“Seems like this hotel hasn't changed at all - still terrible”
Reviewed 5 August 2014

We spent a week in this hotel back in January after spending a week on the Nile (which was a great experience). The Tianic beach is DEFINATELY the worse place we have ever stayed. This is due to the absolutely awful food. After a couple of days we both became ill due to the food - this continued for about 2 weeks after we got back to England - our GP said we had contracted a bacterial infection due to very poor food hygiene standards. I would recommend that you DO NOT stay at this hotel as it can severly affect your health.

We also had a poor experience with the hotel room staff. I bought some (expensive) souvenirs to take home which were stolen! (they were too bulky to put in the room safe) Also a mobile phone charger was stolen. When we complained about the thefts we were asked to prove that the items had gone missing - we showed the receipt and were told that this wasn't enough "evidence" so the hotel did nothing about this.

We will never go back to Egypt due to the terrible experiences we had at this hotel which is a shame as The Nile particularily is beautiful.

We arrived to the hotel around 9pm was shown to our lovely room with beautiful views from the balcony.
We went through to the palace as they serve late dinner which was nice.

Rooms = I had a twin room with balcony. The room is massive with a huge walk in shower very clean the balcony looked over the quiet pool side and you can see the beach was breath taking. If you can upgrade id recommend a swim up room. My room was lovely but swim up rooms are better

The pools are lovely and clean. One side is quite hectic with the swim up bar volley ball nets and the entertainment staff also music is played all day. English music.
The other side (which I went everyday) was a lot quieter so perfect for me and my daughter.

Food was good. Wasn't amazing but wasn't bad. We never went hungry the beach bar serve chips hotdogs burgers pasta and salad. We ate in the Lebonese and it was lovely.
You have to pay for ice cream but they wasn't expensive.
Coffee wasn't that nice but in the pirate bar they had a Nescafé machine so I managed to get my lattes which were nice.

The staff were friendly and as soon as they realised we were English they couldn't do enough for us. I didn't even tip a lot either. The bell boy asked if he could have my left over toiletries I had left by the bin I thought this was sad they haven't got a lot so was happy to give them to him plus a generous tip.

The aqua park was brilliant I found the less busy times were around 12 lunch time as every one went for food so you literally had it to your self.

You can get wifi but not sure how much as I set my phone up before I left for £35 for the week through vodafone think the hotel prices were around £50 for the week. So maybe worth contacting your phone company first.

They run shuttle bus to the marina everyday but I never used. They have a taxi service from the hotel. Stick with them a lot safer then flagging one down outside.
Not even 10 mins to senzo mall in taxi and you can arrange with taxi driver to wait or return for you a few hours later for around £10 return

I went on the desert safari if you go please make sure you take loads of water and head scarfs and sun cream also enclosed shoes as it's so hot

I went on a boat trip to mahmya island to snorkel. Beautiful stunning island and we had lovely good there aswel.

All in all the hotel was lovely the holiday was amazing and I am already looking at re booking ASAP ;) hope this helps everyone please don't listen to the bad reviews I can be fussy but this hotel was amazing :)

We went here as a group of 10 kids from 15 and 6 adult. When reading the reviews we thought the food couldn’t be that bad, IT WAS! If you haven’t already booked DONT i didn’t believe the reviews but honestly the food is crap, we ending up going out alot of the time to eat!

We booked with Loveholidays and first of all we didn’t have a transfer to the airport.

We booked our hotel called ‘Titanic Beach Spa and Aqua park’ but this isn’t a hotel there are 2 hotels that are connected ‘Titanic Beach’ and ‘Titanic Palace’

We was then made aware we was meant to be in the Titanic Beach but had been upgraded to the Titanic Palace well this was not really an upgrade! Said that you get more a la cart restaurants but the food is that bad you don’t want them!

The rooms are the same in both hotels and are clean and tidy.

Titanic beach has a better pool bar and more of an atmosphere in the day time and all the entertainment (not that we watched it) is over that side.

Buffet food was not hot, chicken was still pink, we ate a lot of rice and bread! The a la cart didn’t get much better! Not much choice on the menus and restaurants no atmosphere or even music just a random room some of them in the hotel!

Drinks are ok not the best but what you can expect for an all inclusive.

We went on some trips one called Badawaya (I think that’s how you spell it) sounded really good quad biking and karting through the desert and all sorts but was rubbish not worth the money!!!

We went to an island call Mahmya and was beautiful great snorkelling and got lunch was lovely would really recommend!

