“Amazing hotel”
Reviewed 6 October 2013

We have just returned home from this amazing hotel, I am not going to repeat everything that other reviewers have said but I wholeheartedly agree. Spotless clean, fantastic beach, wonderful food and the staff are some of the most courteous and professional I have ever met, a very special thank you to Ahmed Moussa, Romany in the Italian and Ibrahim on the beach they are a credit to the manager Mr Mohammed Saeed, who is always on hand with a friendly smile. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel, so much so, I have already booked my flights for next year, we truly have found a little bit of paradise. The icing on the cake is adults only......See you all in May,

After our trip to the Premier Romance in February we said we'd definitely return in 2014 but we couldn't wait and returned for two weeks to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary in September. We stayed in one of the Royal Suites for the fortnight which made this trip extra special.
Some of the staff remembered us from our previous trip (not sure whether that's a good thing or not!) and it was great to see them especially as the number of guests had dropped so dramatically compared to earlier in the year. As other reviewers have said, the staff really make this a great hotel and the customer service is second to none. It's hard to single out specific staff but special mention goes to Ibrahim for our special anniversary gift - so thoughtful. Ahmed, Ibrahem (aka Obama) and Sabry really looked after us on the beach. Ahmed (Mousa) - I hope "bat" is back on the menu at Tiger Lily. And Moustafa (Parker) provided great vodka cocktails.
The hotel manager, Mr Mohammed Saeed, spent lots of time with us and other guests making sure our holiday experience really was excellent and other hotel managers could learn alot by adopting his approach to ensuring his guests are genuinely happy with everything.
And although this was our second trip it certainly won't be our last. February 2014 beckons.
Ian and Carolyn

Room Tip: The Royal Suites are excellent if you want something special.

After a short transfer from the airport to the premier romance via hurgarda we could see the effect the
problems have on tourism the streets and shops in hurgarda were empty, which is a great shame.
Entering the Premier through a grand reception which overlooks the terrace and beach we were shown to our spacious room. We were too late for dinner but some cold cuts were sent to our room.
The Thomson rep arranged a short but informative meeting the following morning, excursions are
available at very reasonable rates.
The resort itself is custom built and when the building work resumes I'm sure will be very busy.
If you're looking for a quite holiday with luxury go now while the prices are low.
I estimate the hotel was only a third of its capacity during our stay (great for service) and there is always a waiter on hand to fill your glass. On occasions there was not a huge choice of food in the main restaurant, due I think to the number's, however the food in the Italian and Chinese restaurants was of a very good
quality. We decided to eat on the terrace for lunch a few times which we found very good.
Take advantage of the Spa this again is open to negotiation.
The rooms were kept spotlessly clean with the usual towel art on display. The public areas and toilets
were also kept very clean, there was never a problem with sun beds on the beach or if you prefer the
rooftop pool, all with their own bars, even small touches on the beach like having your sunglasses
cleaned!
The entertainment was low key however the local dancers gave an excellent performance, films were
shown on some evenings with the waiters bringing popcorn to add to the atmosphere!
A small tip take some nappy bags they will be of use especially in your room, the plumbing doesn't like
paper!
Don't be afraid to venture out there's a short walk to a beautiful plaza with coloured fountains, and a few
shops, haggling goes without saying.
A big thank you to Sas, Amir, Reef, Ibrahim and Amhed on the beach, also the guy that cleaned our room and all the other staff.
Finally we would like to thank the general manager for his kindness in letting us keep our room right up
to our pick up time, giving us a last full day
Would we return? As it is now, yes, less than five hours from the uk guaranteed sun and at the moment
value for money.
In the future? yes we would still return and hope to see it a little bit busier!

Room Tip: Third floor rooms are closer to the rooftop pool.

