We have just returned from 2 weeks at this fantastic hotel and we are already looking to book again for next year. It was so beautiful and peaceful and the staff were absolutely faultless and made us feel so welcome. The attention to detail was second to none. Ahmed Ali, the bar waiter from the Cactus Pool Bar always made sure we had a drink and never went empty handed, he brought us over croissants every morning and was generally attentive as was Ali who had towels on our sun loungers and the umbrella up before we even batted an eyelid, Ali Lotfy who cleaned our room with some amazing towel art and Kirsty the Customer Relations Manager was seriously on the ball and when I was feeling a bit unwell she was constantly checking I was okay and phoned me every morning. We also met some great new friends that we will definitely keep in touch with and the value for money is incredible. The only thing I could fault was the fact that I wish we had stayed longer!

We have had another fantastic two week stay at the reef oasis sentido. This was our 4th visit over the last two years and are busy looking to book now for September for another two weeks. We suggest you try and book for two weeks, one week is just not enough time to fully enjoy what this resort has to offer. We decided on this occasion to spend the full two weeks at the beach. Snorkelling is just amazing off the reef in front of you, if you look to both the right and left there are two wooden jetty that are worth snorkelling to and beyond to further add to what you see. Beach boys are excellent and very helpful in particular Ahmed and Soliman were brilliant for the two weeks, Ahmed English is very good and his banter very entertaining. Try to learn a few words of Arabic from Ahmed, which goes down well with the staff. Mohammad at the Sentio bar on the beach looked after us with drinks every hour.
We mainly ate at Mo's every morning / night, special mention to Kalead / Sarah for looking after us every day, food was good, we did visit the Indian and was a nice experience. Cactus BBQ very nice and worth a visit. Food in General was very good. You have a number of other restaurants to use which in the previous stays have always been good.
Pool room ground floor was good and we advise this is a request if you enjoy the pool as well as the beach. Rooms are clean and spacious.
Reception bar was good, Amara sorry we missed you on last day we hope to see you in September.
Ahmed at the sentido pool bar-was The Star of holiday, he looked after us for the full 14 night stay, you may want to try one of his shesha. We did on many occasions and recommend a visit to his bar.
If you happen to have any issues on your stay, Kirsty your girl to go to in reception, any little problem will be sorted ASAP, we experienced a cold water issue with the shower on one her walk round and when we returned to room it was sorted. In general all the staff were very helpful throughout our stay.

I spent 9 nights at the hotel with my girlfriend and we were both extremely impressed. The value for money was incredible.

The food was good for an all inclusive and there was lots of different restaurants serving plenty of food. We ate far too much whilst we were there! Mos did a good breakfast and we tended to use the Pool side cafe for lunch which served fish and chips, pizza and burgers to order. For dinner we booked at the cactus bar one night, where they serve you a BBQ with different meats and seafood which was very nice and much better than the other all inclusive restaurants. Mos was pretty plain for dinners but some nights it served some good dishes. Its probably worth having a wonder to see what the different restaurants are serving each night. We tried both the Sushi and the Indian al la carte, which you have to pay extra for and they were both exceptional and very good value. We paid £30 for sushi for both of us and £25 for the Indian which was one of the best Indians I have had. For men there is a dress code for trousers in the evenings at most of the restaurants.

The pools were all very nice and very clean.We tended to stay by the smaller pools where we often had a whole pool to ourselves. A big thank you to Ahmed and Ali who served us drinks by the pools and sorted our towels. They were both extremely nice and made sure we always had drinks and snacks. There are plenty of pools to use and as a guest at the reef, you can also use the facilities of the other resorts on the same premises. The rooms were very nice and were cleaned daily. The only thing I would complain about is the lack of wifi in the room as if you wanted internet you had to go to the lobby or pool area.

The beach which is a 10 minute walk was fantastic. The snorkeling was incredible and there was also another bar serving food and drinks on the beach. We didn't use the dive centre at the resort but did a day trip to Tiran island which we booked through the rep Ahmed at reception. We paid £55 each for two introductory dives and some snorkeling. The diving was incredible and the perfect opportunity for any beginners wanting to try. We both did two 20 minute dives as well as lots of snorkeling in crystal clear waters teeming with fish. The hotel also has a pretty good water park with lots of slides.

My only complaints were that the internet in the lobby area and main pool area was tediously slow. It was a real pain to check emails and load websites. As there wasn't any internet in the rooms this was a bit annoying. Luckliy we didn't really need the internet too much but for people who need to do business whilst on holiday this could be an issue.

Whilst the majority of the staff were fantastic there were a few occasions where the staff were telling each other off in front of guests which was quite unprofessional. This only happened on a few occasions though.

My other complaint, which is nothing the hotel can do about, was the very rude Russians who treated the staff horribly and are generally very loud and obnoxious. I've never seen people as rude and felt very bad for the way in which they treated the staff.

Lastly one very trivial complaint was that the pool areas and the patio played the same CD on repeat nonstop. It isn't the longest CD so by the end of your stay you are sick of hearing the same songs. A change of CD would have been nice but this was only a very minor thing!

All in all we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely return and would stay for longer next time. There was plenty to do and we hardly ventured out of the resort. Would definitely recommend this hotel for anyone wanting a chilled beach/pool holiday with lots of food and great staff.

