after delays at Gatwick it was great to get to the hotel where the staff were quick at check in ,the rooms are large and comfortable. the food in the 7 different restaurants is very good and varied, the waiters and bar staff are helpful and friendly, the entertainment is basic but good fun and the animation team are totally mad in a good way. basically a great holiday and can not wait to go back in november

This hotel was incredible, our holiday was fantastic from gatwick to Gatwick...... I
firstly our transfers were organised sign posted and there waiting for us air con at the ready (very much-needed) wasn't expecting 39 degrees at 8pm but this is not a complaint I just needed to adjust.... airport staff are friendly and knowledgeable.... please do NOT use the airport toilets go before u leave the plane... I was nearly sick when walking into the ladies and the toilets where horrific I couldn't bring myself to toilet in there so just crossed my legs.. coach transfer was fine with our rep very helpful and was all very efficient.... however the other drivers in Egypt are crazy but I never felt unsafe just amazed by there lack of lines or rules on the road... (every country to there own though)
Arrived at the hotel (we were the first drop off 20 mins drive) I was shocked the reviews and pictures were impressive but the real thing was outstanding, security outside and all vehicles thoroughly checked going in (I felt very safe).
Reception were so welcoming and our lobby boy took our bags to our room, showed us around and then told us how to work a shower and AC.... he did ask for a tip but learning to say NO in Egypt early saves u money and hassle, everyone that went above and beyond throughout our two weeks received bigger tips on departure.... our cleaner was amazing he changed all linen everyday apart from towels that are still hung up!! He made us pretty little towel animals and I even got a massive presentation of towels and flowers on my bday accompanied by a card and cake from the hotel.... we didn't go to pyramids or Tudor as it was simply too hot, we only done excursions were we knew we had a pool or lots of water available, we are returning in a cooler month to do this. We done the ultimate quad biking experience and the royal cruise, both were amazing and such great services. Quad biking was fantastic and very humorous in parts (donkey rides) but we found the end entertainment although lovely very long I was ready to have a shower and get back to apartment. But that's just me moaning!! The royal cruise was amazing and a real MUST the people and experience was an unforgettable one. The lunch was lovely and caught by myself... be aware of fire coral it stings lol. But non harmful and there great at home remedies to help... snorkelling equipment provided and sea tour guide was just amazing and the water was Crystal... we all got burnt so factor 50 maybe.... adult only was nice (nothing against children) it was just bliss....
All transfers prompt comfy and friendly..
We went to new Marian for dinner was beautiful scenery lovely food on personal mini bbqs and nice service...
We went to touristic walk were the streets are lined with hundreds (no exaggeration) of small boutiques u will find all up need here and more, u can really bargain with them. Much much cheaper then anywhere else on complex or off in hurghada.... picked up a lilo for 50 episode equivalent to a fiver in the UK... hotel wanted £20!!!!
Yes u will be asked to go in for tea and look at there shops but there Solomon friendly knowledgeable on everything including UK....
We ate at the hard rock cafe WOW best food all holiday great atmosphere and service just brilliant.... there's a perfume shop called Ali Baba... he's kind welcoming and not ppressuringhundredsressuring just wants to smoke and drink tea we did buy perfume £10 English pound for 75Ml perfume and little dipper bottle.... but he wasn't fussed selling just loved a chat, if u visit please say we say hello from England :) we will b back!!!
We went to el gouna about 30 mins from hurghada has a cable park loads of lovely restaurants and shops, this is the posh part so no hassle from shops everyone goes about there own way!! We rented quads and beds toured El gouna was amazing massive mansions beautiful Marian and toks toks everywhere £1.50 to get around but there crazy drivers, I enjoyed it but I did hold on for dear life!!!

The sea and beach (very stony) was a short shuttle away from jungle aqua bus come every 15/20 mins , sea was beautiful and great to snorkel in, at extra cost u can banana boat wind surf etc...
Sea was warm UN crowded beds everywhere never went to far for a Lounger, little snack bar on beach side, it's not the Ritz but fills a hole and quenches your thirst this is included in urban
urb all inclusiveness.....

