I stayed at the Bedouin Moon Hotel for 1 week in December with my father. The room was a basic twin (the cheapest on booking .com about 1 week before), but it had everything we needed (fridge, air con, towels, shower, balcony) and still had a great view! The breakfast was really good (buffet with eggs, pancakes, fruit and other cooked things). We ate several times in the restaurant in the evening, the food was good and very convenient (as the hotel is a taxi ride/20 min walk from the main town).
All the staff were really friendly and helpful, at all times of the day. Whenever I asked them for something, it was there when I returned. On the last day they helped us by organising a taxi driver to stay with us the whole day and take us around Sharm el Sheikh and drop us at the airport.
The hotel was also good for meeting other people as many (most?) were travelling alone, so everyone was quite open to getting to know each other.
I also did some yoga at the hotel, which was good, with a dedicated yoga room.
Having been to Dahab before, I chose this hotel as it was well equipped for what I wanted to do (relax!). However, if you would prefer to be within walking distance of restaurants and shops, this is perhaps not the best place. But taxis are very cheap and available all the time.
