It needs a little TLC but it is fine for a nights stay. The staff were friendly, the advice for local dining spot on. Yes it could do with a bit of a re-refurbishment, but the Breakfast is good, and the rooms adequate. The rooms to the front i.e. harbour facing are quirt, the trains run close to the back of the hotel so avoid them if you are a light sleeper..

The views are great and there is plenty of hot water and the Air-con works fine. overall not a bad stop.

The beds were on the firm side but that suits me fine, Second visit here in 5 days

Room Tip: Front or harbour side is best

Stayed there for 1 night (thank goodness not longer). Room #126 on the 12th floor - dirty (very dirty carpet, walls, ceiling, bathroom and even AC). Noisy (on the back of the building is the railroad, and trains go every 20 min or so and you hear it very well). Room is next to an old elevator which makes a strange sound every time it passes, and you hear it, every time. Not mentioning the neighbors who are passing the room or waiting for the elevator, hear them just as well as if they are talking next to you.
Positives: free wifi (a bit slow at times though), free car parking in the garage (although there is no elevator to reception, instead an unpleasantly smelly trip up the staircase to elevators and reception), AC, and breakfast (it's a plus that it's included, but the breakfast itself is on the edge of being poor, selection was ok, but the only drinkable thing there was, was water, everything else is artificially yukky).

Refurbished, very clean, very small rooms. But unbelievable view from the higher floors (the name translates to "Skyscraper"). The bay view (even from the bathrooms on higher floors and sea-facing) is beyond amazing! Good breakfast, but with a big problem - no real coffee served, just coffee-like grain substitute - this is one leftover from socialist times. And the smell of breakfast drifts up towards the rooms from the restaurant floor, this was actually my only pet peeve there.

Room Tip: Ask for sea facing room!

The room and breakfast were what you would expect for price. Was surprised that on the 10th floor had great water pressure and plenty of very hot water. The drawback was that both means to access Internet were down 3 of the 4 evenings and 2 mornings. Sometimes staff could restore but often not. View of harbor and old part were nice

the hotel is in the average: positive for location, parking in their garage, breakfast and price.
very kind and helpful staff, who garanteed me a silence room at 10° floor with sea view and made me satisfied for every request.
The hotel would need a refresh and, overall, it is not possible for a 3 stars hotel to offer liquid soap only in the bathroom.
Our stay was just a stop on the way for our holidays and not for holiday itself, so it could work for that.

Room Tip: superior rooms are overlooking the sea but, for a silence room, you should choose an higher floor as...

It has a great location, close to the international bus station and easy to access by car coming from the southern direction of the E65. The superior room that we had gave a great view over the port, harbour and the old town. Breakfast was very good, fresh with good variety and the staff helpful and friendly. There are some aspects of the building that show it's age such as the lifts and some of the carpets but these were superficial and should not affect your enjoyment of this hotel. It seemde to accomodate groups including school groups well. Beware Rijeka is a challenge with a car due to one way streets and a historical road layout and although you can park temporarily outside the hotel, when they say that you can access the hotel car park "just around the block", clarify which block and exact directions or it could take you half an hour and some fancy map work. Better to get someone to hold up the traffic while you reverse 10 meters!

Room Tip: Ask for a room on a higher level facing the port

Clean rooms, decent bathrooms, but it's quite noisy, the staff is not über friendly, the wifi is a bit rubbish, the air conditioning does work really well and for the price and a 3 star hotels the rooms are a bit small, no mini bar which but I never had a mini bar in a Croatian hotel, the location is okay though
