The location and the view are unsurpassable. However, the water heater will cause a skin burn if you don't turn it off from time to time, and the window air conditioning units don't work in the heat and humidity of the Ecuadorian weather. One thing to remark is the work of Nelly, the housekeeper. She is absolutely amazing and will make your stay comfortable. Internet speed is reasonable.

Stayed for a few days during high season in August. It was nice. The maid helped with the cleaning & cooking, which justified the additional costs. She was a great cook and help. Couldn't get the wifi to work, which is difficult to come by in salinas. We would definitely stay again . The owners are very helpful.

Condo was excellent. Very nice accommodations, attentive owner and daily service. While we did not have any meals cooked for us, Nelly was there every day to clean, do laundry and was ready to help in any way we asked (our only challenge was knowing how to ask in Spanish!). Security was there at all times and we felt very safe and pampered. Used the beach facilities daily, with a tent at the ready each time we went (we did carry down the beach chairs from the condo, they were much more comfortable than the standard chairs that are on the beach).

Owners were very responsive on all e-mails and requests and made call to us to ensure that we were being well taken care of.

Views were awesome and we left the sliding doors open most of the week. Was very pleasant to hear the water hitting the beach and the breeze through the condo kept us quite comfortable both day and night. I spent a ton of time in the hammock and can attest to the restfulness of that spot!

Plenty of options to grab lunch (ceviche is awesome most anywhere) and the SuperMaxi (large grocery store, pharmacy right beside) is only $2 cab ride. Had no problems finding cabs to get anywhere.

Condo is in the Chepippe area (3 minute walk from the "main" area) which, for our needs, was the better place to be. Beach is much larger and cleaner here and with the restaurants and bars only 3-5 minute walk away, was not an issue.

However the condo itself was not well kept up. The floor was very dirty as was the refrigerator and the kitchen. When we arrived the fan in the front bedroom did not work, my husband got stuck in one of the bathrooms as the door did not work, the hot water was not on and we did not discover that until the next day, their was no satellite TV as advertised and the internet was not working. Our host, Reyna was in Quito but did call to try and rectify the problems. She was very concerned and wanted to help. She got the internet and hot water working and the door fixed.
The daily services advertised were really just making the beds, doing the dishes and cleaning the bathrooms. While that was nice, we had hoped for more. There was no information on the area or the apartment which would have been helpful. Only two beach towels were offered and there were four of us. If someone in our party had not been fluent in Spanish, it would have been very difficult to communicate at all.