Soo my bad points, the food is bland but very edible and wide variety, don't be afraid to ask they are a look helpful....
I'm a fussy eater at the best of timmes not even McDonald's was too my satisfaction although massive portions and cheap...
Night time entertainment was pants the only thing I'd really change to be honest, kids looked after well and entertained but adults forgotten....
If the world cup wasn't on for a good watch I'd be in bed or having a sneaky swim after dinner most nights.....
Mornings were bloody hot had to wear sun glasses on my first daily glance lol... blackout curtains were great but slept in a lot lol... and the handle to patio door is HOT but usually will prob learn this the hard way...
Mossies are a problem obviously although I never suffered my family did I must not have the correct blood type..
Take some piriton put some calmine lotion on bite and this is all that's needed...
Yes I got sick but felt fine in myself just needed a toilet close.... drink green tea (provided) 2 tea spoons of honey and some antanol (pharmacy on-site) £4 English pounds and I was dandy in 1 day.. I proceeded to eat honey drink 1 green tea everyday and all was well.....
There's a show on offer next door hotel it's extra cost and booked by the boys that come round the pools... it's fantastic and some evening entertainment!!

So I've rambled on enough!!!! Our rep ismail Thomson was fantastic and our holiday was unforgettable. Please go at least once we stayed in 1095/1094 and had a pool two steps from our room which never had more then 3 people in..
Power cuts are frequent but there are generators for the necessities and it never lasts to long. Something to do with government!!!

Showers were great rooms big selings high air con great service brilliant so helpful....
We will be back!!!

The bad reviews seem to come from people excpection st Lucia style food and accommodation, add another 5grand and u may get the 8stars your seeking.

Hope this helps. :)

Room Tip: 1095/1095 and all surrounding rooms are lovely and 2 secs from restaurants ect yet never hear any no...

