We spent a week at the jungle aqua park in early March. It was fantastic!

We have 2 young kids - (2 and 4) and they loved it. The hotel is spotlessly clean, the staff polite and the pools are wonderful. We stayed in a larger family room but even the normal bungalows have a separate area with a bunk bed. Most rooms look out on to a secluded pool. Only the heated ones were warm enough for the little ones to swim in but ours were happy to paddle in the shallow end.

Food was good for an AI - much better than other AI's that we have been to and the wine was surprisingly palatable. The children's pools (2 of them) were great fun and the aqua park didn't have many queues. One of out favourite pools was the one with the inflatable boats and wave machine. If you are bringing children, I would recommend bringing an inflatable with you or buying one out there. Much more fun to be had that way!

The evenings were a bit quiet - which suited us. The temperature dropped a little but on several night, it was nice enough to sit out with a drink. There is an active kiddies disco every night which our little ones loved.

The hotel next door offered camel / horse rides (we were charged $2) and also a light show which was average. We did walk round the 3 sister hotels and Jungle Park was by far the nicest - spacious and uncrowded. The beach makes a bit of a change of scene but not really worth going to. It is man-made and all I saw in the water was a dead squid! We didn't feel the need to return to the beach with the vast array of pools in the resort itself. There is also a great supermarket 10 mins walk up the road which also has free wifi (otherwise 50 euros for the week).

It was nice hearing lots of different languages being spoken in the park - made it feel more away from home. We had no problems whatsoever with rude europeans!!

All in all - this resort is highly recommended - especially if you have kids who love swimming. I would look elsewhere if you want lots of snorkelling / diving (go to Sharm for coral was what all the locals were telling me!) The accommodation is not luxurious but very clean and comfortable. The pools, layout and vibe of the resort are what made it for us!

Room Tip: All standard bungalows can sleep 4, although there are larger family rooms available.

Visited the jungle qua park for 2 weeks in March and really could not fault the hotel. It is immaculate throughout from the pools, to the bars to the rooms. The rooms are beautiful and the grounds are kept so well. I think you could eat your dinner off the floor it is so clean. The resteraunts were all good. There was the asian, tagine, german, english, italian and meditterean. There are a number of bars, cocktails not great but they serve proper coffee which is good. the aqua park is great but the kids did get cold after a while of being in them, this was the only negative really that the pools that were not heated were soo freezing you could not swim in them. kids disco good but didnt start until 8pm. there is a kids corner in asian resteruant with little chair and tables and a buffet!

Just got back (Monday 26th) from a fantastic week at this hotel. We went with 2 small children of 31/2 and 7 months, its was our 1st time abroad as a family, and it was far far better than we had ever hoped for.

The hotel is very clean and well kept. Rooms were very good, with big beds and good shower. TV, hairdryer, although we didn't spend much time there!! The excellent Aqua Park meant we spent all day round the pools. It was a bit cold once out of the pool, but a big towel and few minutes on a sunbed, was all that was needed to warm-up and go again. There was a constant flow of sellers while at the pool, (massage, hair-braiding, spa, trips, shows) which did get a bit tiresome after a while. But a quick no thanks and a shake of the head, moved them on! (this would be our only moan)

Food was really good, with freshly cooked offerings most nights. incl. BBQ lamb, turkey, prawns, with pasta and pizza cooked to order. The Italian 'Alfredos' seemed to be the favourite, and there was sometimes a wait for a table. The Morocaan 'Tangire' was also very good. 6 restaurants plus snack bars and ice-cream, meant there was always plenty of choice.

We had to move rooms after a couple of nights, because of some noisy neighbours. But this was all done with no hassle. We ended up with a bigger room, with bunkbeds, which made our oldest very happy. Although we had to take precautions, as they were high, and he's a fidget! Every room looks out onto a pool (a bit cold for March though), the maze of paths to the rooms can take some getting used to, but once you've worked this out, everything is close by.

We found all the staff to be helpful and friendly without being in your face all the time. Our little 7 month old girl got lots of attention and gave plenty of smiles back.

English voices were defineately in the minority, but this caused us no problem whatsoever. With German and Russian making up the bulk of the guests.

We'll be looking to go back again!!!

We really liked spending a week at the Jungle Aqua Park. We thought the food was all right all though some of the restaurants were closed some days and we didn't know when so we actually missed visiting one restaurant (that is how many restaurants there are!!).
We LOVED the Columbus cafe with its manager Muhamad Sabry. He can REALLY make fun lattes! He will fix your coffe up just like you want it. He is a trained barista and can do fun decorations!
We really really liked the room/bungalow we stayed in. It was really spacious and with its own section for the kids. There was enough space for clothes and stuff for a family of four during the week we stayed. Unfortunately the pool outside the room was not heated and we couldn't swim there with the kids. Some of the other pools were heated so we could go there. A minus though, that the one outside the room and the one were the smallest water slides were was cold.
First we couldn't get wifi (that you have to pay for) in our room and since we both had to work part of our vacation we had to switch rooms so make sure you are within range when you get your room if you are in need of connection in your room.
Otherwise, have a good trip!

