is a steep parking fee especially since there were no conventions happening. The convention center was empty. Maybe when AC was hopping this parking fee was fair, but now with the current state of things (i.e., all the hotel/casino closings) parking fees should not apply.

Here's the kicker: public parking was 15 dollars, so I paid more to stay at the hotel, 2 dollars more. I'm sure they have their reasons; maybe public parking is not as secure. But all parking is inside the convention center lot, so I don't get it.

All in all, I would rather pay for parking and stay here rather than the boardwalk because it was better for a family stay. My daughter shouldn't have to walk through a cigarette- smelling casino to get to her hotel room. But of course, I knew that.

Thanks!

Room tip: The hotel is not on boardwalk so don't expect an ocean-view.

We stayed here overnight as an ending to our wildwood vacation.
Parking is also across the street in the convention center parking garage. This is not convenient when you have a large amount of luggage or kids. It's best to pull up to the hotel unload and check in then go park your vehicle for $17 a day in garage. At night the parking garage is deserted. You will then need to continue through the closed and partially darkened convention center across the street to the hotel.
The hotel lobby is beautiful, it has replicas of all the miss America pageant winners dresses and shoes. There is also an overpriced convenience type store (regular size candy bar was $2.39)that serves Starbucks coffee and drinks . There are outlets and restaurants with in walking distance so you don't need to drive unless you want to. The hotel is actually in walking distance to the boardwalk however once you pass the outlets you need to continue through a shady looking part of town that doesn't look so inviting. So I would hop in a cab, drive or take the little shuttle that is offered across the street at the convention center.

So about our stay, the hotel is supposed to be pet friendly, however when you arrive to check in you're provided this long document which you must sign that pretty much indicates you should not leave your dog unattended in the room, if your dog is overly noisy they will be removed from the room and you will be asked to leave with out a refund.
Also unless your dog is solely potty pad trained you will need to go all the way down stairs, through the lobby and across the street to a small grassy garden area every time they have to go. This is the first time we didn't board or dog so I'm unsure if this is the norm when traveling but to me it doesn't seem all that pet friendly.
The room was clean, however the beds seemed small. Our tub was peeling and every time the toilet flushed it shook and made a loud noise. Our view from the 7th floor was okay, we could see the convention center, highway and the borgata off in the distance.

The workout area has all current machines, warm towels and plenty of mats for stretching and floor exercises. The indoor pool is small but serves its purpose and there is a hot tub outside.

So was the place horrible ? No, it's clean and all employees we encountered were very nice. Would I stay here again ? Probably not, especially if we were traveling with our dog.
