“Fantastic relaxing holliday.”
Reviewed 26 June 2014

We just came back to Holland from our vacation at Premier Romance. The hotel is very luxurius, the staff is amazing, and the food is good. The beach is beautiful, clear blue water and lots to see underwater. We also did a snorkling trip by boat wich was really nice. No kids in the hotel, no loud entertainment, en because the hotel is not so big there aren't masses of people everywhere wich is really good. You can always find a place at the beach or in the restaurant and you don't have to wait for anything. We also went on a trip to Luxor, a long drive, but amazing and really interesting if you want to see the real Egypt. We will definitely come again.

Stayed 13th to 20th June 2014.
This was our 2nd visit to the Premier Romance having stayed there in March 2013.
We were looking forward to the holiday and this time came with another couple. We were hoping that the hotel was going to be as good as it was on our 1st visit having given our friends a good review and we were not disappointed.
We arrived over 3 hours late to the hotel as a result of a delayed Easy Jet flight but were immediately taken to the lobby bar for a well needed drink. Unfortunately the delay meant we missed the evening meal but the hotel did put some cold meats, cheese, rolls and fruit in our rooms. We asked if Adam was still working in the hotel and Sas, who worked in the Lobby bar, advised he worked in Lounge bar now. So I went down there and not only was Adam there but he remembered me from 15 months previously, my name and also my wife's name, very impressed....throughout our stay Adam was always very attentive to ours and our friends needs, couldn't have asked for more. Adam was ably supported by Reif in the lounge bar a very helpful and pleasant man who always greeted you with a smile. Shouldn't forget to mention Sas in the lobby bar, a great character and joker who always greeted you with a big hello and smile.

We stayed in the Deluxe room on the 3rd floor this time, a very spacious and well decorated and clean room. The rooms were always spotless when we returned from the beach and credit to the house staff.

The beds on the beach were very comfortable and you were always well looked after by Ahmed the towel man. You were also served with water and asked if you wanted a drink by Another Ahmed the drinks man on regular occasions. An especially nice touch was that at about 11.30 am each day Ahmed the towel man would bring everyone on the beach a nice ice cold flannel, very refreshing in the heat.

As to the food, well the buffet restaurant was always well stocked with a good selection of food, breakfast was a bit samey but lunch and dinner usually gave you a good choice of food. Wouldn't say the food was superb but you wouldn't go hungry. The Chinese and Italian al a carte restaurants were exceptional , great food, good wine and great service.
There was also a nice touch in the buffet restaurant in that the staff tried to accommodate my friends needs, as he is a celiac and is glutton intolerant, and they always advised if there was something they he should avoid, particularly with respect to the soups, which I must say were especially good.

Mention should also go to the service manager Tahir, he was always attentive to your needs, made sure everything was ok and not only did he do this in the restaurant but would also come to the beach and ask all guests if everything was good, nice touch.

Our friends said that they have never been to a hotel, and they have stayed in many in Europe and the Caribbean, where the staff were so friendly, caring and helpful....very impressed.

A couple of small improvements would be
1) include speciality coffees in the all inclusive deal I.e. Cappuccino, latte etc
2) include a few imported spirits and after meal drinks like Baileys.
3) change the requirement to sign for everything, it is all inclusive and therefore you shouldn't have to sign after your meals or drinks you've had. This doesn't happen in other all inclusive hotel that I've stayed in.
4) more variety of potatoes other than frozen chips and jacket potatoes.

So, overall another great holiday at the Premier Romance.

Room Tip: All rooms are good but the deluxe rooms are larger.

First impressions - beautiful lobby, very welcoming staff, lovely! Room - great bathroom, big bed, air con and black out curtains. Purfik!

Slept so well that we never got to breakfast, although we're sure it would be great based on dinner and lunches in the landscape bar (fab!)... Please note that you need trousers (not shorts) for evening dining.

Beach or pool? It doesn't matter as both are idyllic and expect anticipative service. Taher, the general manager has ensured that his staff are well trained, professional and offer some of the best service that you're likely to find on any package holiday (including Kuoni and Sandals resorts). They offer a perfect balance of professionalism and friendliness making you wonder if it's worth going anywhere else on holiday.

For a few drinks after dinner the stylish Romance bar, captained by Sas (the ultimate barman) is a great place to relax. We drank a multitude of 'apple coolers' during the day and later 'lime beers' & mojitos....YUM!

