“The Best resort by all means!!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 21 June 2009

I just got back from sharm el sheikh for 4 nights with my wife and we had a wonderful time there! The Four seasons is a must for any traveler going there. It is by far the best resort by all means and measures!! The service was incredible they make you feel as if you own the place!! wet towels and refreshments upon your arival when checking in just gave you the feeling that this is a special place. You get escorted from the lobby to you room by a golf car (no need to wonder around walking). The room was spacious and the decorations and furniture just made it perfect and as cosy as home! There is a fenicular that takes you from and to the beach. On the beach the snorkeling is amazing however there is something worth noticing, there is no shallow water to swim in its walking on a wooden bridge then straight into the deep. All kinds of sporting activities are provided. The staff are very professional and helpful, there is no need to walk with your towels and laying them out on your sun bed, they do it all for you. They even have staff wondering around and offering to clean sunglases if you have any or offering complimentary beverages and fruits! what a service! the pool by the sea is very large and relaxing. Never crowded and noisy in fact the whole resort is quiet and not crowded surely the place to go and relax! The whole staff were very polite and helpful which made the place even more special. The restaurants and very good. The breakfast buffet in "Arabesque" and the Italian restaurant "IL Frantoio" are a must! The place is a bit pricey compared to other resorts in sharm but then again it is the Four Seasons and it is well spent money! One of the best resorts i have ever been to!

We just recently returned from a trip from Egypt and Jordan (5/22-6/9) , staying 2 nights at the Four Seasons. Out of the 7 hotels that were all 5 stars, the Four Seasons by far was the best hotel we stayed at. Sharm El Sheikh was our last stop in Egypt before we headed off to Jordan.
The Four Seasons at Sharm was a welcome relief from all the hustle and bustle of Egypt. The security was tight at the hotel which is comforting. Before you can even drive up to the hotel the cars are all checked at the gate. We had a deluxe room with a private balcony and gorgeous view of the Red Sea. The rooms were immaculate and the beds and pillows were the most comfortable in comparison to all the hotels we had stayed at for the trip. It is truly a 5 star hotel in terms of US standards. The service was also top notch with everyone there being very attentive and warm. On a side note, the hotel even had a sunglass bulter that actually comes by and cleans your sunglasses while you were sunbathing by the pool or beach! I thought this was pretty cool! I also used their spa facilities which were great as well!
The only con about the hotel is the price. Everything is definitely more expensive which is to be expected. A can of Coke cost me $6 US dollars which I thought was outrageous. However, it did not suprise me since I expected things to be more expensive on the resort. Our tour guide pointed out, that you could buy drinks at the nearby grocery store which was only a 10 minute walk. Since it's a vacation and I'm there to relax, saving the extra dollars is not worth it.
Overall, a great experience at the hotel and I highly recommend!

We have just come back (last night) and am already planning my next stay. Having never ventured over to this side of the world, as we usually holiday in the carribean, I was rather wary, but felt we needed to broaden our horizons. My husband and I were in dire need of a chilled out holiday, to recharge our batteries. We booked with Hayes & Jarvis online and was so impressed with their services. Very helpful and proffesional and a fair price for the holiday around £2000.00 for the week. As usual the worst part of the journey was the flying (Monarch) very cramped plane, but with only a 5 hour flight this was bearable. When we arrived at the airport which is very modern and clean. We were told H&J that we would be met by a rep at arrivals. I thought us a umteen others but no, he was there to meet just us, He whisked us through the mounting ques of people, there were hundred, as two other flight had arrived at the same time, through passport control and to luggage collection, within 2 minutes of arriving we were sitting waiting for our luggage instead of slugging out with everyone else, and then whisked of in a private car to the hotel (which is about 10 mins away) H & J could not be faulted - brilliant service.
On arrival at the hotel we were tired it was now midnight but the splendour of the surroundings and the attentive staff was wonderful, Our bags where put through xray before going into the hotel, but all with minimun fuss and very comforting to think security is taken so seriously. Check in was with minimal fuss and very quick.
We were taken to our room by a golf caddy, and were stunned at what waited for us,
The deluxe room was beautiful. A private terrace, entering into a living area and then into the bedroom areas with a huge bed and the best linen sheets. There was a small passage that had a walk in closed on one side and a dressing area on the other with a mirror, drawers, mini fridge and tea & coffee making facilities. Everything was of the highest quality. At the end of the passage was the huge marble bathroom and to top it all La Occitane product were provided for your use.
Next day we explored and were not dissapointed everthing is to the highest standard and maintained all the time. The resort is set in village style with little alleyways and water features, nobobdy is overlooked and the rooms are of only two storey. The actual hotel is gorgeous and this is were most of the restaraunts are including breakfast which was buffet style and had everything you could possible wish for, as well as a fruit station where a chef will prepare a fruit platter for you, an egg station for omelettes etc and a pancake and waffle station - I tried them all and they were perfect. A this point I might add that we ate everywhere in the hotel and never once has stomach upsets etc. They supply lots of complimentary bottled water in your room, and you can buy from the hotel.
We ate at all the restaraunts and they are all of the highest standard, the Nafoura Lounge is a lovely area to go to after your meal. The evening entertainment is very low key, more sophisticated with a duet playing in one place, a piano or violinist, this is not the place for you if you like to party on through the night to loud music, although you may get that out of the hotel, We didn't venture out, we didn't need to.
The beach is small but again perfect, a small jetty takes you to the area which is safe to swim and snorkell in, towel are provided all the time. You have numerous choices as to where you want to soak the ray up from, a cabbanna, a sunflounger with a really cool canopy that sheilds you at the hottest part of the day or by the pool - there are so many choices and it wasn't so busy that you couldn't get anywhere. It is so well set out and planned. Because the resort is set on a hillside and therefore quite steep there are lots of steps, but if you can't manage steps or have a buggy there is a small electric tram like thing that will transport you up or down aswell as staff who will gladly take you in a golf buggy. The staff are constantly checking if you're ok and they genuently mean it. They are very discreet but are on the ball if you need anything, often knowing what you need before you do. Whilst sunbathing staff came round and sprayed you with lemon scented cold water which was wonderful, they would clean your sunglasses and offer cold cloths soaked in menthol for your comfort. One night we sat for cocktails and I had enough, although my husband wanted another, because he would be drinking and I had finished the waiter came over with a glass of water for me - how thoughtful. And that is what they are like all the time, I honestly didn't come across one rude person.
A must is the spa and gym, we visited three times to use the well equiped gym and to use the steam and sauna. The changing facilities are out of this world, with complimentary creams deodrants and even razors.
We had a wonderful time and will definately be back. This place is paradise where everything is done for your wellbeing, without being contrived and uncomfortable.
The Four Seasons definately know how to do things in style,

