“Fabulous Hotel”
Reviewed 24 June 2014

My husband and I stayed for two weeks all inclusive in October 2013.
The hotel was very quiet especially the 1st week. Our room was on the 2nd floor overlooking the titanic palace (both hotels are linked and you can use both facilities) the first week the Titanic Palace was closed. There's are lots of pools many empty and so you could have exclusive use. The beach area is lovely with the usual bar and snacks. The area is quite flat so you have to walk out far to get to the deep area to snorkel. There is a jetty with sun beds and steps to get to the deep beautiful coral and snorkelling area. There is a lifeguard and even a car service to take you up and down the jetty.
The food was ok breakfasts amazing with the usual omelettes and pancakes. Mornings you vou,d get cheese and not again the rest of the day. What was served was lovely but could do with more choice. However they have to cater for lots of nationalities. We ate at the Italian and the Indian both were lovely. The staff are amazing and so friendly. The wine and beer was drinkable and the spirits ok (mild and sort of alcoholic taste) cocktails not great ( tasted like dilute squash).
We had the misfortune to arrive on the plane with a couple with their two children who were drunk on the flight and had there booze confiscated. There was a round of applauds from the crew when we landed they were so glad the couple were getting off. They stayed at our hotel and were embarrassing. Poor kids! Drinking all day long having the staff deliver large trays of constant alcohol. They both bee de up injuring themselves thought their drunken behaviours.
We caught the free hotel shuttle bus into the Marina and ate in two amazing restaurants. One serving buffalo steaks and the other gorgeous proper cocktails.
We went in the snorkelling trip to Mahaya and had lunch on this idyllic island. Amazing day. And also did the quads bike camel ride, horse ride dune buggies, donkeys and horse. Food was served and entertainment provided belly dancing and nail beds!! I would go back to Egypt again all the hotels are amazing. But I would chose carefully one with a better selection of food ( and I'm not picky at all with food!)

Me and my partner have just returned home after a week here and i want to go back already. The hotel is beautiful, absolutly huge, we spent the first night trying to find our way around due to its size and found it great fun finding all the bars. The booze was great, particularly the rum and coke. And the beach bar was brilliant, one of the staff on the beach bar made our holiday, all the staff are brilliant, they love the english and will do anything they can to help. The food wasnt great but we were never hungry. Once you found something good we stuck to it. Our double room turned out to be a kingsize, and was very homely. Only bad thing was the electric cutting out alot but it was the same over the whole of egypt not the hotels fault. Our days out were fantastic, very well planned. The staff are working non stop to make the hotel as nice as it is and they have done a great job. Will be returning next year for sure, just got a year to wait now :( dont listen to the bad reviews, our stay was our best week ever, luckily for me i didnt listen to the bad reveiews and thoroughly enjoyed my stay :)

Room Tip: We were right at the end by the beach and on the top floor, a hell of alot of walking but was lovely

The water park is good fun, though you do question whether they need more attendants on the slides. The staff in the hotel were great and so keen to help. Didn't venture out very much - get bombarded as soon as you step outside and then abused when you say no thank you. Had been told Hurghada is better than Sharm for this but I think they are pretty equal.
Did the dessert safari trip which was good fun, though the bedouin village is not particularly authentic when the child who apparently survives without electricity was checking texts on her phone when she thought nobody was looking!

We returned for the third time in 2 years at Easter half term and as ever found the staff to be wonderful. The animation staff had changed from our last visit in June but fit the better they made a real fuss of or little boy joe who loved them. The hotel made a big effort for Easter which was a great surprise with a huge BBQ and loads of entertainment, there was even an Easter bunnie pen set up in reception for the little ones.

The hotel and pools were clean and fresh beach towels etc everyday.

Water park staff were superb as ever especially Omar.

Unfortunately ...... the food has defiantly deteriorated since our last two visits however you certainly won't starve , the al a carte's are good especially the Mexican's Lebanese .

Before slating this place based on the food alone do please bear in mind what you'd spend on all your drinks, food , towels etc in a 24 hour period per person if you were self catering anywhere in the UK or Europe and try being a bit sensible! We've just booked to return next Easter at a cost of £30 for all three of us per day it's still amazing value even if you eat out the odd night or two!

PS the marina makes a lovely evening out of the complex and there a free return shuttle bus.

Stayed at hotel for 7 days. Room 1215

Great hotel, great facilities and decent food. I have to say the place was HUGE!! but in some way it was also very homely and welcomming,

The reception staffs were top class, very very helpful. Please keep up the good work!!

The waiters and cleaners were also top class. They work incredibly hard and i really hope managemnet treat them well. They do a difficult job with a smile....fantastic!!

The Russians....lets not go there....all i can say is thank god for fellow Britonians!!

The aqua park was great but note for management....PLEASE ENSURE THERE ARE NORE RUBBER RINGS....very dissapointed with this. Really spoilt my experience. Plus the best slides are barely open during the day, again a great dissapointment!!

The rooms are dent. The hotel is massive so if you have young children then it is advisable to stay near the reception/food area.