We also booked our own trip before we went and cant recommend it enough!!!! www.ScubaHurghada.com we had our own boat for the day which was a family run really lovely crew members and then a few of us did a scuba dive and the instructor was great! When emailing in the UK always so quick to email back and answer any questions and really helpful! I would say best day of the holiday!

Also visit the new marina for food restaurant called Dunes and The lodge are lovely!!!!

Beautiful, clean and large hotel with a lot of pools and aquapark with slides. If you love the water, you enjoy it, especially now in the summer.
You can go to pool after the breakfast, aquapark runs until the 10 a.m. You can spent without problem even two hours in the water, so do not mind the pools are closing already at 6 pm (sometimes not).
Those who prefer the sea, may be on the beach, from which there is not direct access to the sea, only 400 meters through the shallows, or you can use a concrete pier, on which constantly runs a small MPV and transports tourists from the bank at the end of the pier. There is a small coral reef, bordered fishnet(?). There is a lifeguard too and you can observe lots of colorful fish. You can spent more hours on the pier, there are some chairs, but take a bottle of water with you, there is not a bar. Fishes is the best to lure for bread from breakfast, which is prohibited, but it brings more experience - make it almost all.
All inclusive 24h includes food and drinks, including a beach bar and refill the minibar in the room.
Breakfast is without problems, have good omelets.
For lunch and dinner, I recommend fried rice and noodles or spaghetti, which should be flavored. The meats are the best fried fish and roast duck. Chicken cut is random, but also not bad. Other meat is tough or dried (also big tuna fish).
Snacks are only frites with burgers and sausages - morning and afternoon and lunch at the beach bar.
The other food to value are pastries and cakes.
The helpful and friendly staff in all restaurants and bars

Just back from 14 nights at the Titanic Beach Spa & Aquapark.
The hotel is quite large and shares facilities with the Titanic Palace next door, which is good for restaurant choice and pools, however , having chose this hotel particularly for the Aqua Park for the kids, it does not cater for two hotels worth of guests trying to use one aqua park.
Sun beds around the pool were just not available, unless you tip the pool guys who will 'reserve' them for you early (if they can beat some very early risers !) but they do try and find beds if they can.
The slides are good and during our stay we didn't have to wait to go on them, even though the hotels looked pretty full.
The Beach is lovely very clean and lots of fish at the end of the private jetty(where you can snorkel for free) it's very shallow and you have to walk quite a way to get above ankle height but it's like walking into a hot bath!!!
You get asked quite a bit about trips and beauty treatments around the pool and at the beach but if your not interested they do tend to leave you alone, although some of them are really worth doing and are a great price.
Before we left to come to the Titanic Beach the reveiws we're not great especially about the food, I would like to confirm that the food was great especially having been to Egypt 3 previous times this was by far the best . There was plenty of choice in the restaurants at breakfast, lunch and dinner and if you wanted to stay by the pool or beach the beach bar served hot digs, burgers, chips, pizza and salads so really couldn't fault the food at all. The rooms are more than adequate and we tipped our cleaner and he put extra drinks in our mini fridge , they don't earn much so for around 100 Egyptian pound(£10) for the 14 days it was worth it.
We didn't venture to the shopping mall(senzo)as we had heard that it was a bit iffy, but there are a number of little shops in the hotel and just outside that sell most things that you would want to buy on holiday and they are always open to bartering and you can get some really good deals.
All in all would recommend this hotel for a cheap all inclusive holiday in lovely Egypt as the weather is fantastic if not a little too hot(45) but that's why we went!! It's different to Sharm but both are defo worth going to for a different Egyptian experience.
Rooms nearer the beach (2000 onwards) are quieter but a bit of a walk to restaurants but as your on hols time doesn't really matter! There are a selection of different rooms available , swim up huts and swim up rooms or just the normal room all are just as good as each other. We did enjoy this hotel and Aquapark but wouldn't go back as there is not much in the way of entertainment but if that doesn't bother you then ignore the really bad reviews as it really isn't that bad at all.

This was our third time in Egypt, first two times were in Sharm and we couldnt believe the difference.

We are great believers that there will always be something to eat in the restaurants but not this time. The standard of the food is appalling, and lukewarm at best. There are hygiene issues in the Chinese restaurant at lunchtime with raw and cooked chicken being handled by the same hands and placed on your plate without using utensils.

They have an outside bar which is underused and people have to congregate in the hotel lobby which is lifeless and has no atmosphere.

Entertainment is basically non existent and consists of 30 mins every evening by the Animation Team at half 9. It is more entertaining watching the Animation Team trying to remember th dance routines during the day.