Been back fro here a week and cant wait to go back.
This was our second visit to Sharm and the hotel we stayed in last year was rated number 2 at the time and this was rated 6 ish - cant understand why.
Forget all the wingeing reviews - I couldn't fault the place.
We have a pool view room - 1st floor - literally 2 minutes from the pool. The 2 pool guys were brilliant - Abdel Wahab and Hussein - couldnt do enough for you. Met you as you approached the pool, took your towels to your bed, sorted your umbrella, made sure you were comfortable before "enjoy your day" and off they went. An hour or two later here they come to clean your sunglasses for you. An hour or 2 later here come the cold flannels ... When it gets a bit hot and sticky in the afternoon here they come again with a cold spray to cool you down. All through the day they were around - "everything OK?".
These 2 were a real credit to the hotel.
The main pool waiter in our area (there were a few) was Salem - always smiling, always polite and chatty which is surprising considering what they have to put up with from the Russians. Nothing seems to phase these guys - well worth the tip.
Kirsty from customer relations was around pretty much everyday to check you were enjoying yourself and to sort any issues - we didnt have any.
Its a bit of a stroll to the beach from the Sentido part of the resort - not 10 minutes as we were told, probably 5 but its downhill all the way. Theres a shuttle bus which is literally every 10-15 minutes coming back up if you cant face the trek but its really not that bad.
Theres a pharmacy near the beach with a really helpful guy working there - I had a couple of mozzie bites which needed attention and he was great - doesnt try to sell you what you dont need and what you do need is not expensive.
The shops at the beach have some really nice genuine fakes handbags, shoes, sunglasses etc and they are open to offers so dont take the first price.
A walk across the floating pier takes you over the coral (fantastic to see the fish swimming below you) and off the end for brilliant snorkelling.
The Sentido part of the resort has extra restaurants to chose from but you can use the whole resort with your gold AI bracelet on.
Mo's restaurant is good (buffet) especially the feshly cooked omelettes for breakfast, the snack bar around the corner does really good lunchtime food. the Cactus BBQ was really good - sat outside with your Chateau Briand being cooked nearby and shrimps that must have been on steroids - they were huge. You can pay extra for really good cuts of meat, lobsters etc (not much) but there is the all inclusive part which is good too.
I would definitely recommend this resort to anyone and ignore all the bad reviews - well worth the trip.

PS if you're bothered by mozzies (or not) the only thing that keeps them away is something called OFF (which I hadnt heard of) Forget your Jungle Formula of the Boots one that I swear by - they seem to love these. Get the OFF before you come or its sold cheap enough in the pharmacy.

Room Tip: Ours was 1218 - 1st floor overlooking one of the many pools. (no problem for sunbeds). Pretty close...

i really enjoyed my week away with a friend. nothing was too much trouble for the staff. tips werent expected and we got the towel art without tips :) did tip at the end though. opened our rooms patio doors onto the pool and had sunloungers right in front of us every day. the few children were no bother and pool usually to ourselves. right next to it was the mo's restaurant and round the corner the snack bar. waiters provided drinks regularly and once a day sunglasses cleaned and cold mint towels offered.
kirsty was so helpful and caring every day.
beware of mosquitos and use the 'OFF' in the pharmacy to prevent bites, or the cream he makes if you get bitten
we were offered a buggy to beach and back when we wanted as disabled and mini-bus back and forth didnt go all way onto beach and had steps up to seats.
very hot though and wouldnt go in summer months again. felt very relaxed and de-stressed, more than i hoped for.
very quiet and pleasant day and night. children all enjoyed the aqua park out the front of the hotel so rest of pools quiet
on a very sad note we have both come back with diarrhoea and having seen my doctor last night am awaiting results of what food poisoning i have come back with. my symptoms are worse and unable to work. grumbling tummy, slight nausea and loose stools started the morning of our return. by 3 days later this became much worse. the food was good and i am surprised with how clean everything seemed that this has happened.

Room Tip: ask to be round the pool. some rooms were quite a way from facilities and looked onto garden not poo...

We stayed here from 5th - 13th June 2014 and it was lovely.

The best hotel for snorkelling.

Well worth staying in the Sentido part of the hotel - much better quality.

Food was buffet - good but nothing spectacular. Apart from the Cactus BBQ and Pool side al a carte cafe which were both really good.

Pool side staff are excellent, especially Adel Wahab. He was such a lovely smiley guy and very attentive - cleaning sunglasses, tidying up, laying out our towels on our preferred sun beds!

Loads of very clean lovely pools with very big comfy sun loungers.

Our only negative experience was due to other hotel "guests" - the Russians just being so rude to your lovely staff with absolutely no need. Manners go a long way and none of them had any although your staff seems to take it in their stride!

The Reception bar (Sentido) was fantastic both inside and outside and the coffee's here were excellent.
Lots of cocktails included in the all-inclusive which was good.

Water park was great and good staff here too.

Beach is great as there is a separate Sentido part with it's own little bar. Barman here and the young guy who works in the towel booth were lovely.

Altogether a lovely hotel, we never go back to the same hotel twice but will be returning here - a family room next time!

Had a rest in June a family! Numbers and the truth with bad illumination, such impression that forgot to hang up a chandelier... And for the rest everything was pleasant, to the sea isn't so far, we went sometimes on foot, without waiting for the bus which could go more often! Food good, ate generally at Mo's restaurant, waiters a little lazy, start moving when there is Hakim. Our number 1237 and 1239, Mostafa, very purely and always cleaned the friendly! Separate thanks of Ahmed from the bar La terazza, so friendly and sympathetic, he became for us the true friend! ! ! Does a fine hookah of a melon with mint! We will miss, and we will surely return!
