“Great spot for wildlife”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 27 April 2014

La Loberia is easy accessed from the town of Puerto Baquerizo Moreno. We got a taxi (very easy to find) for $2. (You can ask the taxi to return and pick you up at a designated time). From the taxi drop off it is only a 10 minute walk across the beach to La Loberia. We walked past lots of marine iguanas sitting on the rocks, then past sealions including some pups. Whilst snorkelling we saw sea turtles and lots of fish and some more playful sealions got in the water too. It is a great spot for seeing wildlife up close (but you need to remember not to touch!). We even returned in the afternoon and saw different wildlife. The beach does close at 6pm.

“Swimming with Sea Turtles”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 5 February 2014

This small beach is worth trekking in to. It is even more worthwhile trekking past the beach to the cliff about 50 minutes further on to see the Blue-Footed Boobies and other nesting birds. Swimming with the Sea Turtles is a marvelous experience. There are a million colorful fishes. The water is warm. It is like swimming in a gigantic aquarium.
