we stayed 10 days in this wonderful place. what can i say, it was perfect as always. Emily and Hany are the perfect hosts and very lovely people! they organized everything for us, starting from the pick up in Sharm, Beduine dinner, camel riding to Ras Abu Galum, horse riding to the laguna, and last but not least - Hany buying spices for me he uses for cooking :-)
you should also not miss to try every thing what he has on the menu of the restaurant, highly recommended is the moussaka, chicken curry and the chicken sandwich whith cheese.
the rooms are very clean and comfortable with a breathtaking view of the red sea. lovely breakfast included in the roomprice! if you like to relax a bit more Emily can organize also a massage for you, performed by the German physiotherapist Anne, you feel like new born afterwards. Thanks to everybody that made our holidays so special and wonderful - we will come back for sure!
PS: altough many political things are ongoing in Kairo, we felt very secure in Dahab

Just returned from 9 nights at El Primo and from the moment Emily and Hany welcomed us on our arrival it was all perfect. Nothing was ever too much trouble for them (including rescuing my other half from the bathroom in the middle of the night when he managed to lock himself in!) and when we couldn't organise a trip into the desert due to the lack of tourists there at that time, they arranged a special one just for us. It was magical and, as always, Hany's cooking was delicious! The room was incredibly clean, with a lovely ocean view, great air con and a very comfy bed. Eel Garden is by far the nicest part of Dahab and you can literally walk out of the hotel, onto the beach and straight into some amazing snorkelling (Emily has shoes and snorkels you can rent) and the rest of the town is only a 5 minute walk along the beach. When you're not eating at El Primo (and once you start it's difficult to stop...) Emily will tell you all of the best local (i.e. non-tourist) places to go - we had really great food (and no tummy troubles at all!) at all of the places she recommended. All in all I had to be torn away from Dahab and when I come back I will definitely be staying at El Primo again - it's the best hotel I've ever stayed at and that's mostly due to Emily and Hany being so lovely and caring so much that everyone has a wonderful time.

El Primo Hotel in Dahab is a great hotel. It's located in the quiet and most picturesque part of Dahab right along the water (which is an amazing turquoise colour). My room was VERY clean and comfortable with an ocean view. Emily and Heiney (sp) were fantastic hosts and very helpful. The breakfast is perfect (crepes, egg, fruit, bread, coffee, yogurt, etc.). The hotel also serves good food at other times of the day. The hotel also has a lounge area by the water, which is quite comfortable and a great way to pass the day under the shade of palm trees. For the value and level of service this place can't be beat in dahab.

What a lovely place and welcome. The guy that served us was charming ! Such a difference in the eel garden and assal areas where you are not hassled at all by over zealous and often rude waiters in the masbut area . Can highly recommend. the lentil soup and babaganoush with freshly made flat breads. We will definitely return for another meal and would seriously look at staying at the hotel if we come to Dahab again.

Just come back from 7 nights at El Primo. It was fantastic. My room was clean, comfortable bed, a great view, and very good air-conditioner! Emily and Hany were very friendly and helpful. I was traveling on my own, and they made me very welcome.
I had the most relaxing time. I most enjoyed sunbathing on the private beach area under the palm trees on big comfy cushions.
I recommend Hany to cook the grilled chicken- very nice! I had it twice!
I cant wait to go back!
