“Excellent Hotel, Excellent Staff”

I'm quite shocked to read some of the reviews on this Hotel as our experience was a 10/10.

We stayed in a Luxury room overlooking the Sea which was fantastic. We had a a wonderful bathroom with a glass wall which allowed you to overlook the sea whilst taking a jacuzzi bath!.

I agree the standard of the grout in the bathrooms was low along with the design which unfortunately caused floods as the layout of the shower didn't catch all the water, but this didn't spoil our holiday.

I must mention that during our stay I unfortunately lost my wedding ring and the staff at the hotel were very concerned and exceptional in helping me find it. Within the hour, it was back on my finger!! unbelievable!!!. I still cannot believe I got it back and have the hard working staff to thank for this.

Extending on the staff, we have stayed at the Baron, Sultan Gardens and other hotels and can honestly say that the staff at this hotel are truly fantastic, on a totally different level than the higher classed hotels!. They will do anything for you so just ask.

Picking up on people's comments regarding being hassled. I'm sorry but if you don't at least engage with the locals then you deserve to be pestered!. We spent half an hour one day talking to a Tattoo guy who only briefly mentioned what he was selling and I believe that if you politely say hello to them (which is what they want) then they will respect your wishes. There is simply no need to be ignorant towards them.

Food in the hotel was OK!, on par with the other hotels we stayed in, Bit repetitive but always something to choose from :).

Overall hotel standard was excellent and would definitely return.

My friend and I stayed here 19-26 April. W were really impressed with the incredibly hard working staff who were friendly and professional. This is a very well run hotel. Superb, wide-ranging menus, hot and cold. Comfortable & clean rooms. Towels changed daily and beach towels provided. Really appreciated the umbrellas & the sea breeze, literally, as the perfect temperatures were in the mid 30's throughout the week.
Congratulations to the Assistant Manager Tarek, Executive Chef Abou Said who made us feel so welcome and Ibraham who greeted us every day with freshly laundered beach towels and a genuine smile.
A fantastic all-inclusive deal through Thomson's. HB

My husband and I stayed at the Xperience Sea Breeze Resort for one week during April, it was our first time in Egypt. On the whole we found the hotel to be clean and well kept. We booked a sea view room; our room was a good standard, the room was cleaned daily and towels changed. We stopped in the 1200 block, which is in the centre, not far from the reception, and a short walk down the hill to the sea. There was a pool by our room, which we used, this was quiet and peaceful to read whilst there. We also used the top pool area, this was livelier with a slide and a bar, where you could order food; the service at this pool was excellent. We also loved the snorkelling in the sea off the jetty, the reef is amazing! Take your own snorkel with you and some aqua beach shoes as you needed them, especially if we want to walk along the shore. We saw plenty of beautiful fish of many colours, on the shore there was numerous jelly fish. The food was plentiful, of good quality in the Tiran Restaurant and we had no complaints. As soon as we sat down Abraham the waiter brought us our drinks, and he always remembered what we drank, he was most attentive and very friendly. We also spent a lot of time in the Zen bar, again brilliant service from the lovely waiter Ossama, as soon as we sat down he was there with our drinks, lovely cocktails!! Overall, the staff are all very friendly and helpful and cannot do enough for you, and always greet you and a special mention to Adel who worked in the Shish Bar, he was a most intelligent man and had a warm friendly personality. The evening entertainment was ok, plenty of fire eaters etc.
The only niggle we had was that when we visited the Health Club we were informed that we just couldn’t use the sauna, steam room and Jacuzzi unless we booked a massage, which was around £90.00. I had a face massage, which was lovely, £30.00, but be warned about the threading (hair removal on your face)..very painful. Best part of the health spa were the sales staff we had lots of fun chatting to the guys every day and they gave us lots of info on the hotel, surrounding area and their home towns of Cairo and Alexandria.
We will go back to this hotel, we found the April weather brilliant as it was hot sunshine low humidity and a lovely breeze which in all made a lovely climate..