Regrettably we have just returned home from the Premier Romance, wish we had booked for longer. What can i say, you get a private transfer from the airport, which was great, nothing worse than waiting on a bus for other guests. As you enter Sahl Hasheesh you know you are going to somewhere special. The immaculately kept approach to the hotel lets you know from the onset that you are going to a hotel where the staff take pride in there jobs. On the web site it states that the hotel exudes quality with a welcoming ambiance, this is an under statement. I now know what it feels like to be waited on hand and foot. From the time you step into the reception to the time you leave, nothing is to much trouble. Great first impression that just went on and on.
The first room we had was lovely, spotlessly clean, but after talking to another guest we decided to upgrade to one of the hotels suites. The Royal suite was Mega, loved every minute.
The guys on the beach are fantastic, Ahmed, the life guard, always wearing a smile, nothing was to much trouble, Ibrahim our beach barman, who look after us every day and little Sabry, who came around every day offering a sunglasses cleaning service, and wouldn't let you move your sun beds, he moved them for you. The beach itself was lovely and clean.
The main restaurant had a good verity of food, even though the hotel was less than half full. The waiters Mahmoud-El-aziz & Ahmed Moussa, just to mention a few, really looked after our every need.
The snack bar was well worth a visit. The Chinese and Italian restaurants were both great, only wish we had gone more than once. All of the hotel chefs were very helpful, Mostafa looked after us every morning. We were quite upset when "Ref" (Refaat) the lounge barman went home, as he was lovely.
The house keeping staff do a great job. One day i forgot to take the "do not disturb" sign off and our cleaner came to the beach to check if i wanted to let him clean, where else would that happen...
ALL THE STAFF WERE GREAT.
Mr Mohamed Saeed is a hands on hotel manager, and is always walking around making sure things were running smoothly and greeting his guests.
I could go on and on, i can not think of a bad comment.
Would i go back, tomorrow please.

This is definitely one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at. Our room 1247 was conveniently located by the pool area which we preferred to the beach as it was a bit quieter and the atmosphere generally more relaxed. Rooms are very luxurious and comfortable and loved the fact that even the bathroom had a sea view. All facilities are lovely and kept spotlessly clean. We booked with Thomson and everything was great. The private transfer to the hotel was a bonus and the check-in process was fantastic. You are taken to the bar area as soon as you arrive where we were offered a cold towel and a drink. A few minutes later we were escorted to our room so we didn’t even see the reception area. Great first impression! More hotels should do this!

The food in the main restaurant could improve but we always found something that we liked. Don’t forget to try the snacks! We only tried the snack bar on the last couple of days and it was a shame as we really liked everything we tried. If you don’t fancy anything from the main restaurant for lunch this could be an option. Selection of drinks was also good, cocktails and beer all tasted good. The a la carte restaurants are both excellent. We liked the Italian restaurant so much that we ended up going back for a second meal. Both were really good!

We also used the spa which is run independently but highly recommended. The hotel was very quiet so we managed to haggle a little bit and got a good price on a few treatments.

This hotel is exactly what we were looking for in terms of facilities and location, but what makes this place truly special is the service. The manager Mohamed is clearly doing it right and he should definitely be proud of his work. A special mention to the housekeeping staff who did a wonderful job! Refaat at the lounge bar (great guy!), Sabry by the pool who was always there to provide clean towels and clean our sunglasses, Amr who was a bit clumsy as a waiter but kept us entertained with his jokes and tricks.

Moustafa at the omelette station and Mousa at the Chinese restaurant. These guys work really hard for long hours so we suggest that you tip them if you are happy with the service. We couldn’t tip everyone but did it a few times as we thought that they really deserved it. We also met some very nice people whilst there and we will definitely keep in touch with some of them.

This will always be a special place for us as we got engaged here. We will be definitely going back and I will recommend this place to friends and family.

Thank you for a wonderful holiday!

Arrived on friday the 13 'september . Nothing unlucky about this hotel. We came for a relaxing break and that is just what we got from the moment we arrived the staff made us feel part of their family. I am not going to name all the staff just the general manager mohammed who was a wonderful host . The hotel is and I think will be the best in the area for a very long time. So if you want to just recharge your batteries this is the place .Mr Frank and Miss Linda.

This hotel is absolutely fantastic, food was lovely with really good variety, right on the beach with amazing snorkeling and the water as warm as bath water, but I have to agree what sets this hotel apart from anywhere we have stayed is the staff. The manager Mohammed who went out of his way to make sure everything ran as smoothly as clockwork. The cleaniless of the rooms was second to none and we looked forward to the amazing towel art from Wikeem on a daily basis. Special mentions to Ibrahim, Ahmed and Abrahim who all had a ready smile and looked after us on the beach. Amir who had kept us supplied with snacks at the outside bar during the afternoon and all the other staff in the restaurants and the bars who helped to make our holiday so special. We both have very pressured jobs and this hotel was just the ticket for complete relaxation and recharging of the batteries - Thank you very much !!!

Room Tip: Beach views are lovely !!
