“Decent 4* All-Inclusive, worth visiting!”
Reviewed 28 March 2013

I had a great week visiting the Xperience Sea Breeze along with a group of freedivers. It is a well run, large-ish hotel that was mainly serving English and Russian tourists when we were there in March 2013. It is built along a relatively narrow strip of shoreline which means that it goes back from the water a long way: it takes 10 minutes to walk from the restaurant & lobby area down to the beach via the accommodation blocks, it is quite steep in places but I didn't find this a problem. I saw one or two people with sticks or crutches who seemed to manage OK. Rooms are large and well appointed with balconies and air-con that works. Staff are extremely helpful and attentive. There were some initial efforts to sell us scuba dives & boat trips etc, but all very friendly and never crossed the line into pestering. By the end of the week I was on first name terms with a number of the staff, Samwil on the beach towel counter deserves a special mention! Freshly cooked food is available in numerous locations throughout the hotel including burgers on the beach and pizzas by the pool. In the main restaurant each night is themed along a different nationality - lots of choice and all quite tasty. The all-inclusive deal means that a cold beer is never more than an arm's reach away, really good for chilling out and not having to worry about the money. The evening entertainment leaves something to be desired (there's only so many times you can watch holiday reps do the birdie song with a bunch of toddlers) but to be honest that's not why most people are there. Some good snorkelling along the coral reef just off the hotel jetty with an amazing variety of fish, although for those wanting deeper water please note that there is a lot of motorboat traffic which runs needlessly close to the shore. Swimming outside of and area of approximately 20m x 20m which is marked off by buoys can be quite dangerous and is discouraged by staff. Day trip by boat to Tiran island is recommended, amazing coral reefs, great for diving and snorkelling. Sharm town is a bit of a dump but worth visiting for an hour or two perhaps to look round the tourist shops. Taxi is approx 10 Egyptian pounds return. All in all, the hotel complex is a very smoothly run operation with a focus on comfort and enjoyment for the guests. I would go again!

Room Tip: Rooms close to the restaurant block & main bar could suffer from a bit of noise in the evening b...

Even though my stay at this hotel has only just begun, I feel compelled to write this review. The rooms are excellent and the service you receive from the tons of available hotel staff is perfect. Shenoda and Nabil in particular deserve special mention, I couldn't be happier with the way they have made me feel at home from the start.

After consulting Tripadvisor reviews (and visiting Sharm x 2 per year for the last 3 yrs) I stayed at this resort 11 to 18 March 2013. I found there was limited choice in the food offered compared to other hotels that I have stayed at in Sharm. It's also the first time I've ever had tough fish(!) or Paella that only consisted of rice and chunks of sausage(!). The reception staff were excellent but I thought there was some totally unprofessional behaviour in front of guests in other areas i.e. a couple of loud arguements behind the scene at the lounge bar easily overheard and regularily overseers in the restaurant spoke roughly to the waiting/clearing staff. I was bitterley disappointed by the miniscule beach (wide angled lens photo's on website). There were too few loungers at the pools and towels "claimed" these even before 7:30am (I noted that some were still unoccupied at lunchtime!!!!). OK if you tipped the pool attendants who appeared to be the ones "booking" the chairs even though there were notices saying those unoccupied within the hour would have the towels removed. Don't bother booking an upgrade to sea view (as I did) mostly are just partial - you have to go out on the balcony to see it and, as the hotel faces east, those rooms loose the sun pm as does most of the pool areas late afternoon. However my room was clean and adequate the staff there were excellent too. The hotel is built on a steep slope with lots of steps so not suitable for everyone but the garden areas are superb! Sorry, but overall the hotel did not live up to my expectations.

Room Tip: For sun choose upper rooms facing west.

Stayed here from 17th to 24th March our first time in Egypt.
From arrival we were treated to a fantastic experience.
We arrived at 8pm to a welcoming nice cold drink and was told we could go and eat in the resturant which when we went up to we had a lovely enjoyable meal of which there was plenty of choice and plenty of it.
When we got to 1201 our room on the ground floor with a garden view and steps down to 3 small pools. The room was very spacious and very clean.
Breakfast was plenty of choice and lots of it.
Down at the beach with plenty of sunbeds lots of activities that you can get involved in if you want to. Mohamed at the bar very friendly and always getting plenty of drinks for you a credit to your hotel!!!
Evening time at the hotel terrace bar and the waiter Alhoseiny was a very attentive host he remembered what we drank every night we were there. He was so friendly and always happy to chat with us even thou he was very busy he is an asset to your hotel!!!
We would highly recommend this hotel as it is a wonderful relaxing place to have a really chilled holiday and be in such lovely surroundings with some of the best staff i have ever come across on my travels.
We would definitely stay hete again
Many many thanks

