The hotel is small and quiet. It is run by the family that lives there. The only negative would be the breakfast could be varied slightly. We were there for a week so we chose to go out toward the end of our stay. Other than that, it had decent internet for the area, (nowhere has great internet) The rooms are cleaned daily to perfection! If you need anything, Maria will do her best to assist! Loved it!

Well located a little way from the port. Clean and nice but not exceptional. Felt a little overpriced. Water and AC stopped working during the night, which was bothersome, although we received a 20% discount, after asking for it :-(. Breakfast was below average.

This hotel is probably not designed for the typical tourist, but perhaps for local business in the town of Puerto Ayora on the Island of Santa Cruz, Galapagos, Ecuador. It is very clean, run by what appeared to be a family and located just a couple of blocks uphill from the main tourist center in town.

While visiting Puerto Ayora, we needed to find a good internet connection. We asked this hotel if we could use theirs, and they graciously allowed us to do so. While inside, they showed us some rooms in the hope we would stay. (We were on a cruise, so we didn't need the room.) They asked for $3 per person for the room with four beds. (no, that is not a typo.) The rooms were very plain and light and clean. Hardly a word of English is spoken there, but everyone was very friendly and kind.

If you are looking for a simple, inexpensive, clean place to sleep without much by way of services, this hotel might fit the bill for you. Nice people, clean facilities, great internet connection.

First off I arranged my stay directly through their website which is very professional. There is a chat feature in which Byron( I believe is the owners son) walked me through everything including transfers. Dont overlook how important transfers are. you need to catch a bus, a ferry and then a taxi which can be overwhelming when you arrive. Sante fe's transfer guide was there waiting with my name and basically completely took care of me all the way to the hotel. The hotel is so charming as is the owner who greeted me on arrival. I chose to stay in a suite which was HUGE. It had a large fridge, microwave, oven, all utensils etc. Basically a condo. The bedroom had a King size bed and there was also a single bed in the room. The room was spotless it had, lcd tv a large newer air conditioning , nice firm bed. All one could ask for, The bathroom also was nice, it had a hair dryer and HOT water all the time. On the grounds there was a small pool and next to my room there was a large patio on the the third level. Breakfast was included. It was delicious. Every morning fresh fruits, yogurts, bread, cereals, eggs. You were treated very well here not as if you were a number. The location was perfect.nice and quiet yet 3 blocks away and you were on Charles Darwin Av. And if you go the opposite way down the street You MUST go to Tortuga Bay. The beach there is breath taking. The owners actually cared and went out of their way to do whatever they could to make your stay the best. To some it up in one word PRIDE comes to mind. They honestly Care about you and it shows in everything they do. I cant wait to go back.

Room Tip: Get a suite if you can afford a few more dollars. It is nice to have a fridge and some space to just...

We stayed here for the last night of our vacation in the Galapagos. It is a comfortable, clean hotel with friendly staff. The hot shower and thick towels were a treat! Our room had a nice kitchenette which would be convenient for a longer stay. A full breakfast is included. It is only a couple of blocks from the harbor and the center of town. We felt safe walking to dinner and shopping late at night.
It is a nice walk to Tortuga Bay.
If you're looking for the perfect hotel in Santa Cruz this is it!

Spent 3 nights here with some friends while doing topside excursions to other islands in the Galapagos. Nice family run place, good breakfasts. The property seems to be a collection of buildings connected together around a pool (which we just didn't have time to use) but the rooms were nice, beds comfortable, airco worked fine and good security dogs (LOL) who didn't bark all night. The hotel was arranged as a part of the package, so I didn't know what to expect, but we were all very happy. Some rooms had full kitchens included, although eating out in Puerto Aroya is way too much fun to stay in and cook.

My wife and I spent only one night at this hotel but all we can say is that is a very good choice if you want to visit Santa Cruz. We asked the owner to show us all the rooms (7) and there are large, very clean, with TV and air conditioning. Inside of the court there is a pretty nice pool if you are too lazy to go to the beach. Speaking of beach, this hotel is on the way to Tortuga Bay. One of the advantages of this hotel is that the owner is also the captain of Santa Fe III boat and he also have a travel agency downstairs. So it is very convenient to book excursions (and also diving gear) around the island.
