The resort is very well located, in the center of old city hurghada. Hotel rooms are rather old furnished, but ok for Egypt. We wanted a good room, so for 10 dollars we got the royal suite (the only one in hotel), but i didn't liked the view. Eventually we change it with a smoller room but with pool view. The food is ok for the first 3 days, than you get tired of it and you need to eat somewhere else. That's why we were delighted to stay in the center. The pool is big and very clean, but the towels are very old. The hotel beach is clean and well maintained, but we didn't have a lot of time to spend there because we bought 4 trips from our travel agency (Cairo one day, Kings valley, discovery safari and scuba diving). The animation team is great and you have a lot of fun with team members. We loved it because we had something to do every evening (cobra show, disco, fachir etc). In three words: very good stay!

I really enjoyed my holiday at Le Pacha resort. When I saw this hotel from outside I was really worried what did I choose. I said to myself OMG such a horrible place. But when you enter reception and you walk through garden you will will change your mind. It is little bit old hotel after refurbishment but nothing was missing there for spending pleasant holiday. Rooms are very cute with nice decoration. They meet criteria for 4 star hotel ( I really appreciated MTV music channel on TV). Food was little bit tasteless for me but you won't be hungry there( choice of pizza, kebab, tzaziky, humus, greeksalad......) Food after some time is repetitive but most of the hotels have the same problem. Hygiene was for 100%, non of us had running stomach or any digestive problem (we tried local juices, drinks with ice ..everything). Beach was bit small but nice + good beach bar and snack bar. I was little bit disappointed that is not possible to walk along the beach as each hotel has owned private beach which is protected by fence. Water nice and clean I recommend shoes as you can find small corrals in the see. All inclusive service finished at 10:00pm which was too early for us, but we could managed ;o) Animation program every day, all day and evening. You can eat in Chinese and Italian restaurant for free once for your stay. Part of this hotel is caligula Disco. In the evening I recommend to visit New marina which is few minutes walk from your hotel. Nice place for night out, lots of English pubs with live music.

Had two bedroom apartment. Basic accommodation but cleaned everyday with new linen and towels. Cards for beach towels given. Beach Volleyball and Water Polo most days. French Bouls, stretching and water aerobics in the mornings. Table tennis by the pool but the bats could do with replacement. All these are free to use and participate in. This resort is mainly used by Russians and Germans. The all inclusive option of approx £25per person per day is not an option we took with 2 adults and 3 teenagers. It was so cheap to eat out. We paid between £25-£40 for an evening meal with drinks. There is a Metro supermarket a couple of minutes walking left out of the resort. This is open 24/7 and has all your needs at competitive prices, 2 litre bottle of pop 0.65p. The taxi from the airport should be 30LE with an additional 10LE for the airport ticket. You have to negotiate this before getting in your taxi. We were charged 100LE as we didn't know this information but we paid 30LE on the return journey once we knew what the going rate was. The tours run from inside the hotel (Sherif) are about 25% more expensive than the local tour operator shops along the main road. The Marina is a nice place to eat in the evenings and has many restaurants to chose from. If you want a typical Egyptian meal, Summerland was good value, no alcohol is available at Egyptian supermarkets or restaurants tho. Sakara, the local beer is fine and if you like red wine, I would recommend Omar Kayyam. I would recommend the trip to El Gouna, we saw dolphins whilst snorkeling which was a bonus. I wouldn't bother to see the show 1001 nights - it was a bit of a let down and not worth the money. Travellers cheques are not accepted in any of the banks and the only place to get them exchanged is a Thomas Cook shop near the Marina but wouldn't bother taking them as they charge you 2% . There are many cash machines around and one right outside the hotel. The Greek Restaurant opposite the hotel called Acropolis serves very tasty food and shisha. If you are going to buy shisha make sure you dismantle and pack the main tube in the hold luggage and not hand luggage. We got stopped but luckily had a laid back security guy who could be persuaded with a few chocolate sweets to let us go through. As there has been a huge reduction in tourists with the government issues, there was 1,000 people at Le Pacha last year at the same time and there was a maximum of 100 whilst we were there. The traders are desperate for business so they do hastle you to look in their shops. There are some shops that have prices on and these are much less stressful than the ones that dont as they like to haggle and always start at a very inflated price. The temperatures during the day were usually around 30-40degrees, the pool 20 degrees and the sea 24 degrees. The sea was lovely to snorkel in very clear and lots of fish to see. If you go on a snorkeling trip, take your own snorkeling equipment as they charge you to hire theres. The jeep safari was great fun, the camel ride included in this trip was very short which suited me as I had done this before and the shorter the better, the bedoins will ask you for money at the end of the very short trip once they have taken your photo with your camera. They will snatch the money, so be careful. On the subject of money, please check your change carefully. There are two 50 notes one 50LE and the other is 50 piastres. At today's rate 50LE is roughly £5 and the 50 piastres is about 5p. The animation team, Tom (Greek), Chris (German), Margarita (russian?) were all friendly and welcoming. The gym was 5Euros per visit and had 1 treadmill, 1 crosstrainer and various cable weights and free weights. No water available and no televisions or music so very boring unless you take your own entertainment.

I stayed at this hotel for 2 weeks. It is nice located at Hurghada downtown. The rooms are fine, kind of old but it was OK. Staff were incredible, very friendly and helpful. Don't go for All Inclusive. Pay for your own food outside. Food is terrible, Everything taste the same or, nothing. The advantage is the hotel is by the beach. But, to be a private beach, there are too much sellers (travel packages, massage, snorkeling,...) and a lots of Russians.
They have nice swimming pools. Also, they have pool tables, very old and you have to pay to play. Internet is also paid and very slow. Fitness Center is also paid.
