“Amazing”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 12 August 2014

Me and my girlfriend had 2 weeks here in July. There was not one bad thing to report back, the staff couldn't do more for you from the minute you got off the bus still the minute you were getting back onto the bus to go back home. We had room 2208 and was lovely you had a good view of the pool as well as you could see the sea, but if you fancied a chilled night you could sit on the balcony and listen to the live music whilst being in the comfort of your on room. The food was fantastic at morning, lunch and dinner it was always fresh and hot. The beach bar for lunch was amazing and lovely to chill out for a drink as well. The a la carte restaurant was superb and my recommendation to you is choose the steak it is literately out of this world.

Youseff on the animations team made the holiday he was a great laugh and always full of energy, he went back home about 3 days before we did and those 3 days you could tell he was gone which was a great shame.

This is a great hotel for couples who want to relax and get peace and quiet and don't want kids running around. I would highly recommended this hotel with no bad points what so ever!

The hotel is well located by the old market of Sharm el Sheikh with direct beach access however no coral reefs in front of the hotel beach as by several hotels in Sharm el Sheikh. My executed suite was very nice with separate bed and living room, spacious bathroom, however air conditioning was not working in the living room. The room was not clean at all, it was never cleaned with vacuum in the whole week only slight wished. The beach is clean but the sunbeds and umbrellas are very old and uncomfortable, not in good shape at all.
The personal is incompetent but they try to be helpful. Don't ask for all inclusive as the quality of the food compared to a 5 star resort is horrible, poor and bad quality. I was sick for three days... The pool is very small and in the SPA are some good masseurs but not all of them are good. I had one who had no knowledge about anatomy of body at all.

Room Tip: near to seaside rooms as they are more quiet

Reading the reviews of this place we were exceptionally excited. 'All inclusive, attentive staff, fantastic food, great entertainment, plenty to do, great beach etc etc'. Factually these are right but need a little reality too. The hotel is 4 star on a good day at its very best. The food is ok not marvellous, the beds are great, the towel art just ok, the staff are ok, the beach is ok, the entertainment varies from being bad enough to be hilarious to being ok, the spa treatments are good, the transfers are ok, the rep was good. All in all its an average place to go, it's an average hotel. The staff do their level best to please. Don't go during Ramadan and the hotels next door blare out very loud, so even my noise cancelling headphones didn't detract, annoying dance music each day. The wine is terrible red or white unless you buy a bottle which you can do starting at 75 quid ... Any normal drinks are not included in the all inclusive, food timing are the same as an old peoples home. The boat to the coral reef is a tiny little skiff and the reef small and covered in litter. But I guess the reef is ok. I've waited some time to post the review to balance it out .. Look to anyone thinking about going I would suggest you think long and hard about what is relaxing. being told when you can eat, when you can't eat, hassle trying to find sunbeds, or even just trying to have an afternoon snooze each day either on the beach which is prevented by the exceptionally loud music, or in your room because the cleaners don't know how to shut a door without slamming it up and down the corridor or knocking on your door if you are not out of your room by 9 am.

If you are a robot and want breakfast at 8, lunch at midday, afternoon tea, then dinner at 7 then this is the place for you.

If you want to chill relax and have fun I'd suggest its perhaps not for you.

Just got home this morning, after a fabulous 11 night stay at this hotel! So so sad to leave. We had a fantastic time and cannot recommend the hotel highly enough. The rooms are huge, with beds which are probably 7 feet wide! We were in room 2221 which faced the arena. The staff at this hotel really do make this a 5 star experience. They will and do make sure you have everything to make your holiday perfect. We did not encounter one member of staff who was miserable or unhelpful. Although, I should not pick people out, my particular favourites were Hosny the bar manager, who is a real gem of a man and the lovely Mohamededelzogbey, behind the main bar. The food at the hotel is particularly good, with different theme nights. You can eat at two different restaurants in the evenings and there us also a fantastic a large carte restaurant. Another nice touch to this hotel is that they have two ladies that go around each day asking if everyone is happy and if they have any complaints. The pool and beach here are both lovely, the hotel even have there own coral beach where you can snorkel and the hotel have a free boat service to this. I could go on and on about how good this hotel! If you are lucky enough to be booked to go, I am very jealous!! We made some lovely friends here and shall be returning together next summer. Thank you to everyone at the Palace for a memorable and fabulous holiday!!!

Was supposed to go as a couple, but ended up taking mother! The staff, service and quality of the rooms and food are 2nd to none. Nobody hassles you for massages or trips, they are just there if you want them. No-one begs for tips, they have tip boxes for your own discretion. All staff are friendly and professional, rooms cleaned daily.
We loved that there were no plastic cups or paper napkins, all linen napkins and glassware even on the beach! The only thing that was negative was the plastic cups and litter which washed up on the beach, however this was not the fault of the hotel, but of surrounding resorts and boats, staff did clean it up from time to time but maybe they could do it more often. We read the reviews before we booked and found them to be accurate. Would definitely go again to this resort, it could not have been more relaxing! Finally, entertainment was good, a little of everything to keep everyone happy & the waiter Sabry deserves a huge thank you, he was fab.

Room Tip: double superior was very spacious, 8ft bed, dressing gown, unlimited tea/coffee/water, toiletries...

We had an amazing holiday at the palace in june!!
What a beautiful hotel with lovely hospitable staff maintaining its reputation to an exceptionally high standard!

Everybody works so hard to ensure you have a relaxed enjoyable holiday and nothing less!
We loved the huge variety of food daily. I don't think anyone can complain about choice as there is so much to choose from and it tasted delicious always!

A huge thanks to Mamdoh who always ensured a good evening with our drinks being topped up!! Sabry who runs the pool bar so smoothly always serving with a smile!! Thank you. Mohamed in the restaurant thank you! A special thank you to Youssef head of the animation team! He is such a special person and a real asset to the hotel. He works hard all day to make sure you enjoy your holiday and always gets you to play Bowles on the beach (boccia) which is good fun and gives you the chance to meet the other guests!! Thank you to you all and I hope you all had a nice Ramadan!

I'm sure those of you who have visited this hotel before will agree its a beautiful place and the closeness you feel to this hotel is everlasting!
Definitely a holiday you will never forget!!

Love from the rainy and sunny UK