We holidayed as a family of 5. 2 in our early 50s, daughter & son in law & 3 year old grandson. We all enjoyed a fab 2 weeks in a fab hotel with amazing staff who constantly smile! The food was great on all accounts & every mealtime all of us were 100% happy even though 3 of us are self confessed "fussy eaters" our daughters pregnant so had to be careful & a 3 year old. Ibrahim was guy who looked after our rooms v.well. He always had a smiley greeting & was never intrusive when he came to clean our rooms & left lots of towel art, monkey & crocodile being best. So, what if theres no beach... who needs 1? You can access the sea from the jetty or just watch the fish from on it. Theres numerous pools but we all liked pool with slide best. Dave the pool/towel guy there bit of a joker. The bar staff constantly swapped our empty glasses for full ones without being asked & it was lovely to have lunch there with little birds picking crumbs & Mousafa the chef there also does a cracking omelette at breakfast. Ali at next poolbar gave us drinks & a smile whenever we walked past. Went on Bedouin evening trip, what an experience & our guide on that made the trip & the dvd well worth buying. Zen bar was like a good old English pub. The cabaret nights were okayish with Thurs being best... "spinning man in skirt" amazing. Our daughter celebrated her birthday there & we ate at Elements where all the staff there made it a fantastic & memorable night including a surprise birthday cake arranged by Michelle at reception. This was our 1st visit to Sharm but it definitely wont be the last & when we do return, we'll be going back to this hotel as it was everything we wanted & more!

Room Tip: Take a larger size clothes to come home in, youll need them due to weight gain. :-)

Just came back from a lovely 4 night stay at Sea Breeze Resort. Would definitely revisit. It was a lovely trip - weather, staff and accommodation great. Only negatives were that the music by the pool (near the beach) was far too loud - I like a bit of clubby music but my sunbed was vibrating with the noise the entertainments team weren't thinking of the guests but of their fave rave tunes! Very difficult to chill out by the pool. The other pool by reception was far more tranquil! Also our room was near to the reception area/outside bar area and it was very difficult to sleep with music blaring at night - so don't try to get an earlyish night it won't happen if you're close to the reception!
That said we didn't ask to move (we were only there for 4 nights and the thought of repacking and moving rooms was too much of a hassle we thought) but had it have been a 7, 10 or 14 night stay we would have asked the lovely Michelle Collin in guest relations to move us and I know that the management would have been only too happy to accommodate our request. It hasn't put us off revisiting at all but next time we'd be asking for a different room number - away from the reception area/roof top bar (or out of sound range at least)

Room Tip: Accommodation nearer to the beach would be quieter at nights.

Have just returned from Sea Breeze having previously stayed in this hotel Nov 2012. Pleased to say it was excellent first time and just as good this time. Just the perfect place to chill relax and be looked after 1st class from the moment you walk through the door to when you leave. All the staff everywhere in the hotel are really friendly, polite and go to great length to ensure your stay is as enjoyable as possible. Mamoud on the breakfast hot grill is a pleasure to see in the morning always having a bit of banter with you. All the food in the main restaurant is well prepared with a varied choice (the hotel has a different theme each night) and also very hot unlike some places you visit. The bread and cake on offer are lovely with a big choice to choose from. Try a meal in the Elements restaurant next to the bottom pool. Here you will pay but get 25% off listed price and drinks are all inclusive. The staff that serve you in Elements also do lunch on the patio and are so friendly. Can't remember their names but needless to say they are all a credit to the hotel. If you like your music a bit louder then the bottom pool might be the place for you but if you prefer to relax then the pool with the slide is a little more relaxing. We chose this pool and met 2 fantastic but different characters. Firstly there was Semwil.........KING OF THE POOL!!!!!! who was the towel/pool attendent and a real character. Secondly there was Mohamed who constantly from the minute the pool bar opened tended to everyone's needs bringing you food and drinks. Both of these deserve the upmost credit. Others we came in direct contact were Mohamed who looked to be in charge of Your Bar in main reception and our room cleaner Nabil whose towel art was superb and left our room lovely every day. We were in block 12. Guest Relations person is Michelle who like all others will go to any length to ensure your holiday is enjoyable.Take the free from the hotel bus to Naama Bay and a cheap taxi to Soho Square and see the difference. Naama bit more lively and can get hassled a bit but best policy is to say no and keep walking. All in all this is hotel is a pleasure to stay in and would not hesitate in returning!!!!!!!
