If you are a walker and fed up with mainstream standard things im Atlantic City, try the boardwalk and have fun at the same time

Nice boardwalk, multiple restaurants and shops, some things are kind of out dated. Kid friendly. Good time

By day, you can walk around safely. You also can pay to ride by tram cars or hand push carts for a reasonable fee. But, **safety** issue, our hotel told us not to walk after sunset.. for a number of reasons..

The boardwalk, from what I understood, is about 7 miles long and there is a tram that covers about two and a half miles of it. It is a phenomenon in itself and fun to stroll along, with plenty of shops, food choices and casinos to visit. It is disturbing to see how many of the casinos have closed or are empty, but the Taj is being renovated as we speak. Good access to the beach - again another nice place to stroll. Some homeless people and we did not venture out at night, but a must see non the less.
