Positives: 1- Very Good Hotel Facilities in terms of Kids Slides as well as Old Slides with a very good supervision on the adult's one , as for the kid's Slides, there need to be more than 1 life guard
2- Very Good Equipped and nicely furnished new rooms
3 - Mr. Magdy , the front office senior manager is one of the positives in this place who tried to make us comfy as much as he can
4- Food Was not bad although there was a mess all the time due to shortage of staff and shortage of plates, cups, spoons, etc..

Negatives:

- Front Office Personnel needs to be more trained on how to handle customer complaints as well as guest relations , when we arrived at 2.10 Pm , we were surprised that the person in the reception is insisting on us to wait for the room to be ready which is a big question mark how come the rooms are not ready at 2 pm, thankfully Mr. Magdy upgraded us and accommodated us within 15 min
- House Keeping Sucks, they made 2 mistakes in less than 24 hours, the first one is when we came back to the room to find no towels and we waited for more than 45 minutes to get them for us after 3 calls to the guest relation complaining about it as they don't pick up their phone ,the second mistake is when we left the room from 9 Am to 6 Pm , and we came back to find it not clean and also we waited for more than an hour after calling the guest relation 3 times to send us someone to clean the room , the main issue for me as well is that the guest relation refused to pass me to the housekeeping manager saying that he can't take calls from clients which is totally un professional , and we didn't even receive a single reply about this complaint
- Bell Captains are not enough for checkin and checkout guests , we asked the bell captain to take the luggage from the room and we waited at the reception for 20 min waiting to discover that they didn't send anyone to pick up the luggage and we had to followup this issue personally with the bell captain supervisor to make sure someone will go and pick them up
- Hotel needs to reconsider their corporate deals offered to companies as the quality of people at the hotel is totally not expected from a 5 stars chain like steigenberger
- We had to talk to the life guard supervisor to get a woman out from the pool who went there with her clothes on in front of the life guard who didn't do anything and thankfully the supervisor did
- Beach places are very limited compared to number of rooms occupied at the hotel
- Workers were still there and working in our room area which was not accepted, Mr. Magdy offered to move us the second day but we were already un packed so couldn't pack again, wanted to enjoy our vacation as much as possible
- The Bar guy at the adults slide pool area was very rude, when i complained that i need ice-cream at 1 Pm which was the beginning of the ice Cream time , he said it's finished and stock is finished and can't do anything about it , then i insisted so he called a manager saying : " An EGYPTIAN is complaining that she can't find ice-cream and it's finished from here " . what does it make difference between a foreigner or an Egyptian , thankfully the bar manager came and apologized and advised that from tomorrow he will get us what we want and got us several options
- The Staff need to be trained trained trained , and increased shortage makes a mess

Me and my five friends stayed at this hotel for a weeks and it was one of the nicest hotels I have stayed in. The room was always clean and the Staff where great. I did have some favourites.
Hany abdel Aziz bar manager made my holiday that little bit better, great service and made me the nicest cocktail I have ever tasted, trumbs up :) also Mohamed Habib lobby bar was very friendly and nice.
defo would come back again and defo recommend it for couples and groups.
so much to do, so you will neber get bored and plus the food is also nice :)

Room Tip: any room, mine was sooooo nice

Recently returned from a weeks stay here [10-17th June] with my brother and two sons (19/26) We had a lovely time and enjoyed all the facilites, The food was lovely and plentiful something to suit everyones taste.The complex was very clean.Every person we came into contact with was pleasant,helpful and always smiling.We also had a trip to the pyramids with sawa4tours (which I recommend) a long day but worth it. All in all an enjoyable experience. Thanks to everyone at the Steigenberger Aqua Magic.

I was there from 13/6 to 17/6 the hotel is very good for many things food , pools and aqua but there is some points disapointed one of them that the receiption staff can not deal with large number of visitors and there is no communication between sales persons and reservation and receiption , that is the main disappointing point but at all the hotel is very good and very big but needs a lot of staff in case of crowdy , the hotel is excellent when the occupaion under 50% , but after all the hotel is very good and I advice it for families to make kids happy

My boyfriend and I stayed at this hotel from 3rd to 10th June and had a wonderful holiday. I had emailed the hotel in advance to request the airport transfer. The driver called Tiger was amazing! So friendly and spoke to us every time he saw us for the rest of the holiday. The hotel upgraded our room to a deluxe room with a large balcony. The rooms are basic compared to some other hotels I have states in but they we're clean and the mini bar was always stocked. The pools were lovely and the beach. The staff at the beach bar were great. I am pregnant and was worries about the food before we went but I found the food to be great with a good choice every day. All of the waiting staff we're excellent but a special mention must go to Hossam Hassan in the main restaurant. It was a pleasure speaking to him every day and he looked after us so well during our stay. The only problem with the hotel is that I would agree with what some other reviewers have written about the Arab guests in the hotel or more specifically their children who ran wild! This wasn't a problem during the day but of a night it made the hotel very noisy. It could be that we noticed it more than usual because I was going to bed early due to my pregnancy but the rooms didn't become quiet until around 1am most nights. I found that turning the air con on did muffle the noise outside the room. I don't know if there is anything that the hotel management could so about this as they can't really be held responsible for the behaviour of rude guests! The other problem was not with the hotel but with Thomas Cook, the flights were delayed both ways and the plane coming home was very old and noisy which made the flight uncomfortable. We experienced six hours of delays in total which wasn't a great start or end to an otherwise lovely holiday. I would definitely recommend this hotel to other couples or to families.