The food itself...ok to start off it wasnt great but as the days went it wasnt too bad. Yes it definetly could be a lot better but wasnt all to bad. Lots of choices and fresh dishes. Again note for managament....try and improve the food a little, believe me it will make your hotel of the best.

Overall a great hotel and we really enjoyed our stay.

Room Tip: Stay near the recption and food areas....Hotel is massive...going from the aqua park to the resturan...

Ok so where to begin..... Arrived at the Titanic on the 6th June, Check in was fine and room clean and comfortable. Until that is the cot for my 17month old arrived, which I’m surprised made it to the room without breaking apart. If the bars of the cot where not missing they where protruding, making it completely unsafe. Not to mention the mattress was ripped and absolutely filthy, although they tried to hide this by laying what appeared to be the back on a sofa/chair on top (see pictures). My child ended up sleeping in the bed with us, throughout the holiday.

Next we visited the late night food restaurant and was presented with what we thought were leftovers, and decided that the food would better during normal hours. O HOW WE WERE WRONG... let’s just say the food we ate the first night, was actually the best the hotel had to offer. The food was absolutely appalling, by the 3 day I actually sat in the restaurant with my head in my hands and wanted to cry. I was wondering how we was going to get through the next week without wanting to go home. The smell was enough to turn your stomach and each day was the same.. 5 out of the 11 nights where saved by McDonalds/KFC.

I know some people will say that " your will never go hungry" but there are only so many days you can eat chips, rice, eggs, and watery overcooked pasta. At one point we even took to buying noodles & cheese from local supermarket and eating in our room. We complained to the Rep, whom told us we was aware of daily complaints and knows the hotel is on a downward spiral. Even when we left the hotel, locals in the shops would ask us how we are finding the food. They all responded that they are concerned people would not return due to the poor food available.

This issues it a huge shame, because the hotel and staff are brilliant (apart from the guy who works in the games room, sits on his mobile and scowled at you, if you try to ask a question). The pools are brilliant and the grounds are lovely, the staff work extremely hard for their money, can speak at least 3 languages and are an asset.

I think Titanic owes it to its customers and staff to acknowledge and act on these complaints. I myself will never return to this hotel because I do not work all year long, to not enjoy myself where I go away.....

Just returned from this hotel yesterday as a family of 4 2adults 2 kids 9 & 6, firstly watch out at arriving at hurghada airport soon as you go through the arrivals theres men stood with your name on cards shouting you over to buy your visa from their booths once you get there they take your passports off you and try to over charge you lucilky we had read about this the morning we flew so we demanded our passports back and after some unpleasantness he unwillingly gave us them back, you need to go straight to the left as you get through the door to the banks where it is £15 each and you can pay in dollars euro egyptian or english, not £25 each as they tried to sell us at the other booth,

Hotel, set in an amazing location plenty to do, waterpark is great and plenty to keep the whole family entertained, the majority of pool staff are great (however some of the attendants are very sleazy towards women and especially young girls when they are on there own ) and if you want a mat or inflatable to use on the slides you actually have to go into the water and wrestle one off the russian kids who dont know the meaning of the word take turns, the attendants were not interested if you complained just told us to take it off them, pools and pool area nice and clean.

Rooms, basic but clean and comfortable, fridge stocked daily with bottled water coke and sprite.

Beach, again a short stroll next to water park but nice with free sunbeds and windbreakers and parasols, end of the pier was amazing for snorkelling saw some amazing fish, tip take some water/ beach shoes as sand is quite stoney and alot of hidden coral and rocks in the sea, we didnt and ended up paying £25 for some at the hotel, (2 pairs for £8 in sports direct here!!!)

Food, this is what lets the hotel down, you certainly wont starve but as someone said on previous comment prepare for carb overload we lived on chips pasta rice and bread buns after 3 days we coulnt face the circus of the restaurant any longer rude russians pushing in left right and centre queing 20mins for a plate of pasta with watery tomatoe sauce we complained to the management, we were told they have to cover 5 food groups on the menu it has to be rice pasta potato meat and fish but this is exactly what they do cover those food groups it was the same horrible beef in a watery gravy for dinner and tea for the two weeks we were there!!! we were offered 2 extra al a carte vouchers the italian and chinese were nice, but the best meal we had out of desperation we got a taxi at the front of hotel around (£3.50 each way) and went to mcdonalds at senzo mall this was the biggest portion sizes we have ever seen none of us finished it,but it was so nice to see the kids eat something, never been on an all inclusive break and lost weight!!!!!

Excursions, we did two and booked through our hotel rep Sawy he worked for blue star travel and we totally recommend them went on a boat trip to paradise island snorkelling fab day out, and we did sahara park in the desert on quads camel rides again brilliant value for money and we all enjoyed felt safe out and about, and the best thing on both trips we had two gorgeous meals included, so we know its not all egyptian food just this hotel

in summary hotel, beach, and water park is good, staff in general are good with the english but the food is awful awful awful!!!!!! due to this we will not return to this hotel but we really loved Egypt.
