We have just returned home from an amazing week's holiday at the Iberotel Palace.
Everything about our holiday was wonderful. The rooms were exceptionally clean and tidy, the location was fantastic and the staff could not do enough to help you and help make your holiday as enjoyable as possible (especially Mohammed at the beach bar).
The restaurants were always clean with a good selection of buffet style food, and being on the All Inclusive package, we were also treated to 1 evening in the Toscana al a carte restaurant - very nice!
Other treats received on the All Inclusive package were the free laundry service and the free 30 min massage.
The hotel's private beach was beautiful. Again, spotlessly clean, with free beach towels supplied every day and a good selection of sunbeds to choose from.
Please don't be put off by other comments on here about the masseurs. Yes, they will pounce upon you on your first day and try to get you to buy various treatments, but as soon as you politely say no, they will not pester you for the rest of your holiday.
I would also agree, that any excursions should be booked from the beach instead of from the rep, as we found them to be very expensive. We would thoroughly recommend the quad biking. Great fun and good value for money.
Special thanks have to go to the animation team at the hotel who made our holiday so memorable. There was always some fun activity on the beach to join in with.
Sam was an absolute star!! We thoroughly enjoyed our game of boules and water aerobics every day. Just hearing Sam's voice on the beach each day bought a smile to our faces. He had just been promoted whilst we were there - thoroughly deserved!!
This hotel is definitely recommended. We will be looking to return again next year!

Wanted sun, good pool, nice beach and sea. got it all. Service provided by all staff was very good. Room excellent. wide range of food on offer. Fantastic snorkelling only a boat ride away 'free' every half hour. Entertainment bit samey but other guests made up for that. Good choice of excursions at reasonable prices on offer. Wanted to do more but only there for a week. So impressed that plan to go back next year. Gardens well maintained.

This was our 3rd trip to this hotel and each time it improves. All the staff are friendly with smiles on their faces throughout the day and night.

The welcome we received from the staff was brilliant. It makes you wonder how they can remember all the return visitors. I emailed the hotel 2 weeks before our visit to ask for a room in a certain area and they complied with my request.

The Manager holds a Gala night where he introduces some of his staff to the guests. He informed us that the food provided in the hotel is all organic and all the water used is bottled - even for cooking. He also said that if anyone has any dietary requirements then these could be accommodated.

During our stay we had a slight problem in our room. This was dealt with quickly and efficiently. For the inconvenience the Manager gave us a bottle of wine and a basket of fruit. Even though we were all inclusive I thought this was a very nice gesture.

I would thoroughly recommend the all inclusive option in the hotel. There is a great variety of food and drink throughout the day and night. You will never go hungry!!

The snorkeling from the beach is great. If you want more spectacular snorkeling you can go across the bay. A free motor boat takes you there but you can also walk around the bay which takes about 10 minutes. We often walked there early in the morning. During our stay we saw a turtle from the jetty on the beach and a huge moray eel at the reef.

Sam from the animation team does a great job. He has great enthusiasm and so much energy and manages to communicate well with all the different nationalities.

If you want a "chill out" holiday then the Iberotel Palace is for you. We met up with friends who we first met at the hotel last year for a reunion. We had a fantastic fortnight.

I can guarantee that anyone visiting this hotel will not be disappointed. We have already booked for next year.

I'd known this hotel wasn't going to disappoint, after reading the TA reviews. But was still pleasantly surprised anyway. The staff are most helpful, the pool area was beautiful, and rooms were of a good standard and size. Everything was lovely really.
Admittedly, the location could have been better for me, as I'd like to have been closer to the action in Na'ama bay, But it was only a short & cheap taxi ride away (though getting a taxi was a very scarey event every night, the taxi drivers drive at a seemingly unlimited speed, with no lights on. I think some of them enjoy scaring you!). Being away from the main resort meant having access to a much less crowded beach (albeit a man-mad one, which perhaps wasn't quite as pretty as the natural beaches). It was a nice chilled out holiday, with glorious sunshine throughout.
A word of warning to any light-sleepers - take ear-plugs. We were woken at 4am every
morning by the religious chants taking place on a hill very close by. They are repeated throughout the day. The afternoons/evenings did sometimes get a bit noisy too with the Beach Club next door, but that could've been the end-of-Ramadan celebrations. It's possibly quieter now that's passed.
For those of you that want to see the marine-life I would definately recommend the 'VIP' boat trip that includes 3 snorkel sites, lunch and a close up of the dolphins if you're lucky.
If you want a nice relaxing holiday, then I would certainly recommend it this hotel.

