having snorkeld Tiran many times I opted for a day trip with Bubbles Diving School. affiliated to The Sheraton Hotel. Mostly well organized with a group of happy Italians. Our first dive was near Shark Reef. We followed our guide along the coral reef, incredible visibility. There were a number of children and first timers clinging to the life buoy and I stayed behind with a mother and her two children. Unbeknown to us we were being lead towards Shark Reef, an area reserved for divers. A strong current started sweeping us away fro the boat which couldn't anchor because of the strong currents. The guide focused on the kids and I was swept away. Fortunately I didn't try crossing the coral reef and the boat tried meeting me on the other side of Shark Reef. A rope was thrown to me and I was dragged to safety at a terrific speed. A child or weak swimmer , I'm sure, would've drowned. An unpleasant experience! At our third stop our guide was more interested in making commission on taking three snorkelers on individual dives, leaving the rest of us sitting on the boat at one of the most beautiful snorkeling spots! A shocking and disappointing experience from the Bubbles Diving Club ( Sheraton Sharm Hotel and Resort )
