Not often that a hotel lives up to the hype, but Borgata does. It's laid out very well and the service is really top notch. Loved the shower! The room was quiet and comfortable and there are plenty of places to eat from cafeteria to fancy sit down like Old Homestead and Bobby Flay.

Room Tip: $9.95 for the wi-fi is the only drawback. Revel gives it for free and there's no reason to charg...

This hotel was huge and fantastic. I'd like to think it had the best casino with the best restaurants. Wolfgang Puck was outstanding. If I remember correctly it was a $28 dollar cab ride to the hotel from the airport. The casino does hit jackpots, while we were walking back from Wolfgang Puck we saw a guy who hit $605,000 on a slot machine. Free WIFI on the casino level only. If you want to get WIFI in the room you have to pay. Take the Jitney (pardon my spelling if that is not correct), its 2.50 cents to ride and stops at every casino. Also, make sure you have enough money for a deposit. They require a deposit at time of check-in. You do get the deposit back but for 3 nights mine was a little over $500.

Ok so this place is great for the money but let me go in depth on a few things

1. This could just be me but I spent the better part of 20 minutes navigating the parking garage for a spot.
2. The lockbox in my room was extremely tiny.
3. The fridge is hidden in the dresser somewhere (good luck)

Now the good things. I like how if you want fun and good food/drinks you only have to go down the elevator and you don't have to drive all over the city. This place I would want to aim at people who are over 21 years of age cause there is pretty much nothing to do for people below except sit in the room and watch ESPN. (That's what my 17 year old sister did the whole weekend)

Room Tip: Choose rooms on lower floors (1-25) because if you go any higher you'll be in the elevator for 1...

We had a 2 night comp stay and were given a room on 30th floor.Checked in early, line took about 20 minutes.Representive at desk couldn't have been nicer.I asked to switch from king bed to 2 queens due to last minute change when hubby couldn't come.Very pleasant and professional. Room had nice view of city and bay.Very clean. Casino was hopping and lively.Broke even at slots and kept me playing all night.Got coffee several times at Bread and Butter.Coffee good and small pastries available. Only not impressed with the morning workers who were more interested in talking among themselves than their customers. Good dinner at Metropolitan one night and a little disappointed in the Old Homestead the next night which usually is awesome.Played Bingo which was fun and a good way to kill an hour.Pool is below par.it is indoors and loaded with kids.Water looked cloudy and just not a relaxing vibe.Water Club much nicer for adults at pool.Overall good visit and would rate Borgata as one of the best in AC.

We stated here for the Florida Georgia Line Concert at the Boardwalk Hall overnight. It wasn't a bad experience. The hotel was nice and clean. We waited a long time to check in though, it was busy because of the Kentucky Derby being the same weekend. The staff was very accommodating. The hotel was large and you could get lost in it. The bathroom was clean, the bedroom was clean. The hotel is beautiful to look at.
We ordered room service at night for dinner since it was too late to get into a restaurant by the time we got back to our room. I was a little disappointed by the room service. I got a turkey club and I thought the turkey would have been at least real turkey but it seemed to be more on the lines of lunchmeat. I was a little disappointed by it. We did get some really good house made chips. I can't really say it was my favorite place to say or that it was really anything memorable or remarkable.

A large group of us booked several rooms to see a show over the 4th weekend of July. We stressed when booking the rooms that we want them all together and were confirmed that it would not be an issue. Upon arrival, this did not happen. Not the worst thing, granted. The group of us decided that we would visit "one of the pools" as stated on the website. Come to find out the Borgota only has ONE pool, located indoors and we WERE NOT ALLOWED to access any other pools located at the attached facility. We tried to make the best of it and decided to order cocktails and relax. Come to find out that they only serve Fosters and Coors Light and cheap wines. Then we were told that if we did not return our towels to the desk we would be charged for them. Not even a cheap hotel with less "said" class does that!

Getting ready for our night out, we found that our shower and sink would not drain. When asked for help, we were told someone would come and repair but no one showed up.

The venue was good, but very short for what we paid. We were constantly being told to sit down by the attendants. Who sits at a concert?

If you are going to a venue here, I suggest staying elsewhere. Not impressed at all. And to be honest I will not return again.

Good luck!

Room Tip: Go elsewhere

We stayed at Borgata for 4th of July 2014 and it was fantastic. The fireworks were one of the best we ever saw and as usual the staff and everything offered at Borgata did not disappoint. I have to say that some people that go expect too much from the workers to the point of being very rude. We witnessed that. I just want to say to people out there, be considerate. These people do their best and Borgata in general will do everything in their power to make your stay a happy one. The rooms are great as usual and the buffet is very good. Try the pasta bar and get a fresh plate of pasta done to your liking. That was enough to eat right there. Also for a quick breakfast there is no place better than Bread and Butter. They are quick and the food is very good. Also Metropolitan is a great sit down restaurant for breakfast or dinner. We love Borgata and can't wait to go back. There is no other hotel/casino in A.C. that comes close.

Room Tip: All rooms give a great view depending on what you want to see. If you want to see the Boardwalk side...