We were privilaged to have been treated to a witsun holiday last year to celebrate our daughters 30th birthday by our son in law. We had never been to Egypt before, more than happy with Crete or other Greek islands, so had no idea what lay ahead as we arrived at The 4 Seasons in Sharm. Everything about this wonderful hotel made us quickly realise what 5* really should mean, in fact, we would say that by comparison to other excellent Greek 5* hotels, The 4 Seasons was a 7! The friendliness of all the staff, from the General Manager to the gardeners was brilliant and with an 18 month old baby, we could not get over how "adored" the children were treated. Nothing was any trouble! My daughter found the wonderful feather pillows too soft so asked reception if there were any alternatives. Within the hour, 3 different types of pillow had been delivered for her to select! On the 3rd day, we realised that the babies arm bands were inadequate so my daughter asked the life guard if the shop sold any. Again, within the hour, arm bands were delivered to the swimming pool and Ella was bouyant and safer! I could not believe my luck when I opened some wonderful birthday presants to celebrate my 60th b'day the final one another glorious week at The 4 Seasons. Everything about this year was the same or better than last year and I urge anyone to save up for the treat of their lives.

We stayed for a week at the Four Seasons in May for our honeymoon.

Getting there is very easy - flew from Manchester (thompson - not bad, not great tho) 5 hours, then a short 10 minute taxi ride from the airport. The resort is close to the airport, close but not too close that you get jets flying over.

From our arrival onwards, everything was very impressive. The long lined palm tree drive, on check in we were given cooling face towels and a shot of mango juice. We were then whisked off with our bags in a golf buggy to our room and the driver pointed out some of the features of the hotel.

The room was spacious, cool - lovely bathroom with fabulous products L'occitane and Molton Brown. They had also left us some flowers and a happy honeymoon cake.
It was a premiere room and we had a pretty decent view of the sea and a fine size balcony for two of us.

The service was fantastic, couldn't fault it - the staff were so friendly and tried their hardest to remember our names.

The food was of very high standard too. Breakfast was my wife's favourite part of the day, the selection was incredible. Fruit, muesli, cereal, pastries, eggs benedict, omelettes, crepes, pancakes, waffles, cheeses, even curries!

We had our best meals at the Reef Grill and thought this restaurant had the best location right on the beachfront. Steaks were great considering they were imported from Australia, and of course fabulous seafood. The only slightly disappointing meal was at the italian restaurant (which is their top of the range one), where we found the food was OK but nothing to rave about and the service surprisingly a little slack.
The resort is very clean and tidy, gardens carefully landscaped and lush (for a desert!). Pool area superb and quality of snorkelling on your doorstep amazing. The spa was really lovely too - very quiet most days I was the only person in the men's side! We also got a complimentary couple's massage as part of our honeymoon which was top notch.

Price-wise, yes as other guests have said it is expensive. Its also a five star resort so I would expect it to be expensive. To give you an idea, our extras for a week came to just over £800 for both of us and we weren't being too careful (however a few days we had eaten so much breakfast that we skipped lunch). Alcohol is expensive and we had taken a bottle of spirits with us to drink on our balcony. If you walk to the right out of the resort there is a supermarket where you can buy cheap mixers and keep them in your mini-bar.

We had a truly fabulous week and would recommend the Four Seasons to any other honeymooners, or families.

Lovely hotel, the location is a bit off the track but saying that you get away from all the annoying sales people who drive you mad in Nama bay!! The hotel is lovely and great service, i've stayed in some of the best hotels and i noticed the little things that four seasons do which other hotels may not do, like putting two towels on your lounger not one!! The housekeeping staff folded your clothes when you left for the day, which in my case they were all over the floor- so great!!!!

Don't go to this hotel, if you dont want a huge bill when you leave, i could of booked another holiday from the extras bill and i was not going over the top on food and drink!! Internet prices were crazy which annoyed me a bit.
