The hotel itself is lovely, the room we stayed in was just a standard room and was very basic but when all you are doing is sleeping there it was perfectly fine. The beds are really comfy and the air-con is a life saver. The food isn’t amazing at all (especially the buffet) but we didn’t go for the food so it didn’t bother us. I would recommend the fajita place for dinner and cliff restaurant or Panini bar for lunch. One thing I will say is that they don’t provide enough water, I was expecting to see bottles of water everywhere or for them to be replenished in our rooms on a daily basis, but you have to go to the bars, some of which don’t open until 12 or don’t have bottles and will only give you a glass which is fine but sometimes a little inconvenient. So we would ask for 4 bottles each on our way back down to the room and keep them in the fridge in there.
The pools are lovely and there is a pool to suit everyone, if you want to listen to music and join in with the activities (water polo etc) then the second pool by the sweet and crepe bar is the one to go to as that is where the animation team are based. If you want to relax, they have a relaxation pool, with 8 pools to choose from they have it all so just take your pick.
If you are expecting what you would get in a 5* hotel in England or if you are prone to moan about everything, then this isn’t the hotel for you. However, if sun, sea and sunshine is what you are after and you are happy to just chill out and enjoy it then this hotel is the one. Friendly staff and a beautiful location.
I would also like to especially mention the animation team and in particular Chris, Emily and Verity as they really made our holiday for us, they kept us informed about any excursions or nights out and just made the whole experience amazing. We had the best time and loved every minute.
I would definitely go again and wished we could have stayed longer!
