Went there my last night in Sharm El Sheikh.
Nice place to walk, to relax in cafes, to have dinner, there's some shops but I wouldn't say that it's a shopping place since there are restaurants, cafes, ice-skating and bowling places. I would rather say an outdoor mall.
Ate at " L'entrecote ". Ordered an Australian Steak, liked it. Restaurant kinda expensive.
I would rate the restaurant very good and not excellent because the well done steak I ordered was a bit bloody from the inside.
Stayed at the big cafe in the middle of the square, next to the fountain. Great atmosphere, entertaining place, not expensive at all. 9$ for 1 shisha and 2 teas including the shows.

If your looking for a nice place to relax and eat good food then this is the place. It's not authentic Egyptian or cheap (go to old market if you want this and the normal Egyptian hassle), but its a nice place. My fave place is the British pub, queen vic, go for fish & chips (50 le, (5 gbp)) and some nice fresh mango juice! Yum! Also shows are good Tue & Thu nights (9pm to 11pm ish).

I think most of it is owned by The Savoy. Overpriced, low quality drinks especially at some sort of open air bar in the centre - what a rip off. Please avoid

We stayed at the Sunrise Island Garden Hotel, which was about an eight minute stroll to Soho Square.

It is quite an attraction lovely to stroll around on an evening, no hastle at all from the shop keepers so you can browse at your leisure. Items are a little more expensive but you can still try to haggle. I liked a watch but it needed a couple of links putting in the bracelet and they did not have any matching links. We went into Naama bay the following evening and I got the watch there £10 english pounds cheaper.

The live shows every evening are a bit repetitive but entertaining none the less. The coloured dancing fountains are worth watching - lots of places to eat - all in all definitely worth a visit.
