The view from the top is great, but make sure to visit the beaches on the "backside" -- the side away from the parking lot and all the people! Very idyllic.

I loved the views across the bay. I would advise a trip in the morning or late afternoon as the mid-day sun can be brutal.

Great view and a nice walk......go early morning or just before dusk to avoid the heat of the day.
If you pay your taxi driver $10-15 they will wait for you at the base and take you back to your accommodation....most trips in Dili will cost you no more than $2....Worth the $$'s as it is hard ro find a cab once you are out there

This is definitely the place to visit in Dili.
The statue of Jesus is in the most prominent spot with sensational views all around.
Best to do the climb in the morning as it gets so hot and humid later on in the day.
The climb is not a difficult one especially the first 300 of so steps.
