It truly is the cheapest seaside accomodation in Croatia, but whateve price they give you - be informed that there will be tourism taxes added to it on the spot.
It's best to arrive by car, but you can also come there by bus, camping is located between Opatija and Rijeka and there are a lot of buses passing by Preluk.
When choosing a place to put up a tent, consider the fact that roadside is noisy (there is a road, and also a go-cart thing accross the road, which is also quite noisy and is open till midnight or something.
Also, if you place your tent too close to the beach, it won't be very quiet either - youngsters tend to gather up on the beach at night, to drink, and chat and have all sorts of noisy fun.
So choose thoughtfully, or bring earplugs.
Camping offers trailer-houses with some fenced land areas around them for rent, but for a long term rent only (so you cannot rent one for your two-week trip, you'll have to rent one for a year and then visit as often as you wish, and they often are all rented out, so plan ahead). Such trailer-houses have electricity. Not sure about water though.
There are public showers and toilets.
WIFI is available around the central office of the camping, but there are only a few electic sockets and chairs around so come early, if you want to use them.
All in all, you get what you pay for. :)
Rijeka and Opatija are both lovely cities, you can also visit Kvarner beaches not too far away (bus connection), or go to Ucka National Park (go with a car, it's a looooooong way up a very huge mountain).
Beaches in the area a rocky, not sandy, so if your feet are too sensitive, you may want to buy these special swimming shoes, so you don't have to step on the rocks barefoot.
