Have just returned from 10 days of the best holiday ever. We have travelled to Egypt about 5 times before but can honestly say this was the best hotel we have ever stayed in for service and comfort it has just become adult only and yes this did make a difference (our children are grown up) it made for a quieter holiday at the pool. Check in was very smooth and quick - we were offered a upgrade on room but decided not to take this up and we were not dissapointed our room was fantastic Room tip block 14 is very central to all areas and is far enough away so very quiet. Zak who cleaned our room was so efficent we wanted for nothing in our room and it was cleaned every day also we returned to various towel art including an elephant and a monkey who was swinging from the air con area. The Tiran buffet restaurant was the best run restaurant I have known, from Mohammed the manager to Ahmed our waiter to Peter who was always cleaning tables the service was always there and delivered with a smile nothing was too much trouble. The food again was the best I have had and there was something for everyone all of the time. I even got to tour the kitchens with Abo head chef and helped to prepare a meal, the kitchens were spotless and so well organised and friendly. We spent alot of our time at the pool with a waterslide again the service was the best - drinks, icecream and fruit delivered to your sunbed I felt like a star. There were a couple to downsides - 1. sunbed availability - in order to get a sunbed you either had to get up at a stupid hour ie 5am or pay (bribe) pool guys to place a towel on the sunbed - which I dont belive is right. Also the entertainment - this was the poorest entertainment I have ever seen for a large hotel it was so bad! the team (only 4) as they were very young they did only really engage with the younger guests or people who were prepared to get up on stage. The only good night was with the snake man - he was amazing.
Wow what a holiday we certainly will be returing - Tip - take plenty of insect replent (mozzies are very hungry). Tip due to the hotel being on a hill and having shiny floors watch your heels flat shoes are much better

Room Tip: rooms in block 14 very central location and are just at top of hill so dont have to walk up the hill...

Just returned from a week at Sea Breeze with my husband and to be honest, it was AMAZING!! Right from the moment the taxi pulled up outside, the staff were there ready to help. Check in was quick and efficient and had the nice touch of a welcome cocktail. Our room was 1707 and was nicely situated close to the main pool and beach. This was perfect for us as this is where we like to spend our time.

Although all of the staff go out of their way to help, a few shone through with their obvious love of their job and genuine interest in the guests. Firstly Emad from the Shisha Garden lived up to his name MAD!! He was always smiling, happy and joking and knew exactly what we liked to drink. If you get the chance, go say Hi! You'll be glad you did.

We booked a diving excursion through the wonderful and knowledgable James of Anar Dive School. You'll find them on the lower beach right-hand side. It is not to be missed! Great value for money as they restrict the number of persons per trip and then its dedicated only for people from Sea Breeze.

Sameh from the Main pool bar was an angel. He kept everybody happy and knew just how many Jack Hammers to have ready at the end of Water Polo each afternoon.

We treated ourselves to the romantic dinner on the pier on the Saturday night and Ahmed absolutely amazed us as he ran up and down to the kitchen with each of the 5 courses. This is definitely not an evening to miss.

Our afternoon snacks were at Elements and the team of Ali, Wael, Ahmed and Mohammed John made sure we were looked after with some friendly banter and a smile.

At the end of each day it was a pleasure to get back to our room to find cute towel sculptures and pillow chocolates left for us by Sam.

Make sure to book your complimentary meal in the Shisha BBQ bar. The shrimp and kebabs are to die for! Abouzeid really ensures his team in all restaurants keep food hygiene levels to the highest level. The buffet restaurant has a lot of choice. The Beef Wellington was the highlight of the week for me.

My husband needed a trip to the doctors due to a kidney infection whilst we were there. Dr Michael, Dr George and Marco Fared were all amazing and really rescued the holiday for him.

Both my husband and I induged ourselves in the spa with the Cleopatra treatment! Pure bliss!

When it was time to come home, the staff were fantastic! Moh hany collected us from the room and Mohammed Ali, Malak and Ahmed in reception made sure we met our transfer in time.

All in all, we had the most perfect week in paradise, made some new friends and enjoyed all that the hotel had to offer. We will definitely be returning.....hopefully as soon as I finish the washing lol!

See you soon! Love Gina and Mark xxx

We have just got back from a week at the Xperience Sea Breeze after our friends recommended it. We were not disappointed and would highly recommend this hotel to others.

It was our first time in Egypt and we were unsure of what to expect. The hotel was very nice, all areas were really clean and felt high-end in design and appearance. There are staff on hand everywhere and they are always offering their help and they are so friendly and kind too.

All Inclusive
The all inclusive offer is by far the most comprehensive and varied that we have ever had. There are about 8 choices of cocktails included on the all inclusive and they're really nice. The breakfast, lunch and dinner choices are vast, catering for all cultures and those who want to eat healthily too. There are also really nice snacks available at 2 of the pool bars (so you don't have to leave the sun if you fancy some lunch!) and there is ice cream and afternoon / late evening snacks too!