This hotel really does care that you have a great time and wants customers to return. We had a wonderful holiday so a big thank you to all the hard working staff that we hope to see again soon.

S&S

Room Tip: A room with a sea view is a must (but we think nearly all of them are anyway)

23rd June 2014

This is an honest review of our stay at this hotel.

The comments below is what I have submitted to Thomson, who we travelled with. We are still in Sahl Hasheesh but certainly not in the Premier Romance.
-------------------------
Please see below our comments regarding our recent short lived stay at the Premier Romance Hotel, Sahl Hasheesh - we require the comments below (not in order) to be sent, unaltered, to your office here in Egypt and also the UK along with your report - please don't hesitate to discuss / pass the comments to the hotel and in particular the GM when he returns from his vacation.

1 The booking was made with Thomson for a 2 week stay in a basic (superior) room, All Inclusive basis 13th to 27th June inclusive - which covered our 25th Wedding Anniversary on the 18th

2 A room upgrade (Deluxe) was arranged with Jessica Metzger, Customer Relation Officer prior to departure from the UK at an additional cost of 30 USD payable locally upon arrival - the room upgrade was requested for room 1220 as my wife had stayed in that room in 2013 with a girlfriend. We were informed by email prior to leaving the UK that 1220 was not available but similar room in the same part of the hotel had been arranged.

3 Upon arrival at the hotel we were shown to a basic room

4 We returned to reception to explain that we should be in higher grade room, no information was available at the reception, I produced the confirmation mail from the hotel - this was greeted in a very rude and ignorant manner by the hotel clerk "go and sit down and wait I have other guests to check in" - The reception area was empty so this "instruction" was hard to understand.

5 While sitting and waiting in reception we were lucky enough to meet Mr Taher, the recently appointed hotel Service Manger, - this was a blessing in disguise as Mr Taher was the most attentive and concerned member of staff throughout our unfortunate stay.

6 Mr Taher took us to our correct standard of room, which was in the opposite part of the hotel requested and confirmed and once again unfortunately was not to our required standard.

7 The only rooms left were the 2 suites, priced, on hotel headed paper at reception at an additional cost of 250 USD per night - however the reception clerk wanted to charge us 300 USD per night, with Mr Taher's assistance we secured the suite at a cost of 175 USD per night.

8 Although the suite is shown on the hotel video, displayed in the lift, to have sun lounges and a jacuzzi these items were not available on the suite allocated

9 The curtains in the suite didn't close - so at 5.30 AM it was broad daylight in the suite, I woke to find my wife sleeping on the settee as the bed mattress was like concrete - she couldn't sleep in the bed as it was so hard

10 The suite bathroom had no air conditioning, also no windows were in evidence so the bathroom was very hot and stuffy.

11 We decided that we were not prepared to pay this additional 175 USD for what we perceived to be a totally unsuitable room, we were then moved to Room 1226 a deluxe room and we were informed that the night in the suite would not be charged for and the room upgrade to deluxe would not be charged - this was not asked for, the hotel offered this arrangement - thank you

12 Breakfast was a shock - it was so dark in the dining room it was quite unbelievable - the standard of food, food presentation and the ambiance was well below what we considered to be 5 star.

13 We attended the beach to find that the beds were taken and that in any event were so close together it would be uncomfortable to stay there anywhere, it was if every inch was taken by beds - so we went to the pool.

14 At 0930 we attended the "Arrivals Meeting" were we made our thoughts of / to the low standard of the hotel quite clear to the Thomson representative and I even mentioned then that I was prepared to be flown home.

15 When we returned to the pool we were meet with the noise of hammers and nails due to an extensive fencing job commencing to the rear of the hotel - this fencing work continued for 2 days - continual hammering of nails into wood - a large area of fencing which is partitioning off an area of land which is soon to built on - this from members of the hotel staff.

16 The dining room, in our minds, resembled and reminded us of a motorway service station and certainly not of a 5 star hotel

17 Dark, drab, unkept, lack of organisation describes the dining room, we couldn't understand why the hotel staff wouldn't turn the lights on.

18 The pool area, although the best area of the hotel, was still lacking - 6 broken, but useable, umbrellas to shade something in the order of 20 / 30 sun loungers. Ice was brought to you in a bread basket, yes you read that correct - in a bread basket!

19 There was a bar area at the pool - which was never stocked or manned throughout our stay - a waiter came around perhaps every hour to take orders for drinks and then you would have to wait 15 / 20 minutes for the poor soul to go to the main bar downstairs for the drinks of coffee / tea / water etc.

