“great for kids!”

Atlantic City Aquarium Historic Gardner's Basin
Attraction details
Reviewed 24 May 2012

This venue did not hold much for adults, however, for kids it would be great. It is small with only about 30 tanks/pens for exhibits. It has a very small observation deck that doesn't even boast the best view :-) Price is definitely in align with value.

The Aquarium is very small but educational. Touch tank is great for the kids.

Smaller place than expected. A real bonus though if you have younger children. Lots of touch-tanks. Had a chance to feed sting rays and pet a small shark.

Price of $8 wasn't bad, a coupon for $1 off if you remember it. Great to have the touch tanks; made the visit worth the stop. Very small good for those never experience touching a shark, star fish, sea urchin, crab or ray. Depending on your kids it's either fastinating with respect to nature or will be outright boring. If you have played in tide pools before and have handled star fish and such the kids might find this boring. The turtle was good to see but did Have a habit of swimming in the corner. My teens and I enjoyed seeing excitement of toddlers at the touch areas and had a good time. It would be great to have people giving information at the touch areas with breaks for the fish in the ray and shark area.
