I originally booked for just one week, but liked Dive Urge so much I stayed for the whole holiday (two and a bit weeks). Ahmed was a great dive instructor, very thorough and friendly, and took the time to show me as many interesting dive sites as possible. Food and room perfect, very chilled atmosphere which was exactly what I was after. All the staff were extremely friendly and helpful - Naseemy is a legend and Injie was very welcoming and made me feel at home. The location (fifteen minutes walk from the centre of dahab) was perfect.

Thank you so much for your kind comments on both our club and more importantly the hard working folk here. We do all love what we do and where we do it and it was a real pleasure to have you here for your extended holiday.

Wow.. My wife and me stayed for 7 days @ DiveUrge and it was just brilliant. Really nice and relaxed atmosphere, a wonderful staff and perfect equipment. The rooms with garden view are just right for the holiday.

Even after one week, we feel really recovered and most of the time it was just us two and the guide on a dive, uncomparable to a trip with 6+ Divers in a group.

This place is special and we've seen a lot of bases all over the world so far. Sure, it is a bit more expensive than other places in Dahab, but it's definitely worth it.

Another great holiday at Dive Urge in early April. Stayed at the hotel this time, in one of the family suites. Great to be able to get up and be right there; breakfast right on the beach and then ready to kit up. The meals at Food Urge were all excellent, and really good value. Two of us were snorkelling only, and we got very helpful advice each time on where they could go (including on diving day trips) so it worked well as a family holiday.

Everyone at Dive Urge is completely dedicated to ensuring you have the best possible time; and it's a really relaxing place to be. The beautiful cats were another highlight.

Highly recommended!

We ate at Dive urges' resturant Food urge with friends who have young teenagers. We all enjoyed our food. The resturant is also great for couples. The atmosphere created by being on the beach under the stars with the surf gently laping is hard to find elsewhere in Dahab. They also do not play music so on a still night the only noise is the sea and the local fishermen in their boats fishing.

Breakfast on the beach...dive...lunch...dive...relax...write up logbook...read...rest...dinner in moonlight...sleep. What a great place Dive Urge is! Such quality service. Don't know what is better: the beautiful setting, the friendly family feel, the relaxed but professional approach, or the evident love of diving and the natural world. We love it. So pleased we went again.

Needed a break, and booked a diving holiday, from the very start everything was organised really well, they picked us up from the airport, and drove across the desert, this was my 1st trip to Egypt, and did not know what o expect, what became apparent very quickly, was although we were in Egypt the Sinai region is completely different to Cairo, and had the feeling that this area was not affected by all the trouble in Cairo.

The area is very mountainous, very picturesque, where mountains meet the sea.

On arrival we found the hotel a oasis of calm, with a small courtyard for chilling in, and across that way a little restaurant with magnificent views across the red sea.
There are three main areas
The Restaurant
With both a inside and outside dining area, the maitre-d could not do enough for us, getting in ingredients so we could have dairy and gluten free options
In the afternoon, having come back from diving we would sit and chill out, looking over the red sea and drinking Bedouin tea ( very refreshing)

Accommodation
This was very spacious, clean and tidy, we were not spending much time in the room, so was fine.
Huge on suite, shower, enormous bath, all in Egyptian style

Dive centre
As this was booked as a dive holiday this was very important, the team were extremely accommodating, very professional, went through all the safety checks, no corners were cut. The dives were spectacular, just wish we could have stayed down longer, dives could be tailored to ability, and requirements.
There are many dive sites close by, the closest 25m up the beach, this is Eel garden, and made a nice easy dive.

Dive Urge, is a 5 min walk out of the town centre, so far enough out for it to be quite, but close enough to get into town if you want to. There is a coastal path that runs on level tarmac from the hotel round to the town, along this path there are many restaurants and shops, and using this route kept us off the roads.

We only went on one excursion, the Bedouin dinner, this was fantastic, and if you only do one trip do this one, going up into the mountains, cooking the food on a camp fire, more Bedouin tea, it was fantastic.

The perfect place for a dive trip to Dahab, away from the masses. But everything is still reachable by foot! If you like it calm and quiet this is the perfect place. Very friendly staff and good service. The Restaurant is also very good so that we nearly never left the place. Of course except for diving with the wonderful Achmed who looked after us and showed us the beautiful reefs of Dahab.