20 The majority of carpets throughout the hotel are stained, particularly on the 2nd floor and at times the corridors had the most unpleasant of smells

21 The hotel lifts were very often out of order, my wife and I were trapped on one occasion, we were not the only ones to become trapped, when I reported the fact to the reception it was meet with a shrug of the shoulders and no action was taken.

22 The Al la Carte restaurants are widely advertised, however what is not advertised is that after one meal "free" as in "All Inclusive" basis of the holiday and subsequent visit you have to pay for meals.

23 Our first Italian Ala la Carte meal was on Monday evening, following the ordering we waiting 1 hour and 15 minutes for the order to arrive at our table - there were 2 other tables in use so it was hardly busy - after one mouthful the meal was refused as they were both cold - my wife and I walked out in disgust - this was reported to hotel management at the time, a report compiled and submitted under the direction of the duty manager - the issue was, as all other issues, reported to our Thomson representative Ismail.

24 Mr Taher requested that we give the Italian restaurant a "2nd chance" so on Tuesday we had another booking for the Italian restaurant. Throughout the reservation we were waited upon by Mr Taher and the food was delicious and service excellent - well done & thank you Mr Taher - you are a credit to the hotel.

25 On the 18th (Wedding Anniversary) we had a reservation in the Chinese Al la Carte restaurant which was equally as nice as our previous evening in the Italian.

26 To celebrate our wedding anniversary Mr Taher had arranged a large fruit platter, some chocolate cakes and brûlée desserts to be delivered to our room - a wonderful touch - thank you again Mr Taher

27 Although the holiday was All Inclusive, should we have wished to have further meals in the Italian or Chinese restaurant there would have been a charge for this - I can't remember seeing this written anywhere.

28 My wife and I don't drink alcohol and I was astonished to find out that when I asked for a coffee in the lounge bar at precisely 1 minute past midnight I was informed I had to pay for the drink - this was explained to me by the waiter.

29 Regardless to the time of day if I wish for fresh fruit juice or a cappo - chino I had to pay for for the pleasure.

30 If I wished to have entrance to the Espresso bar after midnight I had to pay 5 USD entrance fee and then pay for drinks also

31 At each meal taken in the main restaurant you had to find your own seats, plates were not cleared from "finished" clients, you had to request waiters for tea, coffee or water. Many times we had finished our first course, return to the cooking station for our 2nd course return to our table only to find the dirty plates still on the table - this happened many times due to the shortage in numbers of waiters.

32 One particular day the waiters wore waistcoats - I remarked to my wife that "something was going on" shortly after professional photographers arrived to take cover shots for Trip Advisor web site - this was confirmed later by a member of staff for the reason of the waistcoats - they were removed the second the official team departed.

33 We returned to staff / waiter normal standards of dress - dirty cuffs, training shoes, and one particular member of staff in jeans and boats - I ask you!

34 At one breakfast the chef was actually texting /playing with his mobile telephone while still "cooking" my omelette with his other hand.

35 The standard of restaurant, the food and the service was far below that expected of a reported and advertised and sold 5 star establishment.

36 The hotel has a dress code - so as a 5 star hotel I can't understand why men are allowed to walk around the hotel reception areas in speedo trunks and no shirts, women allowed to walk around the hotel in bikinis - I don't mean bikinis with a dress over them, I mean walk around the reception area in bikinis !

37 Evening meal on Friday men were in shorts despite the hotel insisting on long trousers for the restaurant at night, when I highlighted the fact to hotel management I received a shrug of the shoulders and " he might not have any trousers"

38 Saturday morning was the "peace de resistance" at breakfast a man was allowed into the restaurant in his speedo swimming trunks and running vest tucked in to them ! NOT shorts but swimming speedo trunks leaving very little to the imagination

39 I went directly to restaurant to complain and was told, beyond my belief, "Mr. XXXXXX this is not a real 5 star hotel" this was told to me by the Customer Relation Officer Jessica Metzer in front of Mr Amr who works at reception - I couldn't believe by own ears. - she went on to say that shorts despite the signs to the contrary are sometimes allowed in the restaurant at evening meals and providing swimming trunks were not wet they allowed to be worn

40 Having had the hotel management confirm to me that the Premier Romance was not real 5 start hotel I made arrangement to find alternative accommodation to a 5 start standard - which is what I had thought I had purchased my Thomson. as Thomson failed to provide accommodation to the standard that we expect of a 5 star establishment I have now found myself something approaching £2000 out of pocket, that is addition to the cost of the original holiday paid to Thomson which has failed to meet the standards expected and as sold by Thomson.