This hotel is just exceptional. I aim to provide you with information that will hopefully benefit your holiday or confirm your choice in booking Jungle Aqua Park. Upon arrival, check in was fairly swift for us and the lovely bell boy showed us to our room at roughly 8:30pm. The rooms are really lovely! They are spacious, marvellous air con, big bathrooms and always very clean! You are provided with pool towels and water for your mini fridge, although we tipped our cleaner a few times and gained coke/sprite etc for the fridge (others got this without tipping). Tipping is never compulsory and a firm 'no' will always be understood, however no staff in the hotel ask for tips (mainly at the airport) and we did tip on occasions if we felt they deserved it). The staff work SO hard and cannot do enough for you! I read a previous review that said they favoured the russians?! complete lie! they love the english! The english were a slight minority in this hotel, but this shouldn't bother you or affect your stay as we spoke to plenty of english people and the foreign people mean or do no harm. The restaurants are Mediterranean (coastline foods), tangine (morrocan and oriental), zum kaiser (german), le marche (english), asian planet (chinese, indian etc), al fredo (italian), spaghetti factory, club mc, aqua park restaurant and pizza house. (Mexican open during peak times at aqua park restaurant). They had a huge variety of foods as you can see and you could always find something you liked!! What is brilliant is that you can get different bits from each restaurant as they are connected, or eat in different places but still sit with your family. The entertainment team work SO hard, if you want to get involved, then you will have a brilliant time, however if you do not, this is okay too! They did aqua aerobics, stretching, games, belly dancing, water volleyball, football tournaments etc! We didn't visit the evening entertainment that much due to the lovely bars on offer at Jungle Aqua Park, however the fakir show was excellent! They have a mini disco for kids and various other shows, in which there is variety. However some things were repeated and in the 12 days we were there, we didn't see the 'Lion King' show that was meant to be on, but as i said, this wasn't a big issue as a holiday is what YOU make it! The pools were amazing, so clean and always quiet! We almost always had a pool to ourselves and they were never noisy or overcrowded. There are so many pools to chose from but our personal favourites were the pool by reception (with the lovely four poster sun bed's), the main active pool in which the animation team work around) and the private pool for our set of bungalows (room 1044). Our room was perfectly situated, a stones throw from the waterpark, the main active pool and our private pool! The waterpark is also fantastic with slides for everyone, a lazy river and a fun wave pool! On the saturday at 15:00 hrs there is a foam party which everyone seemed to enjoy! There are always lifeguards visible which is good and they seem to be on the ball! This hotel really has something for everyone and whether you like to immerse yourself into the action, or relax, you will find the pool/area perfectly suited to you! We loved the Rum bar by reception as not only did they do lovely milkshakes but they worked so hard to make sure you were happy, even making me my own cocktail because i didn't like the others! I was very dubious about coming to egypt because hearsay is that the men can be a bit forward.. however this was not an issue at all! They are really friendly and enjoy banter but never cross the line! All the men in the resort mean no harm and as long as you are nice to them, they;ll be nice to you! I felt 100% safe in this resort and would walk around on my own, night or day, happily! They have an ice cream place (Il Gelato) and a bakery (Le brioche) situated by the restaurants, and this is your best bet if you have a sweet tooth. It is hard to get deserts in the other restaurants (unless you love fruit) so we often went to the bakery for some cakes or il gelato for some crepes! (crepes served between 12-3 and 6:30-9). The shops situated next to il gelato are great! we got many souvenirs for great prices, just don't forget to barter!! the shop by the aqua park restaurant is great too, but they can be overpriced! We did have a problem with mosquito's during our stay and i got bitten very badly. However, if you go to the pharmacy at the aqua park and buy their repellent 'OFF!' (75 egyptian pounds) then it is fantastic and we never got bitten after that! The pharmacy is excellent and offer everything for decent prices, it is also very handy the clinic is next door too in case of any injuries/illness. We also had a problem with ants in our room, but reception immediately came down and sorted the problem quickly and that was the end of that! Reception can also give you plug in's to help with the mosquito's and can't do enough for you! There are always people looking after the grounds and this is why the hotel looks so beautiful. We were lucky enough to be invited as a vip to the invited guests dinner which was absolutely lovely, despite the queues! We also had a call from the guests service lady with a small questionnaire in which we asked for chocolate sauce for the pancakes for breakfast and it to be more easy to get drinks without walking miles. Both of which were done the next day, chocolate sauce and waiters coming round, excellent! The hotel does have wifi, but it does lack abit, but if you are patient then it will work, you are in egypt remember! (it worked wonderfully in my room!). There are people that come round and try and sell you trips, but they are all wonderful people! If you say no, they understand! however a lot of people have booked with them and had a wonderful time! Ali Mercury came round and told us about the trip to the next door hotel (Pickalbatros al leila wa leila hotel and fantasia). We paid 250 egyptian pounds for two adults and had a fanstastic time, he was very attentive and looked after us! we rode camels and horses, looked at all the fantastic monuments (including the sphinx etc), went into a museum of egyptian heritage and saw Tutankhamen's belongings etc, watched a fanastic show of horse stunts/fire breathing/belly dancing and more! it was well worth it! We also went on a Thompson trip to the island of Mahmya (£110 for two people). This was amazing and an exact replica of the Caribbean islands, white sand and clear water! All snorkelling equipment is free and the snorkelling was sensational, as was the lunch in fact! A great day! There are computers you can pay for in the hotel, 40 egyptian pounds for one hour (other options available) and they have skype etc. The hotel has a few powercuts a day but this is due to the egyptian government and this shouldn't affect you as they are very very quick! Sunbeds were not an issue on this holiday and you could honestly get one at all hours! (even the four poster ones!!). Cocktails were made fresh and NOT out of a bottle and the food was always freshly prepared. Senzo mall is a short 10-15 minute walk and many people enjoyed visiting it. Hurghada airport is interesting.. there were very long queue's for us as our flight back coincided with the time they could now eat (because of ramadam) so they all left their positions and went to eat...leaving us in big crowds. However once in they have duty free, burger king, a cafe, a pub and a whole market like strip of shops!! I would recommend this hotel to anyone and i strongly believe that you will have a FANTASTIC time here!! A holiday is what YOU make it and this hotel is one where you can make it unforgettable. Any questions do not hesitate to ask!! This is an AMAZING resort and well worth the money. Enjoy every minute of it, i miss it already.

Room Tip: 1044, near waterpark, private bungalow pool and massive main active pool that animation team work ar...

