Hi arrived late on friday evening and queued to be given a key and directions OUT of the hotel to the Duport building 100metres down the road.We eventually found the building and made our way to our room,it absolutely stank of stale smoke and was not very clean. We went back to reception to ask for a move and there were 3 other couples complaining. We were told there were no rooms until Sunday. On sunday we were shown 3 other rooms in the main hotel and decided to move.Room was lovely but had no balcony. We went to bed at 12a.m but the noise from the air con unit on the roof was so loud we could not sleep went to reception and was given another room for the night.Next day we were shown another 3 rooms and eventually decided on a room also in the new building.I would like to say a special thank you to Mohammad who is the assistant reception manager,he went above and beyond for us.The hotel was lovely ,nice food clean rooms, although some areas are needing a refurbish(dining room a bit tatty). The staff make this hotel, very polite and helpful.Cindy guest relations very helpful also.We would definately go back to El gouna but would only stay at TCOV if we emailed our room choice before we went.Overall had a great holiday and met some lovely people from all over the world.

Room tip: Nicer rooms in main hotel, not Duport building.

Fantastic hotel that made our stay in El Gouna for a dream holiday, the staff are working hard for us guests will have first-class service, and they succeed more than well! Room Cleaning was flawless, with positive surprises! hotel food is good with plenty to choose from, including two cooks who prepare food directly in the dining room. the hotel has many bars, two fine restaurants all inclusiv guests receive a discount on the food right next to the hotel, which served wonderful good 3 course meal and your drinks are free. The hotel has a pub, where the tension even at low season and of course free drinks for all inclusiv guests. The hotel's beach is really nice, clean and the food and drinks are served .. bathing is unfortunately shallow ..

Having stayed at another Three Corners Hotel in Marsa Alam three years ago we decided to give El Gouna Ocean View a try. We were very pleased that we did. The setting was wonderful. We really appreciated being able to walk out of the hotel and not get hasseled. The Abu Tig Marina was a lovely place to walk around and good bars and restaurants in abundance. On our arrival at reception we were asked if we had stayed at a Three Corners Hotel before. When we said yes we were immediately upgraded to a superior room and were sent a fruit basket. The room was lovely, the only drawback was it didn't have a sea/lagoon view, but the garden was colourful and very pretty. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Bob and Achmed, the animation team, worked very hard and gave guests the freedom to participate or not. The restaurant was very clean and produced lovely food. We did eat at Chez Pascal and Dolce Vita and the food was always so very good. Thank you to our lovely waiter Mohammad in Chez Pascal, he really made the meals something to remember. We were very impressed with the Hotel Manager, Jurgen. He was very hands-on and always spoke if he saw you. He even came on to the coaches to say goodbye when we left. Of the Guest Relations Team we only saw Cindy and she was always very helpful and imformative. The Tuk Tuks at 50p per person per trip were an excellent way to get about. The shuttle bus at £2 for a 7 day unlimed use is great value but the wooden seats are a bid hard on the rump. Although there is no reef off the beach there are excellent boat trips to the reefs offshore. We saw beautiful coral and fish, dolphins and pilot whales. All in, we would thoroughly recommend Three Corners Ocean View, El Gouna and intend to return again soon.

Room tip: Choose between marina view, sea view or lagoon view. The majority of the sunshine is mainly on the lagoon side.

Returned from a week in this hotel on 1st Feb, as it was our first holiday in Egypt we have no other hotels to compare it with but we found it enjoyable all the the staff throughout the hotel are very nice helpful and polite and always had a smile and everywhere including rooms is kept very clean. We would have liked a bit more variety in restaurant but the food on offer was always fresh and tasty. The 2 ala carte restaurants are well worth a visit. It was nice to see Jurgen the General Manager walking around the hotel and restaurants introducing himself to guests prepared to listen to any complaints. The area around the Hotel is lovely with plenty of bars and restaurants if you wanted a break from the Hotel. Downtown El-Gouna was very clean and nice to walk around although at this time of year pretty quiet. The downside to this was the weather we had lots of cloud and wind which made it feel quite chilly but we cant control the weather. Overall we had a really nice holiday and would say well done to Jurgen and ALL his
staff.

Room tip: we had room 2306 in main building which was very nice with a lovely view but it did not have a balcony or terrace, and although after we complained about this as our accommodation voucher stated Balcony?terrace they did try to find us another room during our stay we stayed put as room was nice and we spent very little time in it.

It was the first time in Egypt, and the choice of this hotel couldn't be better!
The treatment of the staff was excellent, relaxed. The food couldn't be better, it was a super stay in a beautiful surrounding. The rooms were spacious and some have a really fantastic view.
Our opinion for this hotel is simple: we certainly will come back for an relaxing stay. I don't need to look further.
