“Enjoyable stay in the sun”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 17 March 2014

We stayed for a week at the beginning of March. 2014 The complex is much bigger than we expected and you can use the facilities of the two neighbouring hotels. The hotel provided good value for money; for us, we enjoyed the location, the hotel is close to the airport, our room was very clean, and the warm sunshine was very welcome. We thought that the food was of a good standard and plenty of variety. We felt a liitle pressurised to tip continually to get the best service, and not to be given the opportunity to tip at the end of our stay. We felt that if we had stayed for longer there would have been a lot of different things to do. Don't book trips at your welcome meeting wait until you have been offered alternative prices by Aqua Centre on the beach, you will save at least £30 each. If looking to purchase duty free goods wait until you get to Hurghada departure lounge, very good prices.

Room Tip: Ask for a room further away from the entertainment area

A nice hotel on large terrain with a delightful beach. The rooms (jointed bungalows) are simple but well equiped and good showers. The food is good but not very varying however with a little creativity you can eat every meal something different. Friendly employees willing to help you, also without a tip. Enthusiastic animationteam. A lot of facilities, and guests of Jasmine may also enjoy the meals (on reservation) and facilities of the neighbour hotels Alladin and Ali Baba. One minus: no free wifi (4 eu /hour)

Room Tip: we stayed at the 600-serie, recommended

clean relaxed hotel with rooms as bun galows over the resort,m wich is connected to the resort of Alladin and next Ali Baba resort, all with separate beaches and swimmingpools to be used for all guests of the three hotels.
Only one pool is warmth and the water there is about 24 degrees, other pools are very cold.
food is ok, not great, white wine not cooled but never a problem to get a drink during meals or at the bars or lobbies.
it was quiet cause of bad political atmosphere, but its not noticable in that area. I returnewd from here last night and feel still in very big holidaymood.
I will go back.

Room Tip: low roomnumbers close to the restaurant and lobby. higher numbers close to the beach and pool.

This is most definitely a little piece of paradise. Great accommodation, plenty of room, no people below or above you making a noise at night as you are staying in little apartments. Food is good, and there is something for everyone - more traditional in main restaurant and pizza etc in pool restaurant. A beach, a pool, plenty of different areas to sunbathe and sit out in the glorious sunshine. Mini golf, tennis, small train and other activities to take part in around the resort in the day and entertainment every night. They even had a small club (if you could call it that). Beautiful place with welcoming people (mostly). Beware of the perfume shop owner who will ease you in with a cuppa and rack up a bill of £100s on perfume/oil which is not even very nice! You will be forced to leave and he will become irritated so just don't go in. Another personal issue was that they kept monkeys in smallish cages - they looked healthy but not happy as they didn't have much to do. However, I always find these sorts of things upsetting when I go abroad, and I can imagine that it brings in business. Apart from that, can't fault the place. Cleaning staff are great and go that extra mile, tea and coffee available which is a bonus, and internet that works! Beautiful place, I would definitely recommend. (We stayed December 2012, there was no option for this in the 'when did you travel' section.)

If you work hard at home and want to go somewhere where you'll be treated with respect and dignity... Don't stay here! From the booking in, staff were rude and spoke down to you and this theme followed through the week. If you find a half decent member of staff the best thing to do is stick some cash in his hand and he will treat you like you would expect to be on holiday. I wanted to pay for a room upgrade but wasn't allowed, I wanted to pay to keep our room on on the last day for a few hours but wasn't allowed.
I have stayed here before, a few years ago and also at the sister hotels. It's a good job the sun shines as there isn't much else going for this place now.
Everyone you meet tries to get one over on you and rip you off. Very tiresome after a week of trying to relax. Sorry but never again.

My wife and I stayed at the Jasmin Village Resort in Hurghada during December2013.
Our stay was absolutely wonderful. The days were warm for this time of year, but the nights were quite cold (down to 5 degrees C)
The room and the food was good, with a variety of cuisine and the facilities in the room were great, meeting all of our needs.
The restaurant manager Sabour Mohy was a god send!!!!!!
He arranged to provide me and my wife extra facilities in our room to meet our needs, during our stay, at no extra cost!!!!!!!
One could not ask for anything more than that!!!!!!!!
Each day we had breakfast in the Main dining room and there was an egg - station, outside in the open restaurant, providing every conceivable type of hot eggs (scrambled/poached/fried,etc) that one could ask for. The staff working at this station, really produced the most inviting food you could ask for. I visited the station twice a day every day!!!!!
The room was on the top floor and located not too far from the main building.
The balcony/terrace was massive. The views of the landscape gardens and the sea was very tranquil. The Pool was good and the loungers were very comfortable.
The beach was fab too with a snack bar for ones needs.
The amazing part about the Jasmin Village is that there are two further hotels on the nearby complex (The Aladdin and The Ali Baba) Also The Jasmin Hospital was located on the grounds of the hotels.
We were informed by our rep that we could use the other hotel facilities as well. This definitely made our stay more exciting and at the same time have more variety of food and entertainment as well.
The entire stay was wonderful and I would recommend this hotel and all the facilities, plus its sister hotels, to anyone who wants to have a really good time, a good rest and be looked after the whole time if needed.

Room Tip: The entire hotel facility provides excellent accommodation. The Main building is good for convenien...