We spent 1 week here at the end of May 2 adults and 3 children, we arrived at the hotel along with a lot of other travellers and reception was very busy we eventually were allocated a room which had 1 double bed and a set of twin beds, we asked for an extra bed and was refused so our poor 5 year old had bunk in with us not ideal after a long day, and then we learnt the hotel actually have rooms that sleep 5.

Our first experience in the dinning room was very strange no staff really wanted to help u,s and when we did manage to find a free table trying to get it cleaned and fresh cutlery was beyond a joke. The pools and grounds are very well cared for and the room was kept very clean. trying to get a drink in the day time around the pool was non existent and meant a 10 minute walk to the bar, its a pity they don't have smaller bars set up around the complex. You can't buy alcohol there so we stocked up at the airport and just purchased our mixers and snacks from spinney's supermarket you can get a cab from hotel reception we paid about £3 return there is also a McDonald's there if you fancy a change, the Mall is nice to have a wander around no pressure to buy and most things are priced, the children loved the indoor arcade and mini fair.

Overall the hotel and aqua park where clean and fun the service however left a lot to be desired except in the bar next to the reception and the ice cream shop we felt like we received friendliness and good service.

The English holiday makers here I am sad to say are the last on the list for receiving good service and a smile.

We would return here but we certainly would be more prepared to have to spend money outside the hotel to receive a good standard of service.

Also the hotel have a xbox and simulator ride set up at night be warned it's £5 pp to play.

Room Tip: Most of the rooms are located near a pool but some are a long way from the bar if you fancy a quick...

Dear Amanda,

thank you very much for your feedback and the time to write it down.

First of all we never allocate a family with 5 pax in a room for 4 pax, i guess this was a misunderstanding in the check in procedure.
In all describtion of our esteemed hotel is written, that we have restaurants with buffet and self sevice for drinks. The staff clean the table and set them up again. If there is the time for them than they will serve the guest for sure. And our staff will always to make you happy with a smile.

Of course you can buy alcohol in the hotel- only ask on the bars and they will give the guesst the price.

Hope to see you once again in our hotel.

Best regards,

the Management of Jungle Park

This hotel is wonderful for all ages, just me and my boyfriend visited and we had a great holiday. I can see why families would love it. The hotel is exceptionally clean and the staff are very attentive. The only issue with this hotel is the food, there are a lot of places to eat however we found that there was only one decent thing on the menu in each. The hotel does not cater for many English. Majority of the guests were German, Polish or Russian and this shows in the food. If you like pizza then you will be fine, as pizza is always on the menu. Although we found there was not much choice, the food we did eat was nice and always fresh. The waterpark is better than I expected, all the slides are good fun, the snack bar in the water park isn't up to much but it's okay just to grab some chips in the afternoon. Overall I would recommend this hotel, but the food is something to be aware of especially if you are a fussy eater.

I have just returned from a 10 day trip to Jungle Aqua Park with my children aged 9 and 11 and would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a family fun holiday . We had a wonderful time. We had a large bungalow room overlooking a beautiful pool which was partitioned into two with a folding door. Water park was very clean and much fun. The food is very good with the amount of restaurants so there is something for everyone to eat .The staff are very friendly and efficient. We are hoping to go back in the near future.

We have just spent 2weeks here (June 2014) and would Absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a family fun holiday. The staff are very friendly and efficient , if you have any problems they are there on hand to help sort it as quick as they can.
The staff love kids and will often play around with them . They truly are there to make sure you have a good time.
The food is very good with the amount of restaurants so there is something for everyone to eat. Kids mini disco was thoroughly enjoyed by the kids and again the animation team are brill.
The pools are always kept clean as well as the rest of the resort . Everyday our bungalow room was cleaned and restocked with water ,coke fanta and sprite was given as an extra treat by the cleaning staff .
The only downside to it which is nothing really to do with the hotel is the Mosquitos , the hotel spray twice a day to get rid of the pests but obviously can't get them all. We found that jungle formula from England didn't work but in the hotel pharmacy they sold a spray called OFF which does work and isn't expensive. Overall it was very very good and we are hoping to go back in the near future.

Room Tip: All rooms face on to pool but the rooms 1030's and 1100's are a good place to be as they ar...