41 I kept Ismail informed each and every day of our very low opinion of the hotel

42 Ismail explained there was not any other 5 star Thomson accommodation except La Rive which due to the size he believed I would not enjoy - we booked the Premier Romace on the Thomson selling as a 5 start luxury boutique hotel - I am afraid in our opinion Thomson has that completely and utterly wrong and have, to my wife and I, miss sold the hotel.

43 We kept Ismail informed of our dismay each and every day and what we believed to be a unsatisfactory hotel / holiday

44 I have photograph and video evidence - which hotel management requested I delete, of preparation works for the building of apartments / hotel some 10 / 15 meters from the hotel pool. This preparatory work consisted of a hydraulic excavation machine digging trenches both by bucket and even worse by use of a hydraulic drill - this as I am sure you can imagine caused a great deal of noise and dust all over the pool area of a 5 star establishment !

45 Should anybody wish to see the photographs or video please do t hesitate to ask either myself or Ismail as I have given him a copy of one segment of video.

46 At no time during our stay despite constant complaints did the deputy manager or any other senior manger approach my wife or I to ask about our points - I approached my Thomson holiday representative every day to make complaints - a fact I am sure he will confirm.

47 My wife and I have been visiting Egypt since 1997 having stayed at 5 different hotels in Luxor, 2 different hotels in Cairo and one in Alexandra, and 2 in Masa Alam so it's not as if we are unaware of Egyptian standards.

48 To compound the situation my wife stayed in the Premier Romance with Thomson during 2013 and she informs me that at the time the hotel did offer 5 star surroundings and service and was very well looked after by the GM - who unfortunately was absent from the hotel during our stay, more is the pity.

49 My wife has also stayed at the Premier La Rive with Thomson and along with Ismail thought I would not like to stay there due to is size.

50 As you can hopefully see from the points above, we are not comparing the Romance with anything but other Egyptian hotels / service and I strongly point out comparing the Romance of 2014 to the Romance of 2013 - again the drop in standard was confirmed by Ismail as the La Rive has now taken the No 1 spot from the Romance.

51 I would like to say a special thanks to Mr Taher who went far beyond the call of duty in trying to assist us but he couldn't improve what we consider to be dire standards of accommodation, food and service

52 The service and sessions in the Spa were excellent

In closing I would like to reiterate a couple of points:-

At no point did any manager deputising for the GM approach my wife and I to discuss any issues or perhaps most bizarrely customer relation officer Jessica Metzer didn't approach us to discuss any points - don't understand that basically I thought that to be their jobs.

I vehemently believe that speaks volumes for the disdain that is shown in this hotel, a complete lack of respect and service.

I have left my contact details with the hotel and requested the GM make contact with me before I depart Egypt on Friday 27th in the hope that he is willing to discuss the situation and issues put forward both verbally to hotel staff plus the contents of this letter.

When you read this review you entitled to draw your own conclusions but you can count on a few things, I don't tell lies, if you are used to any sort of standard of service, food or enjoy 5 star treatment The Premier Romance is NOT for you.

Dear guest,

Thank you for your review and sincerely regret that we did not meet your expectations.

We want to draw your attention that:

Any special request subject to the hotel availability but we are always trying to do our best to achieve our guest requests, also we want to highlight that your wife had stayed in 2013 in room 1122 not 1220 (according to the hotel system history).

There is a Jacuzzi in both of the suites bathroom since the hotel opened (mentioned before on tripadvisor: Traveler photo by PCT21:"Jacuzzi bath in Royal Suite 4000"(May 2012).

There are two AC units in the suite and a ventilation unit fixed in the bath ceiling.

The curtains in the suite are working effectively and in the bathroom an electric curtain is provided.

There are no chaise lounges in the suite terrace but they are available if the guests request and you already were told that they are available.

We were told that the mattress is not soft enough as your good selves need then we handled it.

The restaurant light is little soft to provide a romantic ambience and to keep the character and atmosphere of the hotel (with clearly vision ability) also we have increased the light level.

We have one of the best organized beaches in Hurghada, we can also say in Egypt.

Your good selves were asking everyday by our service manger regarding the food & beverage services (restaurants & bars) and everything was very good.