First of all this hotel is amazing! The beach and sea are fantastic, snorkeling is incredible and the breakfast, beach bar, pool and room are also superb. We also loved the location opposite the old market, which feels a lot closer to ‘real Egypt’ than Na’ama Bay (although that is only a 5 minute taxi journey away if you prefer somewhere very, very touristy). The Thomson Rep was very helpful and informative (but if you are going to do any diving or snorkeling trips book it through the dive centre at the hotel as it is cheaper).

The only negative was that when we had a problem or request, they were very slow or simply didn’t bother to help. When we arrived the guy gave us our key and stared at us blanking until I asked him if he could show us where our room was, to which he pointed vaguely so we had to find it ourselves.
When we got to our room it was very nice and clean, except half the lights didn’t work, the safe was locked and the fridge was broken. This was all sorted fairly promptly but not exactly what you expect from a 5* hotel.

We requested a kettle on the first day and the guy said it would be over in an hour…or maybe tomorrow… so we said ok, but tomorrow came and it didn’t arrive. So we requested it again and was told it would be over shortly, again it didn’t arrive. So the next day we asked again, and when we came back from our night out there was a toilet roll on the bed so I think he had miss understood me! After that we gave up!

It was my birthday whilst we were there and my girlfriend had requested a cake. She had intended to pay for it but the hotel very kindly gave it us for free. However, she agreed a time for the delivery to the room, and 2 hours later (bearing in mind we were waiting to go out) it still hadn’t arrived and we got a phone call asking if it should be brought over to the room.

It was very nice and came a huge tray with a candle and plates and napkins etc. The problem came trying to get rid of the tray. It was huge so we requested someone come and collect it and surprise, surprise no one came. So the next day we requested again and again no one came. The following day due to our own stupidity we locked ourselves out of our room. So we went to reception and asked if someone could let us in and the guy said he would send someone over. After waiting outside the room for 20 minutes no one had arrived so I went back to reception and asked if anyone was coming, so he came over and let us in (which I didn’t really understand why he couldn’t have just done that in the first place). We asked him to take the tray and he said he would send someone over and didn’t. We eventually dumped it on a sun lounger by the pool.

We had a pool view room and it was very noisy until late in the evening but this might have been because it was Ramadan. Every evening there was cheesy Butlins style karaoke music play very loudly. I didn’t go on too late, but was still a bit annoying and a little out of sink with the rest of the hotel and surroundings.

None of these problems are exactly major ones and they in no way hindered our enjoyment of the hotel, but just for a 5* hotel and the amount we paid we expected a little better service, similar to that we received at the Mena House in Cairo or the Steigenberger in Luxor which was real 5* luxury and service.

All in all I would highly recommend this hotel and I appreciate these problems are quite specific and most people probably won’t have them! There are a lot of hotels to choose from in Sharm but if you choose this one I promise you won’t be disappointed!

If you are looking for a hotel in Sharm that has everything laid on with service to a very high standard then we would thouroughly recommend the Iberotel Palace. They take the service that they offer very seriously and respond quickly if there is anything not quite right. Special thanks go to Mohamed S,, beach and sundowner bars, for the way he looked after us throughout our holiday. Whilst engaging with the animation team for this kind of holiday is not our style, Sam, really does represent the heartbeat of this hotel and tries his best to make everyone's holiday an enjoyable experience. The general manager was always available and the chef's in all the restaurants were very professional. The food was top class - no complaints whatsoever. Strongly advise All Incluvsive option, great value for money. The beach is really close at hand and private so you do not get hassled and even though in your first few days, you will be encouraged to have a back massage it is easy to refuse; however, we did try the back massage and they were in fact very very good. The boat to the snorkelling beach is well worth a try and the swimming pools are clean and there is always somewhere to sit. Another special thanks to Hani in the pool bar and Shehata in the main bar for their attentiveness and quality of service. You can't go wrong with this hotel there were no unhappy guests and we have no hesitation in recommending it..
