This is by far the hardest review to date because it should be 5 stars but for the food . So check in best yet been to Egypt numerous times can be painful this was not. 1st Major downfall mos buffet the 1st night brought a wine list out prices from £15 ish no thanks just all inclusive wine please we said ,we don't have any u have to pay this was some kinda scam as it happened in other restaurants as well but the Sara who was lovely sorted it out for us and we had nice wine all week. So food well yeah pretty bad very cold and no choice really had a chicken sandwhich 1night and I eat anything main prob in mos was the heat tho could off done with a microwave couple off mentions the omelette man was top draw in the morn and ask for hot coffee unless it will be cold.We tip well and it showed we had the best table most nights and could not get to the bottom off the wine glass courtesy off Alaa and Mohamed who mainly looked after us outside ! Cactus bar was good basic but good. ,pink elephant also good both only a 10 the full but still full cos u can't book in cos staff numbers seem low . SHUT was Asian ,Italian and the moon one when Asian did open u had to pay same as the moon thing why not sure ALL INClUSIVE !patio bar was good for snacks but was chaos no body knew who was serving who the little guy seemed to boss people about but he was the weakest link in our eyes ,so yeah food situ is pretty poor worst yet I'm afraid and it kills me to say it cos the hotel is amazing ..moving on to the pools all brilliant should maybe have a warm kids 1 but the heated 1was nice ,never really got on with the towel man who people love on here seemed arrogant had all the kids out the pool bang on 5 so he could tidy up and prob go ,last few days new towel men came and they had no rules kids still in at 6 to Half 6 all strange really ..wow good points hotel is the best looking hotel we have ever seen and the room was spotless and big with great views ,I had I minor accident in the park no ones fault really had to go to the hospital the hotel managers were superb paying for all costs and showing genuine concern for the rest off our stay but massive thanks and I told her to Denise who was great informing my wife what was going on while I was away Denise was also in charge off customer service and booking restaurants she can not be faulted as can't reception and managers .. Never really went into the other resort looked shabby as we walked to the beach but looked as thou work was being done to spruce it up .. Beach also was good all in all very good ... Last but not least our star off sentido and also our friends that we met there was the bar man in reception who worked like a Trojan looked after us and the kids always had a massive smile that is HANY SALAH what a legend loved him !!! So would love to give it 5 stars this is my working out hotel , grounds , staff , 6 stars food only 3 sorry added is 9 spilt in 2 is 4.5 ... But as you say in previous reviews your working on the food so all good for the future we will be back in the future cos we loved it as a family and met lots off new friends also !...

Room Tip: We had ground floor was fab but prob better with a balcony as your not allowed to hang swimwear out...

Dear guest, thank you for choosing to stay at the ROSS resort, and for your review. We are indeed delighted that overall your visit was enjoyable. We have taken a few of the points made very seriously and working towards improvements. We have also made some temporary changes to resolve the food temperatures, As for the choice on the buffet, we try to please as much as possible and feel the choices offered are ample, although we can't please everyone's taste, we certainly try our best. Thank you once again, it's been our pleasure having you with us, and we all look forward to be of service to you in the nearest future. Kind regards from all of us

Just returned after a fabulous six days spent at the Sentido. We stayed from the 22nd Feb until 28th and my only complaint is that I wish we had stayed longer. We travelled as a group of 7 and were in rooms 2134, 2135, 2136 and 2137 not far from the cactus bar. The rooms were immaculate and we loved the little touches - the welcoming towel and drink on arrival, the handling of luggage, the plate of canapés in the room on arrival, the towel guy- a Real Madrid fan - by the cactus bar who polished my sunglasses, and the towel art by our wonderful friendly cleaner- all of these are the extra touches which make your resort a cut above the rest.
We had planned this trip to celebrate our daughters 21st birthday, and having travelled in the Caribbean on several occasions we had heard mixed reviews about Sharm El Sheikh, particularly food and stomach upsets, so we were naturally anxious that it would not live up to expectations.