Regarding the slow service in the restaurant it was once during the rush time (we do apologize) and it had handled by the F&B manger.

The chef wasn’t texting while cooking but he was watching the timer to be able to present the item on time according to the standard.

There was a fencing was fixing outside the hotel next to the pool area for a minutes which is in role caused some noise and no dust at all was in the pool area due to the enough distance between both of pool area and place of work. Unfortunately the hotel management was not told to be able to inform all our guests and when we saw that they are working we decided to inform our guest but we surprised that they had already finished.

We have a bar waiter available in the pool area during the operation time of the pool, sorry if any delay may had occurred.

Your good selves got the all inclusive letter upon arrival and the all inclusive menus are available in the hotel outlets. Also a full explanation is presented by both of your rep. and the reception.

Dress code is applied: Shorts, muscle shirts and slippers are not allowed in our restaurants for dinner time. Neither swimming clothes nor bare feet are allowed in the lobby and restaurants at all times. The guests who are walking in the lobby area with Speedos or bikinis just to get their room.

Our guest relation confirmed that short and T-shirt are acceptable in the breakfast & lunch only and the swimming clothes are not.

Your good selves have treated professionally by (guest relation officer, night manager, service manager and the assistant front office manager).

To make your holiday more than expected and to make your anniversary memorable, a special treatments were offered from the first day until departure time as part of our continued ambition to improve guest services at the hotel.

A full explanation had sent from the hotel part to who it may concern.

We hope that the above mentioned points are truly clarified the situation.

We welcome all comments, as it helps us to get better. Once again thank you for your feedback and we take all feedback seriously and we wish you all the best for your next travels.

I have travelled all over the world and stayed in all sorts of hotels so will try to be as honest as I can about this hotel.

My husband I chose to stay at this hotel to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We arrived and check-in was quick and we ordered 2 gin & tonics from the bar, they were very good and we were delighted that we might actually enjoy a drink on holiday as most AI's we have stayed in the spirits have been vile. I am not sure if they gave us premium alcohol that evening as no drink the whole holiday tasted as good as those. Mojitos were the most acceptable, I think the mint did it's best to out taste the terrible alcohol when some was added. The drinks sometimes tasted non-alcoholic.

We were shown to our room which was lovely and clean and had everything we needed. There is always a lovely floral scent wafting around the hotel. Lovely gesture by the hotel was that a platter of bread, meat, cheeses and fruit was left covered up and we thoroughly enjoyed eating this on the balcony before we got some sleep.

Food in my opinion was very good, lots of choice and tasty. I never had a meal where I struggled to find some thing to eat. Good selection of fresh fruit both for breakfast or at other meal times, this is something I miss while on holiday. I have been to Egypt 4 times now and in my opinion this hotel was the best. I liked the snack bar which was served on the plaza in the afternoon and served sandwiches, pizzas, pasta and salads. The restaurant could be quite dark during the day and it made a nice change. We tried both the a la carte restaurants, both were ok nothing amazing. The service in the italian was very slow and it took us about 2 hours from start to finish and by the time my steak was served I had no appetite as it was so long in between courses. However they did make a delicious cake for our anniversary which again I had no appetite to eat. I enjoy a glass of wine with my meal, the wine here isn't brilliant, the best being the white in the buffet restaurant. I found the red to be the best in the a la carte restaurants and probably the best out of the bunch.

I have never stayed in an AI hotel and had to pay if I wanted more then a standard coffee or pay to enter a bar which was situated on site. The expresso bar had a $5 entry charge and all drinks were payable. Needless to say it as ALWAYS empty.

The highlight of this hotel is the staff. They are so caring and friendly. Mid holiday I became ill and my husband the day after me. I have no idea if it was the fault of the hotel and I lay no blame either. On hearing we were ill the staff could not help enough. Providing us with warm mint teas to settle our stomachs and asking us every time they saw us if were any better. Everybody was amazing!

The beach and the pool were fab, very peaceful and tranquil. Lovely comfortable sunbeds and never had an issue obtaining one.T he snorkeling isn't fab and I was a little disappointed, however I did see a stingray. I went to recharge my batteries after a hectic tour round Asia and this hotel certainly did that. I have never slept so much in ages, the bed was very comfy.

To sum my stay up, this hotel is good but it never provided me with a wow factor. I can't put my finger on why, maybe because I have stayed in 4* hotels that have given me the same service and satisfaction. In Asia (Cambodia and Vietnam) we stayed in 3* with equally nice decor, service and food, plus high speed internet in your room with a laptop to use thown in. By the way don't expect good internet here, one day it didn't work at all and when it did I got frustrated and gave up on it.