Due to dietary problems (coeliac disease) we have always holidayed self catering, which appears to be difficult to achieve in Sharm, so we decided to try Sea Breeze. The staff could not have been more willing to assist, every mealtime one of the chefs toured the restaurant with us, describing ingredients and cooking separate items where required, they even mastered cornflour pancakes for breakfast! How they recognise individual guests, remembering drink preferences etc still amazes me. We could not have been looked after better, by any member of staff we met. If they decide to branch out, they could run a training academy. The problems with the bathrooms have been well documented by others, delightful design idea, not well executed - do not let this stop you booking. TIP:- the first time one person has a shower, a second person watches the water flow and use extra towels to catch where it is running. Personally, I can't wait to return and would certainly upgrade to a sea view room - 1817 is the best! Although we were there as a couple, I would be quite happy to holiday here alone.

We stayed here for 1 week in mid April - couple in mid thirties with an almost 2 year old & mid sixties Mum. We had a deluxe room for the 3 of us which was lovely (although a bit of a trek to the main restaurant) & mother-in-law was just behind us in block 17. Her room was slightly smaller without a bath but of an equal standard & she was very happy with it. Ibrahim who cleaned our room (1814) was great & did good towel art + left us with some inflatables for our son when another family checked out which was lovely of him.
Mother-in-law had a room full of Russians next door to her who partied on their terrace until approx 4am for our 1st 2 nights but after numerous complaints from her, the couple on the other side of them & us, the group were moved to a different room which saved her having to ask for a new room & the hassle of packing/unpacking. We were impressed at the hotel management's stance on this issue.
The staff at the hotel really made our holiday great. They were so helpful & friendly and went out of their way to help where they could. Our son is a very fussy eater and, after having spoken to Michelle (Guest Relations) and mentioned this problem, the executive chef made sure that he made fish goujons for him to eat everynight - they were delicious. We were also given plenty of yogurts at breakfast once to take away because we'd mentioned that he liked the strawberry ones and wouldn't eat a lot else sometimes.
David, the towel guy, and Mohammad, the top pool bar guy, really looked after us every day. The pool was pretty cold at the beginning of the holiday but for the last 2 days it was heated and it really made a difference.
The weather was lovely and we were pleased that there was a slight breeze because it would have been a bit too hot for us otherwise.
We've been to Egypt twice before and both times have stayed in hotels rated in the top 10 on this site & this hotel is certainly a high Egyptian standard. The food & cleanliness is next to none but, as I've said before, the staff are the main selling point.
The only negatives are the steep hill & lack of open space (for a toddler to run around in!). The minibus is a good idea although sometimes it would be hit or miss if there was one around & quicker to walk.
We would highly recommend this hotel as the value for money was excellent and we felt very well looked after.

What a great hotel and staff.

We really enjoyed our stay here, the food was really good and the staff couldn't do enough for you. Yes we did tip but it was well worth it for the service we received.

My friend got bitten by mosquitoes and the hotel management came to see her offered her a room change, sprayed the room and bought her a bottle of wine to say sorry. (It wasn't anyone's fault she was bitten but they took this very personally).

Would stay here again. And I would like to give a special mention to Said the bar man he was great.

Stayed here towards the end of Feb 2012. On arrival, we were informed that our room was not ready for us. However, prior to being told of this we were offered a junior suite twice, once by the receptionist, and once by the manager. I would have preferred if they had just informed us of the error straight away.

The rest of the holiday was excellent. Breakfast was lovely. We had dinner down on the terrace as it was just outside our room, the service was excellent.
Each tea time had a themed night from different countries, which stopped the food from becoming bland.

We stayed in the 1800 block, which have a sea view room and a Jacuzzi bath. The room was probably the cleanest hotel room I've ever seen thanks to Nabil! Great lad, a credit to the hotel, always friendly and chatty. Each day we'd come back to a piece of towel art, adding that personal touch.

We only used the pool near the beach as it was right outside our room and it was very easy to get a sunbed even half way through the day. Sayid ran the pool bar and did a fantastic job, very friendly guy, another credit to the hotel!

We went on a snorkeling trip with the company situated in the hotel, unfortunately the weather took a turn for the worse and we only went out for one stop due to the wind being too high. Myself and a fellow passenger spent the majority of the trip feeling rather seasick.

The hotel also run trips out to Naama Bay at night; definitely wasn't my cup of tea, we just went for a drink in the Hard Rock Cafe. I didn't know it was essentially just one massive market, full of people asking whether you need a taxi!

All in all, it was a fantastic trip, especially if you just want to sit back and relax!