Food was a very good standard. We alternated between Mo's and the beach buffet La Citadel for breakfast. Both were excellent with plenty of choice and attentive service. We didn't catch names but two of the younger tall waiters in Mo's were brilliant - nothing was too much trouble for them. The only minor issue which was frustrating was the contradiction in dress code in Mo's restaurant. The men in our party were told they weren't allowed to wear smart shorts in the restaurant which we were aware of, but this was not enforced with all of the restaurant users.....maybe they got past the eagle eyes of the staff! One rule should surely fit all.
In the evening we ate at the themed buffet in Mo's on occasions, but we also tried out the Pink Elephant and thoroughly enjoyed the choice of meals on the set menu. The patio heaters kept off the evening chill and the excellent food soon warmed us up.
The cactus bar offers a choice of grilled kebabs and other meat and fish and these are grilled at the table. Again we could not fault the quality of the food or the service.
Drinks were plentiful and the patio bar provided an excellent alternative at lunchtime if we were by the pool or snacks from the beach bar if we wanted to make the most of the sun, and pizza from pizza corner provided a tasty late night snack.
It was nice to see that there was always somewhere open throughout the day or even late at night for something to eat or drink, and a special mention must go to HanySalah for his endless supply of cappuccinos and charm!! He certainly went out of his way to make our holiday extra special.

The weather was fabulous while we were there, hot in the day but a little chilly in the evening - which is only to be expected at this time of year. There is no shortage of pools - we loved the fact that there was a pool around every corner - creating mini resorts where you could literally have a pool to yourself. We tended to use the heated pool and the beach most but the more hardy amongst us dipped into the other pools on occasions if only to use the swim up bar.....well you have to try everything!
The water park was another attraction which made this hotel more appealing, and the younger members of our party used this on several occasions - be careful using some of the slides though - they are fast and we collected several bruises along the way! It didn't stop us using them again though!
We loved the beach, especially the jetty which went out over the coral reef so you could get up close to the tropical fish even if you didn't want to go in the sea. The staff on the beach were equally attentive without being too pushy. We were offered opportunities to go on snorkelling trips or go diving but we were happy hiring goggles and flippers and swimming from the beach or jetty. We were also impressed how staff switched from one language to another and how they remember faces - all part of the service.
All in all we had a wonderful holiday and six days wasn't enough to do all we wanted to do. We were lucky to book the quad safari on the Thursday before we left as these had been unavailable during the previous week. Again thoroughly recommended. I had been put off coming to Egypt due to the political unrest but I cannot praise highly enough the welcome we received at the Sentido. It is a large and well planned resort with surprises around every corner and it feels a safe place to be.
We were invited to a cocktail evening in the Asian restaurant for a feedback opportunity but due to our tight schedule we had made other plans that night. However having done the research using your site we felt it only fair to feedback on the quality of this hotel. It is clear to see that the management care about customer service and quality, and their presence and attention to detail is evident all around the hotel. There is on going maintenance which is unobtrusive, but shows that standards are being maintained. We hope you keep it up as we would love to visit again!

If you are looking for first class service this hotel is a must. All the staff are AMAZING and nothing is too much trouble for them. Sentido bar man Hany (with the glasses) remembered our drinks order from the first day and brought our drinks to our seats or the pool or our room. Guest relations Doaa is so friendly and helpful she helped us with local knowledge of trips and places to see and transport options. She also helped us with getting around the resort and made sure we knew all the resorts features so we didn't miss anything. Duty manager Mr Hassan always cared about our experience within the resort and made sure we were 100% happy at all times. You can not buy professionalism or customer service to this level. The resort itself is huge and beautiful. The level of cleanliness is second superb and the food is excellent although if you stick to the main restaurant it can be a little repetitive however there is so many to choose from you could never be bored. The beach is natural with soft white sand and not manmade with gritty sand like most places in Sharm. And on top of all this there's a water park with slides for kids of all ages!! Not to be out off by the size of the resort there is a free bus that takes you from one end to the other and will stop for you anyway along that journey. What more can you ask for? This hotel is paradise!!

