Situation in Egypt was very critical when we were on holidays there. Due to the riots, it was forbidden to leave hotel from 7pm to 6am. The trip was rescheduled, cancelled, planned again. But King Safari promised me the mount Sinai trip, and they really did it! We left at 5pm from the hotel - the pick-up was a bit late (not the company's fault). We were a nice group of 9 people. The driver was very good, that was a pleasant travel through the fantastic Sinai landscape. We arrive at the parking, were checked by security men, got a guide and started our climb. We climbed the mountain before noon and slept on the top till sunrise! Believe or not, it was only our group with a fantastic Bedouin guide Ahmed there!!! No crowds, no souvenir sellers. Just us, the mountain, the church, the mosque. Unbelievable, fantastic. We descended all the 3750 stairs - incredible views! Unfortunately, the St.Catherine monastery was closed (they said they had not been informed about tourists arrival that day, who know...). I would like to thank the King Safari for this experience, I am happy I choose the King Safari!
