Description: Rick and Sue's adventure on 7 Mile Island began 27 years ago when they took over the Fishin' Pier Grille located on 32nd Street in Avalon. The husband and wife duo's love affair with restaurants still runs strong after all these years as they continuously enjoy seeing the familiar faces of returning customers as well as the new comers each summer. Rick and Sue's grown children, Nicole Jones and Eric Montanari, are happily joining their parents in this new adventure of opening the Fishin' Pier Grille South in Stone Harbor this upcoming Spring. The family is looking forward to bringing the same reputation of great taste, service, and charm to their new breakfast spot.

This is our go to place for breakfast. It's popular and it's small with no more than 40 seats, so it may be crowded and you may have to wait. It's on the boardwalk at the beach so it can be a pleasant wait. The pancakes are great, plain or with fruit fillings. The big one will fill you with meats, pancakes, toast and home fries. Our favorite is the crab omelet with asparagus and tomato. Truly with a good serving of back fin lump crabmeat. A tasty variation is to substitute spinach for the asparagus. It's a little pricy but well worth it.

“Yummy! Great breakfast spot.”

This place is excellent for breakfast. Get the fruit bowl if you go. Coffee very good. Be careful - cash only, no credit cards.

“Great breakfasts , plenty of it”
Reviewed 12 June 2014 via mobile

We eat here every time we come to Stone Harbor. Have to get there early usually around 8 AM. Fast service, friendly folks and a family run business, which I really like. Our favorite is the Eggs McPier sandwich, two fried eggs, cheese and Taylor pork roll, along with delicious home fries. Please note that the home fries are always hot, spiced nicely and with a shot of Cholula hot sauce-just a little slice of heaven. Pancakes are as big as the plate. Our son had an Italian omelet on sub roll. His wife had scrambled eggs, home fries and toast. So many combos to choose from, so few days to taste. Don't miss this place!

“Great place for breakfast”
Reviewed 10 June 2014

I found this restaurant on trip advisor last year and we enjoyed it so much that we went back this year. In fact, we went back 3 times for breakfast. The pancakes are better than Uncle Bill's. I had the regular pancakes twice and had the butterscotch pancakes once. I should have asked but I was expecting more of a butterscotch sauce on top, instead it was butterscotch chips in the batter-i really didn't care for that. Anyway, that does not take away from the other pancakes. My daughter had the blueberry pancakes, which do have fresh blueberries in the batter. My boyfriend had the meat lovers' omelette twice and the eastern omelette on the third day. This place is adorable, well run, efficient and you will not be sorry that you tried it. Besides, a very good regular breakfast menu, they have a very large selection of specials everyday. They also offer a glass (nice size) of fresh squeezed orange juice for only $4.00. The fact that it is right on a boardwalk that you can walk off your breakfast is a great thing too. Go!

“Yummy breakfast! ”
Reviewed 19 May 2014 via mobile

Loved this quaint little place on the boardwalk. This weekend was our first time in Avalon and so our first time here. It's small and fills up fast but the food comes out even faster so the turnaround is quick as well. The pancakes are as big as the platter they're served on and the sausage links are huge. All staff was friendly. Will definitely return.