A lovely hotel overall but had a few areas that need addressing. When you pay 3.5k for a family holiday 5* all inclusive you expect to be able to get a glass of wine at the main bar, stage bar or a local brandy etc at the beach bar and not to be told you can only buy a bottle of wine at £30 upwards? Or buy imported spirits as no local spirits at the beach but they do have imported. 2 of the better restaurants, the italian and moonlight were shut the whole duration and finally every time you go to a restaurant you get the expensive wine menu and pay for food menu shown to you first and a couple of times felt slightly awkward asking for the 3.5k all inclusive menu. Way too sale's orientated.

Hany Saleh was amazing, helpful and great with our kids - A real asset. THANK YOU HANY. Bassem was such a nice helpful waiter as well. Henry the boss was not interested in us mear customers and gave us the brush off when we mentioned the all inc issues so not impressed with his Above Us status.

All that said it was still an amazing holiday, thankyou

Gripe

Dear guest, thank you for choosing to stay at the ROSS resort, and for your review. We are delighted that overall your visit with us was enjoyable. I wish to clarify our All inclusive wine concept for both resorts. Sentido resort, Blue Bar 24 hours, Rendezvous from 10am until midnight situated by the Sentido pool, Patio during lunch or throughout the day, and Mo's restaurant wine is served during meal periods. The Beach resort section only serves wine at the restaurants during meal periods, NON of the bars serves wine by the glass as part of the all inclusive. However beer and spirits are served at the Piazza, and all our bars, the beach bar only serves beer and soft drinks. Bottled wine in both resorts are at extra charge, Local and Imported. Do bear in mind that for all imported alcohol in this country there is a 400% tax, this is why imported wines are so expensive. I hope I have cleared the points you have highlighted. Thank you once again, it's been our pleasure having you with us, and we all look forward to be of service to you in the nearest future. Kind regards from all of us

Stayed at the Sentido from the 18th until 25th Feb and had a brilliant time, staff were so friendly every where you went, there were 6 of us staying and were in room 2126 2123 and 2119 which were all excellent, to open your patio door and walk straight out to your sunbed was brilliant, we were right opposite the Cactus bar and the guys there were great always asking if we wanted a drink, the pool man was brilliant to always had our towels ready on he beds for us, it wasn't busy when we were there and for the first few days it was like having your own private pool with waiter service.

We tried the Asian and Indian resraurant which were both excellent and again the staff in both were brilliant, it was my birthday and the Indian restaurant had decorated the table with flowers and left a really nice bottle of wine on the table they also bought out a birthday cake which was a nice touch as well. Enjoyed all the restaurants lunch at the patio restaurant was lovely service could be a little slow sometimes but we didn't have to be anywhere so not a problem!

Booked through TravelRepublic ( as i work there) and paid alot less than most other people, we also offered a pre bookable wifi service which i tried out and was so good and easy to set up, was £20 for the week which was so cheap compared to what the hotel charges and the British couple that meet you Tim and Janet to give you the little unit were so helpful and also run lots of excursions so definately worth thinking about that especially if you have kids.... even if you don't book your holiday with TravelRepublic you can just book tours or the wifi unit with them which i would definately recomend as it will save you alot of money.

Overall we all had a brilliant time and will definately be returning to Egypt and the Sentido Reef Oasis.

If you have any questions then please feel free to e-mail me.

Room Tip: Ask for a ground floor room was great to walk straight out to the pool.

We read some of the reviews before we booked up here, and cannot believe people were complaining. We arrived back on Mon, after a glorious twelve days. The hotel itself is lovely, but what makes the whole holiday is the staff. They were so helpful, kind and thoughtful throughout our stay. We didn't tip until the end of our stay, so the person who said that you need to tip for good service, is totally wrong. There were too many lovely people to name, but Mohamad (young waiter in Mo's) was great. A lovely smile every mealtime, and so willing to help us. Hamy our waiter in the bar at reception was amazing. He was so wonderful, as soon as we arrived he started making our drinks - normally a cappacino and a hot choc.
The food was very varied and of a good standard. There was an amazing amount of choice, and we were very impressed with the freshness of all the salads, breads etc.