Room Tip: See previous comments about the internet access.

I have stayed in various Hotels in Hurghada over the last few years, but never in a hotel with such good reviews. So what makes this hotel better than the others i have stayed in? Well it's many little things that for me really add up, here are some of those differences. Restaurants! firstly there is a choose of several, choose is good, and on arrival to your chosen restaurant there always seemed to be lots of tables set up ready for you, unlike other hotels where the staff can't seem to keep up. Then there were always cups, spoons etc. instead of having to ask for these items. The service was generally much better to, as was the food. Some of the home made soups and main dishes were gorgeous! And finally there is a takaway near the pool which covers the times the the restaurants are closed, and one restaurant is actually open until midnight Brilliant! So if you fancy a few beers before you dine then there really is no rush. Then Ice-Cream is included which is not normal, neither is Coffee, but here you get a coffee bar with a menu! There is also a cocktail menu in all bars, again i have not come across this before. All inclusive drinks are available all the way until midnight, and another great thing about this Resort is there are various places to enjoy your drinks, not just one all inclusive bar as is the norm. The beers get served in a real glass, and you get Big bottles of locally brewed stella brought to your tables! Last year i found it hard to get tipsy as there was only 1 bar and long queues! This year it was hard to stay sober as the sevice was generally was second to none, and beers just keep coming. If your on wine and you tip them say 10 egyptian pounds (One English) they sometimes bring a bottle to your table! It's never been so hard to stay sober! The animation Team are the most friendly i have encountered, and then there is the brilliant massive water park! This is a very child friendly resort, a must for kids of all ages, but also still good for coupes like us. It really is like a small town.
Ok a couple of tips:
Take English money as it can be easily changed at reception and you get a really good rate
Before you book a boat trip check the weather as it can often be very windy with rough sea. The weather forecast is in reception, check the wind speed.
Use the Hotel Taxi, these are not expensive and it's just less hassle
We got our transfer through gotohurghada.org the great thing is if you book through them they will get your visa for you so no very long queue, we flew through the airport to our private transfer, and was at out hotel in no time.
And finally on your return journey to the airport, take some loo roll, as the cheeky cleaners, take all the paper out of the loo's then try and charge you for it when you want to go! Can't believe this is still allowed to happen.
Happy holidays.

Room Tip: The beds we found to be a little on the hard side

Booked with Travel Republic and flew with Thomas Cook and I have to say both outward and return flights were great. No delays at all.
Jungle aqua park hotel is huge. We were in a bungalow near the aqua park. at first it seemed a long way from reception and the restaurants but we soon worked out a short cut. The rooms are brilliant, king size bed and flat screen T.V separating slide door with an ajoining room with two single beds and ANOTHER flat screen TV (my ten year was over the moon to have this to himself and we enjoyed the privacy). Each room faces out to a own smaller pool area, freezing at this time of year but nice to chill around. The walk in shower room, was great all clean with a good powerful shower and hot water.
The Aqua park is amazing, lots to do for all ages. There is also part of the pool that has canoes. my son and his friend loved this, they could would play all day. Two nice bars around the pool areas and lunch and hot/cold drinks were available there too.
Lots of choice at most meals times and mainly good quality also snacks available between meals (pancakes etc)) but for us the evening meals got a little repeitive.
We only ventured to the entertainment bar for one evening, too many people smoking there for us. There was not much else to do in the evenings but as the temperature dropped dramacially at night we were happy going back to our room and watching a movie(A english movie channel with films every two hours).
Outside of the hotel its mainly other hotels, sand and construction but just a short walk
(approx 15 mins towards Dana beach hotel) there is a shopping strip and there is a department store which has FIXED prices so no haggling or harassment. There are a variety of shops in the hotel too and they dont hassle you too much but they are more expensive.
We took a taxi to hurghada's habour - some stunning boats along there and there is also a variety of bars and restaurants. An english bar if you want to catch up with the footie and a great Indian restaurant if you fancy a change from hotel food. Also you can use the beach at Dana Park hotel for free but we didnt think it was that great.
The staff at the Aqua park are all great, friendly but not over so. You get your own drinks at meals times but they are happy to replace them for you.
I could go on for ever but to generalise for a family holiday I cannot fault it, its brilliant.
