My daughter stayed at Sea and C while my wife and I stayed at Dahab Paradise (highly recommended - see separate review).
From the moment we checked in - when they challenged the price for the booking even though I had a printout of their emailed confirmation of the price - I got the feeling that Sea and C staff were going all out to rip us off. The cocktails we had were poorly made, weak and nearly 3 times the price we paid in the centre of Dahab. The evening meal we had there on our daughter's first night was badly cooked and outrageously expensive. We tried to ask the price and they (the waiter's name was Ahmed) refused to tell us then said it would be nearly 700 egyptian pounds for fish for 3 people! This is well over double the price at Shark where the food, atmosphere and service are far superior. We eventually agreed to pay less (but still far too much) and even then he tried to add 12% for 'tax and service'. As if there was any service...
I strongly advise against Sea and C. Don't be tempted by apparent low prices - they'll try to rip more money out of you some how some way. .