Thank you so much to everybody at Sentido, we had an amazing 12 days, and we are already looking into booking again for next year.

Room Tip: Try to book a room near the pool at reception. They seem to be much better quality

We stayed here for eleven nights. The resort itself is really nice, not tacky like most of the hotels in Sharm. The check in was quick and welcoming with a cold towel and arrival drink. We had a room on the ground floor with a view of the heated pool and Mo`s restaurant, this was very handy indeed. The room was nice enough, there is a problem with not having any plug sockets to charge items unless you climb under a table, but nothing major. There are lots of free things to do within the resort from tennis to shisha. There is also a really good aqua park near the main entrance which is a lot of fun for all.

We lounged around the pool lots, and depending on which person is working the pool shift you might be lucky enough to be offered drinks, this service was hit and miss, we didn`t mind going to the bar area to get our drinks ourselves, but every time we did this we would be shunned out again or on one occasion we were shouted at as he was too busy (not mentioning any names). However this was just one person the rest of the staff can`t do enough for you and are extremely friendly, Ahmed who works in the water park is great and good to have a laugh with, he should have a full time position at the main pool bar as he is very friendly and bubbly, as should Sheriff. The pool guy Haitham is great also, he is always there if you need him and will try his best to ensure you are always happy. We also went snorkelling lots, the resort beach is on a great reef, there is also a private part of the beach for people staying here.

Mo`s restaurant is where you have breakfast and this is work in progress. We went for breakfast a couple of times at 9.15am and there was nothing left!! We did complain and were just asked for our room number rather than trying to resolve the problem? Most of the food is unfortunately luke warm, but they are very aware of this and we were told they have new equipment that just needs to be installed. The selection when available is absolutely fine for breakfast, there is an egg section, cereal, bread, fruit, yoghurt, beef bacon, sausage etc.....You also get fresh juice, the tea and coffee arrives warm most of the time, so be sure to ask for hotter water and they will happily change it for you. Sarah & Mohamed are the main two people we dealt with for breakfast and dinner who were both excellent, not to mention Alla!!!! They always greeted you with a smile and were very attentive.
For lunch most of the time we went to the Patio bar which was very slow, but nice once it arrived, Ibrahim is super friendly and went out of his way for us on a daily basis. We also had lunch at Mo`s which had a great selection of fresh salads. If we were at the beach we would have lunch there as they offer chicken kebabs, fresh pizza, burgers etc, this was a nice touch.
Dinner we dined at Mo`s every night, the key here is to get there early to beat the big rush of Russians which will pile their plates high and have all three courses plus bread stacked on there tables, almost as if this was their last meal. The Russians would also stab you in the back with their plates if they want you to move and push in, this is the worst part of dinner. The food is also in need of improvement, the food again is luke warm. They have themed evenings which could be a lot better,I would recommend the teppanyaki which is always fresh and hot! There is always something to eat so you won`t starve, they do have a new exec chef, but we felt he needs to be be more present in the restaurant, not once did we see him check the food quality or temperatures?? There are other places for dinner if you fancy it, but everyone we spoke to said Mo`s was the best.......

The piano man plays every night which is a nice touch while you have a glass of wine, the wine by the way is ok, once the piano man stops they play this awful euro trash music which is on repeat constantly throughout the day and evening. You really need to get some more cd`s it began to drive us mad. The animation team put shows on every night bless them, they are quite bad, but they are entertaining and very friendly. There is also a disco which is open until 1am, this is full of Russians which don`t talk or look at you, they just dance aggressively to awful music again. The bar man there is a little creepy and the DJ is a nice guy...

All in all I would recommend this hotel, it`s cosmetically very nice, and a good place to escape to, relax and unwind. A big thank you to all of the staff!