We are home now, and the most disappointing thing is that we won't remember the holiday at all. We tend to ignore the negatives and concentrate on the positives but not this time.

We have just returned from a 2 week stay at the Titanic Beach. I am not going to moan about the Monarch flights or delays or the airport rip off's as this is nothing to do with the hotel.

Last year we stayed at the Primasol Titanic aqua park down the road so we knew what to expect as far as food was concerned. If you think you are going to be getting amazing food like the all inclusive holidays in other countries you will be sadly disappointed. Then again when you look at the price of the hotel (excluding flights) it is amazing what you get for your money.

We did have an issue where we had already upgraded at the time of booking to the family suite to be told on arrival they didn't have one. They put us in two rooms and said we should be happy as this meant we now have 2 bathrooms! as it didn't have adding doors it would not work for us as a family. My wife then told them exactly what she thought in a very no nonsense way and low and behold our family room appeared the next day.

The food is plentiful but lacks variety and taste. Personally I was pretty happy eating bread pudding and cold rice pudding for breakfast! However for the wife and kids toast and some chocolate pastries was all that was edible.

Lunch was another complete waste of time with the same bland mess in the restaurants, burgers and hotdogs at the beach bar and at the chinese restaurant chicken nuggets and chips. Funnily the chinese at lunch was nearly all british people and the chicken was surprisingly good.
However it was insane how long you had to queue for to get served. I mean it could take an hour to get a small portion of chips and a few lumps of chicken.

Dinner wasn't that inspiring either. My advice is to eat at the palace next door as you share all facilities and the food and general atmosphere seemed a lot better.

This was the biggest difference between last years holiday and our stay here, the staff behind the desk were miserable, unhelpful and downright rude. I am not sure if it was due to it being ramadan so they were tired and hungry but they were useless and as about as effective as a fart in a jacuzzi.
The bar staff, cleaners and pool staff on the other hand were excellent, very friendly and do long hours but are always happy to say hello and have some banter.

This is a large and varied complex with a decent aqua park with immaculate gardens. It may need a bit of a refresh here and there but on the whole is very nice.

The pools were plentiful but as everyone says you need to get up at 7.00 am to get a sun bed. I know we all like to moan as Brits but it was never that hard to get a lounger on the Beach or even at the wave pool area in the water park.

We met the friends of the lady who's was beaten up by the russian man already mentioned on here, so I won't get into it, lets just say that you will not find many places in Egypt now without a Russian presence and even though some were very nice and pleasant, the majority were the polar opposite.

The bars never had COLD drinks apart from beer, half the time the drinks machines were out of coke or sprite and you got a mouthful of flat soda water instead.
The cocktails you get for free were surprisingly okay though.

The reason we go back here is for the red sea, snorkelling and scuba around here is amazing. The beach here is very shallow and when the tide is out, it is way out. However if you walk down the private pier (or take the funny little bus thing to the end) the snorkelling is amazing with hundreds of different shaped and coloured fish.

The red sea is beautiful and so full of life. We book all our trips with the red sea star company and scuba from their own huts on the beach by the pier, by far the best value, best experience and best staff we saw. Haggle though and buy a few trips in one go for the best deals. You can also scuba directly off the pier which we did as well.

This was the biggest issue we had, I took our 5 year old daughter along with a 7 year old friend and signed them in, I then wrote no in the box to say if they were allowed to leave on their own. When the friends mother went to collect them she was told they had let them go to the toilet alone. After checking every toilet and not finding them you can imagine the mothers reaction. In the meantime thankfully the kids magically appeared back at the pool with us unaware of the issue. Heads rolled for that one! The staff at the kids club seemed bored and so did the kids.

The Animation team couldn't have had a worse name, they lacked any kind of real spark and enthusiasm and just were plain annoying most of the time. The evening shows were very poor and were repeated each week.

We also had a bad experience with the free bus service to the Marina (which is absolutely lovely) where we weren't picked up and were left stranded until 1am with 5 young children in tow. This was run by Ramesys taxis in the hotel lobby. My advice is that you can get a better deal on a taxi out front of the hotel.

As much as reading all that back you may think no way would you go there, we still really enjoyed it. We paid £2000 for 2 weeks peak season for 4 of us in a family suite. We had amazing weather, incredibly diving and great times out on the boat trips. We made new friends and had many fun nights chatting and joking.

A holiday is what you make of it and we made sure we don't let things bother us too much and we enjoy all the good bits.