I would recommend this hotel to friends, it really tried and I did enjoy my stay.

Stayed here for a week from June 6-13th with another couple. We usually stay in much larger hotels so it made a change to stay in a smaller one.
The resort of Sahl Hasheesh is very quiet and at first we were a bit concerned that we might get bored. Also, a lot of it is still a building site and we wondered if we'd end up with construction noise - not ideal on holiday. Neither was a cause for concern. I don't think we ever heard any work going on in the hotels under construction and the peace and quiet of the resort was bliss (only really appreciated after we picked up others for a trip at several hotels in Hurghada). There is plenty to do if you want to go out and find it, or you can just spend your time relaxing on the beach being served by the excellent staff of the hotel or dipping into the beautifully clear Red Sea.
We were waited on hand and foot during the holiday. The staff are all incredibly friendly and helpful and work really hard to make sure you have a good holiday (particular thanks to our lovely beach waiter who regularly arrived with a smile, a cheery word and fresh drinks and our towel guy who made our beds up for us).
The food, particularly the Chinese and Italian restaurant, was great with lots of variety. Also, because of the size of the hotel, it didn't feel like you were back in a school canteen which has sometimes been our experience with larger hotels. It was great to be able to sit outside and order lunch too.
And I can't end this review without saying a word about the manager, Tahar. All of our party was incredibly impressed by the fact he was constantly visible and went out of his way to chat with guests to make sure everything was going well on their holiday. He seemed to be around at all hours - never in your face but always checking to make sure the hotel guests were enjoying themselves. I can only say that he clearly lives and breathes customer service and his staff do the same. OK so sometimes it might take a while to get a drink when you're on the beach (the bar is quite far) but you know that the staff are clearly working their hardest. If there were a couple of suggestions to make they would be:
1) establish a bar on the beach so the poor waiters didn't have to run backwards and forwards to the hotel to get cocktails
2) for reception to keep a good chunk of smaller bills on hand so that customers who had been given large bills in their foreign exchange could easily change it up and be able to tip regularly in recognition of good service
3) it would be nice if the swimming pool area stayed open a little later so you could relax in the jacuzzi after leaving the beach
4) perhaps take another look at the evening entertainment which while highly amusing for our party (without it actually meaning to be) could definitely have been better (i.e. a singer who can actually sing!)
And for anyone going to this hotel, I would highly recommend tipping the staff - it doesn't have to be much. They do work very hard and will do their very best for you. They won't give bad service if you don't tip them but they do so very much appreciate the recognition of their hard work.
A final word - for those of you interested in diving, I would recommend going to Pro Divers Corner (on the hotel grounds). You will probably see Julianne (English lady) on the beach. She is not pushy at all and will enjoy just having a chat with you. In fact we chatted to her several times about her time in Egypt and it was only the day before we flew home that 3 of our party decided to do a trial dive. Their experience was absolutely brilliant and all wished they'd done it earlier in the week.

A lot of what I want to say has already been said, but I wanted to reiterate it myself. I work in a service based industry myself, not hospitality or anything hotel related, but in an industry which people will readily point out faults. I mention this because it leaves me well equipped to find fault in service I receive. At the Premier Romance I could find nothing wrong. Taher, the customer service manager spoke to us daily and made sure everything was to our liking. He has impeccable standards and a great eye for detail, and ensures that his staff follow in the same vain. He also genuinely cares about his role there, and it shows in the service you receive. Because it is a smaller hotel it has a very personal feel, and everybody knows your name and greets you with a smile, all the staff make it feel special and welcoming, and they too really seem to care and want you to enjoy your stay. Ahmed, our drinks waiter on the private beach, which is excellent by the way, always greeted us with drinks already made and he again couldn't do enough for us, and was always laughing and joking with us, I cannot thank him enough for making our stay excellent, as well as Haytham who danced and sang with us whenever possible, as well as serving us dinner and looking after us with a level of service I haven't experienced in any 5 star hotels in the uk. This place was paradise to us, the rooms are excellent, the hotel is very well appointed and maintained, and all the staff there ensure you get a holiday you cannot fail to enjoy. I would recommend it to my own mother and all my family and friends, truly excellent hotel, and my thanks again to Taher and his colleagues, they make this hotel somewhere I want to go back to.