The rooms
We stayed in the most basic room, but still found it very good and spacious. There is a mini bar with very reasonably priced items in it, in case you fancy something in your room. The bathroom has a large shower and these are nice and powerful too! You get fresh water every day to drink and use for tooth-brushing. The rooms are cleaned every day and there is a good sized balcony too. The flat-screen TV is great and for those who want to watch things from their laptop there is a HDMI socket so you can stream to TV. (great for those on winter sun trips as sun goes in at 3:30pm and so there is usually some spare time until evening events)

The pools
You get really good sized beach towels and so don't need to take your own - Save the space!! The sun loungers are all padded and this makes them really, really comfortable. There are 5 pools in total, although 3 are quite small. We preferred pool 3, which was small but had a bar and a fantastic barman who couldn't do enough to help keep you cool and refreshed! He brought round cold water, juices and fruit! The only downside was that the sun moves in a way that it makes it difficult to get one sun lounger which will get sun all day. Therefore, the one's that do are reserved usually the night before, so even if you get up mega early they are gone! However, you usually only needed to move once and then you could get sun all day long.

The health / beauty rooms
The gym, sauna and steam rooms were great and really well kitted out.
I chose to have a facial and false nails done at the on-site spa (there are staff walking round daily trying to up sell spa services - but they are very polite and if you say no they will not pester you!) I got the facial and nails for what was half price on the book prices (assume this is standard) so I paid £30 for facial and £20 for nails. I was promised a 1-hr facial on day 1 and a 50-min follow up on last day of hols. I found the facial to be the better valued product as it was enjoyable and they do threading on eyes, upper lip and chin too. However, I found the false nails to be very basic. Initially I had purple and a flower painted on them and they didn't look too bad but then when I got the French manicure they looked very bad, like stick-ons. I didn't complain as I didn't really want to spend my last day inside the spa getting them corrected. However, I would suggest to the hotel that they might want to look at improving the nail offer. The follow up facial was O.K but not quite as long as was promised. However, for the £30 paid I felt it was reasonable value.

Customer care
By far this is the best hotel we have ever stayed in for customer care. Nothing was ever too much trouble and the staff amaze you at how hard they work! On the first night we arrived my husband had a really bad nosebleed and the staff rallied round getting plenty of tissue, ice and water for us. They were so caring and enquired the next day to how he was feeling. We also had a water leak from the air-con unit during the night and when we rang reception they immediately sent someone over and they fixed the problem within 10-mins and apologised for the disruption to our sleep - a great resolve to a completely unpredictable matter! We really did think the staff were the best part of the hotel! From the cleaners to the managers, everyone was personable and offered their help.

Other useful tips for those who are going to Egypt for first time;
- Mosquito's and sand flies are rife and even the staff said they were finding the bites worse than ever. They can cause lots of itching, sickness and diarrhoea etc.. so it;s important to take lots of repellant with you. We took Jungle Formula and this worked best. We ran out after 2 days though as we only took one can and we had to buy 'OFF' which was about £4.00 and seemed to work o,k, but not as good as jungle formula, so be sure to take lots + bite reliever because it's almost inevitable you'll get bitten!! The on site doctor can administer a jab if you get very badly bitten but I think this is chargeable.
- Taxi's - When getting taxi's from the hotel we used their service which is much nicer than the government taxi service as they set a fixed price upfront. We got a few taxi's which were government registered (they;re blue and white with numbers on) and they agree a price but then try to blag more at the end. You just have to be firm and say no, we agreed X price.
- Naama Bay is very busy and you get pestered at every point to visit the shops and bars. Personally we found it too overwhelming and left after an hour. It was too much!
- Soho square is by far the nicest place to visit in the evenings. It is a mixture of shops, bars and entertainments (ice skating etc..) Prices are quite high in bars, but not much worse than what we'd pay in England! (£7 for 2 local beers)
- Old Sharm - this is as close to a 'souk' as you'll find but the items on sale were all the same as in Naama and SOHO

All that is left to say is that Xperience Sea Breeze is a 5* Hotel with 5* service - would highly recommend to anyone!

After a poor transfer from the airport (nothing to do with the hotel) I was happy to see the reception area was well staffed and clean.
Room 1458 was a good size with a kingsize bed and effective aircon. Nice balcony with a partial sea view. The bathroom was a bit grubby, mirrors not cleaned, tiles had some weird sticky stuff on them and the grouting looked like it had be applied with a wooden spoon. I did complain, was told the hotel was full and could not change rooms but they did gave us dressing gowns and slippers. However the room was cleaned everyday to a good standard and the animal shapes made from towels was a nice touch from the housekeeper.

There are 2 large pools and 2 small pools in the complex. The pools are very clean and well looked after. Also the gardens are lovely and well kept. Well done to the gardenders who work their butts off in the heat! We choose to spend most of our time at one of the smaller pools which had its own bar and waiter, Ali who was very friendly and helpful.

There is an issue with sunbeds in this place, in that there are only about 4 sunbeds in the whole place that get the sun all day. Therefore, people do get up early to reserve the best beds. I guess its just one of those things. You will always be able to get a sunbed, but it may not be in the sun.
Also, be prepared to be hassled by touts selling spa treatments, watersports and newspapers. They bug the hell out of you for the first 2 days then they tend to leave you alone when you don't buy anything.

By far, the most dissapointing part of the holiday was the food. The main restaurant served breakfast, lunch and dinner buffet style and it was bland, unappealing and unsanitary most of the time. Also, as you walk in to the restaurent there is a clear sign which defines dress code, which the staff and managers make absolutely no attempt to reinforce. There is the Shisha lounge and Elements which you can dine in but it it at an extra cost (and is only marginally better). The best place to have lunch is at the Zen bar with table service and the food is half-decent.

Overall it was fine but I wouldn't return to this hotel. It was a cheapy holiday and you get what you pay for.
